We will definitely look into that. Right now our focus is on the 59' and the 64' as we finish them up and get them on the road...Then we will have more time to focus on other specific videos. Appreciate the feedback!

Awesome detailed video, thanks for your efforts to the team at Caddy Daddy. Would I be correct in assuming that this info for brakes and suspension would apply to a 64 DeVille 2 dr convertible?
Thank you very much Gabriel! Yes, you are correct, the Caddy Daddy parts used in this video for our 64' Eldorado will in fact work for the 64' DeVille also. The only model they will not fit are the commercial chassis, such as a limo, hearse, etc. Thanks for commenting!
Are the upper control arms on a 64 Coupe Deville interchangeable from driver to passenger side? The Ball Joints are specific to each side, but wasn't sure if the control arms are different.
@@Caddydaddy after the ball joints are installed there is a left and right side upper. However, if the ball joints are removed, the arms are the same. Shop manual says there is left and right side, along with parts manual, and the reason for that as you correctly stated in the beginning of the video, you used to be only able to order the complete assembly L or R as they were tack welded :) Good info in case someone destroyed a side accidentally...ie removing or pressing incorrectly ;)
We must have mixed up right and left on the bench. I will go over one day and correct the problem and also make sure we did not get the self-adjusters swapped left for right. Thank you for taking the time to point this out. John
A car that wanders could be many things. If the car was aligned for bias ply tires, and it now has radials, there might be too much toe-in. The opposite also applies to little toe for bias ply. Another common thing is the steering gear is worn with too much free play in the straight ahead position, allowing the front wheels to wander. There could be a number of worn parts in the front end. Jack the car up and check everything for looseness very carefully. If you have recently done some work, or made some sort change and the problem appeared, look at the previous work, or something damaged during the work. Otherwise, it is a difficult problem to diagnose without being able to drive the car.
Love the Cadillac LaSalle Club fender covers
Thanks. Getting close to getting the 1964 Eldo on the road.
Awesome videos guys! Please make some how to videos for a 1966 Cadillac!

Do you think it’ll handle any better?
It definitely will.
Like a Cadillac should. I drove a 1963 convertible for years as an everyday car and this should be even better. I've done more to the 1964.
Where did you get that mat on the side of the fender I need one!
From an inventory from an old timert

Yes, 1961-1968 FWD driver Cadillacs have the same upper control arms and Yes, they are different per side. There is a right side and a left side.

@@chuckswanson2397 Yes, very important to know this or else you can be stuck with a piece you can't use.
Is the front suspension similar to a 65 Fleetwood limo?
Yes, it is. John
The primary (shorter) brake shoe should be on the front you have the shoes reversed .

I have a 1972 cadillac coupe and I am getting some swaying out of the front end when driving what would cause this???

Less music, better photography (not nano-second snots that are not informative).
