    For several years, the driver's window has occasionally been slow to close.
    Over time I concluded that for a certain reason it happens in winter when the weather is dry.
    I searched the internet and watched dozens of videos with a similar solution, but this video describes the procedure in the most detail, so tomorrow I will apply it to my Hyundai i30.
    Well done and thank you.

    I can’t believe I didn’t get a notification for this video. A very useful tip, I remember that the rental Nissan Tiida in Cyprus I drove, had super slow windows, I never thought of this. Keep up the good work!!

      Thank you for watching it. I hope my videos have improved since then. :P I think someone in Ireland sold them. I am not sure if I am thinking about another car though. Did you see the Note and knackered skyline saloon?. :)

    Clean and lubricate - that covers so much of car maintenance, servicing and repairs. Also well done on showing preventative maintenance by doing this simple job before the windows stop working.
    A tip for you, rather than having to buy another sperate product and worrying about the paint buy and use GT85 on this and many other jobs on the car and many other items. No, I'm not on commission. :)

    So why would my windows go up and down quickly with the door panels removed but slow right down after I reinstall the door panels? The side tracks are the same in both cases. I'm suspecting the rubber at the bottom of the window.

    • @CarSpyTV
      @CarSpyTV  Рік тому +1

      If you pull the rubber at the bottom of the window back a little, does the window speed up?

    So you clean up first the tunnel, then spray silicone without cleaning, right?

    • @CarSpyTV

    you still got 50% of tracks inside your door panel.

      @@CarSpyTV Sure, whatever works, just pointing out some optionals. I would take off the panel and blast it inside. But for people not adventurous to do the whole track, "sliding the lube down" is enough.
