According to Dr. Judy Morgan, that whole Oregon cat that died story is falling apart at the seams. The cat was not a strictly on indoor cat. So could’ve caught the avian flew outside. The testing they did was on an open bag of the product which they’re not supposed to test the open bag. And why is there only one sick cat? There should be hundreds of sick cats if this was really a thing. So I’m calling BS on the entire damn thing.

I wondered about this story when I first heard it. I don't even believe in bird flu, I think it's the 5g frequencies making people, birds and animals sick. A good way to make owners stop feeding raw food though. If agenda 2030 is correct, pets will not be allowed by 2030 so they have to get rid of them somehow...what better way than contaminating the food...or saying there is no more pet food due to climate change. In the UK x bully dogs are banned, at the same time as the ban the attacks went up about 2000%, something made those dogs angry and i even wondered if the 5g frequencies were targeting the microchips! Nothing would surprise me anymore...

@rainbowconnected I am 70 years old. As far back as I can remember, there have always been dogs in the house. They were healthy, happy, long-lived dogs. We only went to the clinic once a year to get a rabies shot. In those days, there was no commercial pet food. There were no dermatologists or nutritionists either. Today, I have a fairly large dog, 90 pounds. I decided to try dry food. It is convenient and cost-effective. A year later, allergy problems began. I spent thousands of dollars on doctors. To be honest, homemade food is quite expensive, but much cheaper than Doctor's Bills. My boy is absolutely healthy and I am happy.

    • @rainbowconnected

It is most definitely an industry made disease, which the government happily allows because it's profitable for them. Where else besides factory farms would create such perfect conditions for a virus to mutate so quickly? I mean, what could go wrong when you put a bunch of animals in crowded, unsanitary conditions with terrible processed "food" and little ability to move, let alone engage in natural behaviors? Not to mention that since they're all hybrids bred for production instead of health and there is zero genetic diversity, it's basically a perfect virus factory.

Chickens can get salmonella, but they aren't as badly affected by it as humans who get it. They just vomit a little and get loose stool, they need more nutrient dense foods but there is very little risk to them.

My concern with canned food is the BPA used in the lining of the cans with the risk of cancer. I have been feeding frozen raw for my around 13 year old rescue dog for over 7 years of the over 10 that I've had her. I noted a significant improvement in her coat (became much thicker) and other areas after I changed to raw frozen, and she is in very good health for her age. I also give her supplements. When I got her over 10 years ago, she was malnourished, underweight, and her coat was very thin. I feed her beef in the morning and turkey in the evening, but after this video, will probably stop the turkey for a while and only give her beef for a while until this illness, hopefully, passes.

Your dedication to your dog's care is truly admirable! But I’m curious: while you’re concerned about BPA in canned food, do you think frozen raw food is entirely safe given the rising risk of bird flu? Do you feel that stopping turkey is enough, or should additional precautions, like cooking the food, be considered? What does everyone else think about balancing long-term risks (like BPA) with short-term dangers (like bird flu) when choosing food for our pets?

Not sure how this helps w ppls decisions, but just know things are never as serious as they portray them to be. Its either a psyop or they are using it as distraction for look here not there scenario. I think the more important part is being sure to CONTINUE to DETOX your animals just as you would yourself from PARASITES and other CHEMICALS on a REGULAR basis. Use cleanses supplements and herbs/ gardens. This will boost immune system provided they do come in contact w said ailment they'll be able to fight it. PRO ACTIVE is better then RE ACTIVE. 1.) We know from rabbits that viruses harmful to rabbits (originating from wild outdoor rabbits primarily) can infect indoor rabbits that don’t ever go outside. The food is never questioned (to stop feeding rabbits raw veg is never suggested for example) but what generally is suggested of what happened if an indoor rabbit catches this disease is that a human or dog (or something with contact with the outside) walked the virus into the home after standing on something infected etc outside which the indoor rabbit then picks up. Of course there are vaccines for rabbits against this unlike bird flu but just something to note that the human may very well have had a sick bird in their garden or in their area and stood in their droppings and walked some particles of the droppings with the virus into the home.
2.) Also another thing to note is that bird flu is most prevalent for only about 3-4 months of the year (or at least here in the UK). Usually in the UK from December to March all poultry (chicken, ducks, turkey, geese, quail etc) by law have to be under a roofed area to avoid coming into contact with contaminated wild bird droppings… and although the animals don’t have the same freedom to graze freely on pastures during this time, the chances of getting sick or contaminated are reduced massively.
3.) During bird flu season you could always feed non bird raw food? (Beef, lamb, venison, boar, fish, rabbit, goat - my question mark being there as I’ve never owned a cat and unsure if this hasn’t been suggested for a reason but naming proteins I’ve seen dog raw food in) And make sure it has been frozen long enough to get rid of bacterial concern.
4.) There were many deaths in 2024 (for dogs at least) from a well known kibble company at one point and if you weren’t directly affected or in the right groups then you didn’t know because it wasn’t publicised well… one case from raw and there’s a mass boycott of all raw which is interesting (I suppose understandable though) when raw has significantly less recalls due to contamination than kibble or other similar products. But one dog owner I saw asking on a ‘ask the vet’ group said their dog suddenly got ill and has spent soo much already at the vet trying to figure out what was going on… they had recently switched to this well known poor quality kibble… not one vet on the group suggested it was the kibble, which I’d heard of dogs recently getting extremely sick on it (some sadly beyond help) and after mentioning about the contaminated kibble product that this dog had coincidentally switched to as it’s symptoms started I was banned from commenting… thankfully the person had seen the comment and acknowledged this could be the case with the time frame of switching… the sad part is that despite manyyyyy dogs d!ying and getting seriously ill suddenly (all on this product) the company never accepted blame or recalled the product allowing for an increasing number to get sick from it. People forget that just because it is cooked it can still become contaminated.
This is the hard thing with food and choosing the right food. Every single food has risk whether fresh or processed… you just have to decide for yourself what you believe to be the greatest risk and that will differ among each person. But none the less to make a decision you need as much info as one can get. It’s important to know about contaminations like this especially for those feeding the specific brand and although I don’t have a cat it definitely gets you in the state of mind to problem shoot and collect information and to think if this related to my pet species of effective ways I’d proceed on the matter to eliminate as much risk as humanly possible.

You make a very strong point in #4. The media knows who butters their bread, and sensationalism and fearmongering has become their stock in trade. The majority of the media industry now engages in tabloidesque yellow journalism.
Also, to your first point: When I made a pick up from my pork supplier (local family run farm), the subject H5N1 issue came up. He provided me with some industry insight. He stated that the contaminated beef is likely from dairy cows (the majority of beef in the US comes from dairy steers and cows that have dropped milk production) and many dairy farms also raise poultry. The workers don't take precautions when they walk from one barn to the next, and cross-contaminate from the poultry barns to the cow barns/milking parlor, such as washing their boots in a decontamination bath and that's how H5N1 gets into cow's milk and the meat. (He also assured me that they don't raise poultry.)

Thank you for this information! I have a bag of freeze-dried raw from Vital Essentials and my cat has not gotten sick from it but, for now I guess I won't buy any more raw or freeze dried Raw. That being said, you have to wonder how that whole thing would happen. It seems like they don't want animals or people to eat meat anymore. And I'm talking about the real people in charge, not our politicians!😮 I have used Northwest Naturals and I think it's a great company so I feel really badly for them!

Thank you for your reasonable take on this. The dry food companies completely ignored problems with their dog food last year. My puppy had diarrhea and vomited a little blood. Thank God I learned of the problem and switched her to another baked brand. She couldn't eat raw since she was a bit messed up. She totally improved immediately and is a great companion.

As for the raw packaged cat food. I buy fresh fish for my cat. He eats raw food. I don't like commercial foods for my animals. I make their food! Of course it's cooked. My dog eats elk, venison, wild turkey along with serious vitamins and minerals. The cat won't eat it, he prefers the cooked fish recipe. Won't eat salmon but he loves fresh yellowfin tuna, flounder and nothing else!

As a pet owner who feeds 7 cats and 4 big dogs raw food, I appreciate this video! Unfortunately, animals have also died from bad kibble, as well. I buy the raw human food and feed it to my animals. Of course, it's always a bit of a concern, but animals out in the wild would be eating whatever they could find, so I feel better about them eating what is supposed to be safe for me to eat than something cranked out in a factory. Thanks again for your tips and honesty, even on the tough subjects.

My cat is an outdoor, mousing barn and shed cat. In extreme weather (or when ever he wants) he is also our garage cat. Our garage is always above freezing. He has a bed and litter box in there. And he keeps the mice at bay that try to move in the garage. Anyway, he has no schedule for eating. If I feed him raw meat or canned food, he may eat a few bites, then he is off on an adventure. By the time he is ready to eat again, the food is not appealing to him. If it is summer time, the flies would have already been at it. So dry food is not wasted. (Unless some other critter gets to it) I can give him the dry food and it can set a while without spoiling. And he does hunt. ALOT. And he does eat some of his ‘victims’ and some he just brings to leave at my door. Sometimes it is only part of the victims. He even leaves me bugs he has caught. Or parts of bugs. lol As a very young rescued kitten, I fed him canned food until he got big enough to begin roaming our farm and he started leaving his canned food to spoil while he spent more and more of his time roaming our farm. The barn is his favorite place. But I feed him on our screened in porch, to keep him coming to the house and to help other critters from eating his expensive food.

2005, my five-year-old ragdoll ended up with diabetes. Totally my fault I had been feeding science diet in 1984 and I never read the ingredients again. Way before the Internet. But yeah, they used to say hills was the best and that’s what I gave my kids and I never read the ingredients afterwards and they sure went ! So until my kitty became diabetic and realized there’s 40 carbs in that meal that she was eating. When they should be eating one to three carbs. They got Hills wet and dry both even the wet was full of junk. I was so ashamed I became a huge pet food advocate after that and nobody I mean nobody got by me without me giving him my input lol😂. My Kitty was a trooper. She was insulin independent for over 11 years. My vet had never seen anything like it. Why because I fed her the right food unlike the food my vet wanted me to give her, and I made sure she got her injections on time. I never went anywhere and I never had a life because I couldn’t trust anybody but me to take care of her give her insulin or give her some Q fluids as needed.
So I do feed my kids fussy cat chicken in a pouch and Stella & Chewy freeze dried. So this does make me nervous, but I bought everything before the bird flu started hitting because I buy ahead when it’s on sale.

Thank you for the alert! My solution is to cook the raw petfood I buy until the bird flu danger has passed. We were well alerted to its coming, for those of us who feed raw, we are already diligent, we must keep up with our research and diligence for our pet's health. I'll continue to support the companies I buy from. I researched them so carefully and I know Northwest Naturals tries very hard to do a good job. I'm sorry this happened to them, I hope they can track the farm that was the source of the bird flu through their batch labeling. Even with this terrible event, they've caused by far less illness and death than the kibble companies have. In 50+ years of animal care and rescue, I've personally watched cats and dogs (and farm animals) suffer and die from poor feed and kibble - especially early liver and kidney disease and failure. Top that off with the massive increase in obesity and diabetes due to kibble I've seen in the last 30 years. I started my own pet food/nutrition research decades ago and transitioned first to fresh cooked, then slowly to fresh cooked and raw (I work something up for each individual animal). Yowsa, the increased energy, the shiny fur, the limb and tooth health!!! And - their enthusiasm for better quality, better tasting food!! All off the charts. So yes, I'll continue buying and supporting the raw food companies I use (Viva Raw, Northwest naturals, Primal, and a local dog food "chef"). I'll just thoroughly cook the food and watch the package dates until this isn't an issue. Cassian is sooo Hamsom!!! Best wishes to you and yours Doc Jones

I also use viva raw for my dogs -- wonderful food (although as a vegan it personally grosses me out 🤪). Between seeing this video and the other video talking about how liver can actually cause liver disease and knowing Viva has liver in it, I was getting a little disheartened on both accounts. But seeing your comment is somewhat comforting because I lightly cook it for my dogs, anyway, as they seem to like it better that way. I wish I had learned of all of its benefits when my older dog, who is seven now, was a puppy. He has a collapsing trachea, dental issues, luxating patellas, and, apparently, mitral valve disease. I went through a horribly expensive runaround in June with false diagnoses and one of the three vets told me his valve is enlarged and he has slight regurge and said "but that's typical for chihuahuas." So I left believing that was just a thing, not understanding it's actually heart disease until I looked it up six months later and all his compounded issues seemed to worsen. He's also had bouts of strange liver numbers throughout his life and his poops have always looked weird. On viva, his poops are consistently normal and there's a marked change in energy. I am absolutely convinced that had I known when he was a puppy, some of the things that he has could have been slowed down or prevented.

Thank you for sharing. I have my regrets too. But our lives with our animals and care for them is a lifelong education. I make myself say that when I have those thoughts. I know I cared so much for my fur babies, and I sure can tell you do too. You are so ahead of the game because of how much you care. Our fur babies dont know most of what we did wrong - they DO know the love we feel and show. Another thought to consider - your sweet little pup loves to see you smile and be happy. Keep learning, even from the mistakes, and take it from here. And let your little pup give you the magical gift of sweeping away sadness over our well meaning mistakes, and living the happiest we can with what we got, today, this minute. Go give a cuddle, but also look into his face and smile and laugh or giggle. See what he does. If he loves it as much as I think he does, remember to look through his eyes, sweep regrets away and let his heart be so happy to see you happy. What these wonderful fur kids do for our lives - it’s out of this world. Best of wishes from here in your continued journey with your learning and loving all of them. 💕

I totally agree! I’ve been feeding all three of my cats raw cornish hen for the last 4+ years, with all the bones and the juices. I thaw it out on the counter thru the night or during the day, then pop it in the fridge if I’m not using it right away. Once I break open the package you can always tell how fresh it is. I learned how to butcher it down quickly into really big bite size chunks, maybe sometimes even the size of a tiny mouse. The bones are soft enough for them to chew up and swallow. So they eat the meat, the skin and the bones… all of it. And they love licking up all the juices! Sometimes we get lucky and there’s organs in a separate bag inside the cavity so I make sure they get those too. There’s so many nutrients they need in the organs and the fat. Although I’ve also learned the hard way that if you give them too much secreting organ and/or fat they will have super soft stools. But a lot of their nutrients come from the fat and organs as well so don’t skip out on that and just give them lean meats.
If I ever feed my cats any lean meat like canned chicken (which is typically just breast meat) or canned tuna I try to supplement it by mixing it with egg yolks so they get the fat and the other nutrients and calories. We call it chicken or tuna salad because the yolks are kinda like the mayo lol 😂
If you don’t supplement with animal fat they will eventually become nutritionally and calorically deficient and starved.
Sometimes I’ll cook them skin on, bone in chicken breast, thighs, drummies and wings in the oven, no salt and give that to them. Cooked bones can be hazardous so I just keep an eye on them when they’re eating. It’s actually highly discouraged, but that’s what I do.
Every now and then I’ll have some baby mice shipped (called pinkies), or ground rabbit (the whole carcass). I’m personally not ready to give them whole prey mice yet. Would love to order quail for them some day soon.
Based off my experience and knowledge, raw meat is much much better for their health than cooked.
And cooked meat is much better than kibble. Kibble is just a form of cereal… or soon nothing but pet cereal! it’s very similar to feeding your kids cereal.
It’s now being shown that humans don’t do well eating too many carbs and cats are even more sensitive to carbs… they don’t do well at all on them. They will for sure eventually develop diabetes, kidney disease, cancer and/or so many other insulin driven diseases. Cats are obligate carnivores.
I totally agree with most of this video. Fortunately I have never had my cats get any sicknesses. They are all healthy and thriving! Good luck to everyone with your pet babies! 💛💛💛

Thanks for that heads up, I tend to feed raw food from the meat section in the stores, I often have to freeze much of it, then I thaw it out in my Russian Pyramid frame to give back most of what the freezing takes out, harmful bacteria tends to be weakened by the pyramid frequency but I'm not trusting just that alone by any means, these days thanks to your notice I'll be scanning everything I give my cat with my pendulum, if it rocks I'll know it's safe, Radiathesic testing as you know! 🤗

My cat got overweight on hills lite at age 9. Feeding less than the recommended daily amount. Got feline diabetes. Go figure.
Insulin for 30 days with a complete raw diet for the rest of his life and in remission til the day he died, he went over the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 19 years + on 10 August 2024 from an unrelated issue ie cancer.
I spend 1 day a month, well ½ a day really, prepping and making Dr Lisa Pierson's raw cat food diet. Healthy cats who don't need a vet, and I know exactly what's going into their tummies.
I'd rather sacrifice a day a month to make their food for 6 weeks than have to spend time trying to heal them from CKD FD etc which is totally avoidable if they eat a species appropriate diet.
Cassie reminds me of my precious child who could snuggle all day and give gentle kisses without asking.
