      I’m not sure he did this as this is something new, cause there are other ways to buy subs but not through UA-cam. I do fully believe that more than a few in the ToyTube community are doing it tho 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I know a person that did this. And his videos have very little views and hardly any comments. You can definitely tell a channel is organically put together when there are tons of comments and likes on your videos.

    • @Apunkwithtoys
      @Apunkwithtoys  3 місяці тому +4

      Exactly, and this is something people don’t get. Even if you get monetized and you can earn money, but if people don’t like you, they’re not gonna watch.

      I know a girl and guy right now I can show you their channels and they have opposite results. The key is your content has to be engaging. For example: a good thumbnail, good editing, good audio and visual quality etc. it’s the same as Any other ad that companies run. No offense but the guy in this video makes content that most people will click on watch for a couple of seconds because it’s very niche unlike something like gaming or music. The people that watch these ads are real people but to get people to comment or like, you have to give them a reason to. Same a subscribing. The guy that made the song “my heart goes” actually blew up and became famous by running ads

      Thank you. From my understanding this is new for UA-cam (past year) but people have been buying subs in other ways for a long time. I found this interesting when I learned about it and wanted to do a video. Now I have to recoup that $20 I spent 😂

    This is crazy man I can't believe they allow this. But this has got to push YTs ad revenue numbers like crazy.

      It just pushes your content out right in front of people, and UA-cam gets to pocket the money.

      Sadly people already are, and UA-cam allows it so why not let everyone know they can. It doesn’t change my feelings that this is a way to pay yourself on the back but you still haven’t learned to make content that draws people in. Thank you for the kind words

    Interesting. Thanks for doing this. I had heard of getting subs/views/interactions through third parties for any social media. Seems smart for Google to take the money directly instead of letting others get it. I don't care if people do this or not. I did find one channel a long time ago when they ran a targeted ad on UA-cam. People find different things different ways.
    Hope you have a good day.

    • @Apunkwithtoys
      @Apunkwithtoys  3 місяці тому

      There are many ways to look at it, but I think what drives people nuts is when someone is bragging about all the subs they’re getting and they’re buying them. People are busting their ass trying to grow and then one person blows past them and you find out he’s cheating. Again, for advertising a show that you want for a broad audience, I actually understand this.

  • @thetitan914

    Very interesting. I've never bothered to look into the nuts and bolts of how "channels" work in YT. I think this is glorious..... I mean a glorious train wreck in the making as it seems to me that this will hurt YT's business model in the long run.

  • @everythingsplastic

    Don’t like the idea of buying subs, maybe it’s just me. More pride in building something than buying something. Definitely noticed a lot of channels growing super fast and no views to show for it.
    That being said I did go all in on posting 2-3 shorts a day. Had zero impact on my long form content. Now I barely get a hundred views. Shorts are an easy way to get subs but to any one starting a channel with long form content you’re probably better avoiding them. Wanna save money and gain subs naturally then shorts are the way to go.

    • @Apunkwithtoys
      @Apunkwithtoys  2 місяці тому +1

      I agree with everything you said about buying subs. Now as for shorts, as long as the shorts you’re posting have to do with the content you’re making, they shouldn’t hurt your channel.

    • @everythingsplastic
      @everythingsplastic 2 місяці тому +1

      @@Apunkwithtoys seen it posted a while back that UA-cam was adjusting the algorithm so that shorts would have a positive impact on long form content. Quite a few channels claiming that shorts had a negative impact on their long form content. Some even say that it killed their channel, But Who knows for sure lol. I do a lot of random and older figures so I’m not sure my channel would be a good example.
      But thanks for making the video. Was curious to see what the promotion feature was all about. Not enough to spend money on it though haha. Interesting to see the outcome and what it’s all about though. 👍

    • @Apunkwithtoys
      @Apunkwithtoys  3 місяці тому

      Many people don’t comment unless you say something wrong, that’s when they come out with pitchforks. Conversely when you are a big part of the community people will comment to say “good video” cause they like you and enjoy what you do.

  • @JoePal-c3n

    When I had an old channel and had thousands of subs UA-cam finds a way to block as well as remove subs. So we don’t get as many views. Plus someone else would get a million views when they up loaded one of my vids where I would get 100,000 views for the same vid. Plus back when you tube paid you would only get like $200 a month so your vids would have to get millions of views everyday to make money. So I don’t even have monetize channel I just make videos for fun because I enjoy G.I. Joe and all the other cool O-ring action lines

    • @Apunkwithtoys
      @Apunkwithtoys  3 місяці тому

      Well UA-cam does get rid of non active users and bots that have subed to channels, but yes they also remove legit ones at times too. Now as for the money issue, channels and content are always different with how they pay and I haven’t fully figured that one out yet.

    How can be a cheating way if UA-cam is that one that promotes your video ? So any singers that seeks helps by a record company or any other way to promote themselves are all cheaters. Your example is wrong. Now what is cheating is when you buy subscribers outside UA-cam.

    the subscribe Model has failed bad I htink this could be beficial for those looking to reach number for to get in the lower tear of where you get channel members and super chat and such , I dont recomend this as a way to build the entire channel at all but I have channels that have been stuck for a long time they have thousands of subs not enough view hours we get a few video that go wild through each year but then things fall back the views drop off and its that up hill battle again .
