    I bought a used 2019 Sedona and love it. It is stylish and roomy and thousands cheaper than the Japanese pair. Ignore the negative comments and spend your spare change on your kids education rather than on their transportation. You won’t regret it.

    These dudes are so shady ova the kia brand.....smh.....I could of sworn Honda and Toyota has been having the most issues with NHTSA and lawsuits left and right. Honda styling is very odd and how small the Odyssey has gotten ova da yrs. Toyota styling of the Sienna gets dated quit due to the lack of redesigns. Kia attempt of revamping the mini-van segment and calling it something else is unique. The Sedona has always been lacking style and features for price. The redesign was long-ova due and has been impressive with a similarity of Sienna on the side.

    18:24 video and its stated in the title Kia Sedona and Toyota Sienna. You guys talked about the Damn HONDA! more than the 2 damn minivans you have behind you! Then the last half was all about random cars. why not talk about the 2 vans you have in the title holy god worst show ive seen.

    Honda Odyssey has recalls. It looks like the undertaker pimped his ride. The case against the Sedona is weak. An in van video system is superfluous and cumbersome when hand held devices are affordable. I don't need to take out seats because I don't do side jobs moving furniture.

    When are these folks going to update their review or opinion regarding the mini vans? What they said about the Kia Sedona is totally wrong and It clearly looks like these gentleman just got the Kia Sedona, briefly drove it and then parked it behind them to do this video.
    I just purchased a 2020 Kia Sedona EX and this is one of the nicest cars I have ever owned. The feel and comfort is just SUPER. They said that "in the suspension department the Kia Sedona really falls behind"??? What were they smoking back then? There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Sedona's suspension it rides really really well like half car half mini van and my new Sedona is lightyears cooler and nicer than my 2007 Sienna and to me the design interior and exterior the Sedona is much cooler than Honda and Toyota. Don't get me wrong, the Honda and Sienna have their pros and cons, but for these guys to say that the Kia Sedona's suspension is really "behind" there is something really wrong there and I have no clue what they are talking about because I have also test driven all mini vans.
    I have a 2007 Toyota Sienna and although my Toyota is rock solid and is still running great without any complaints I cannot say that about the newer Sienna because a family member of mine has one and the plastics are really cheap inside and out and around the seats all the plastic covers are completely busted. I would never buy the existing ugly over priced Honda and Sienna and I see myself buying another Kia Sedona when my Toyota Sienna dies. The place where Kia put the gear shifter is GENIOUS and I love it. I really hate where all the rest of the mini vans have their shifter, and the ugliest of them all is the Chrysler Pacifica. I will never buy a car with a round know speed shifter.
    At least one of the gentleman confessed that he is "biased" towards the Honda so maybe personal feelings (and maybe money) are more involved here instead of facts.

    Me and my friends rented a 2013 Grand Caravan, drove it from Edmonton Alberta to Seattle, Portland, and the pacific highway to LA. Was awesome, tons of power in the mountains, amazing on gas, 5 of us and luggage, prob 1,000lbs total on the van, couldn't tell with that powerful engine, and was comfortable! If I bought a van, would buy the dodge!

    The second row not coming out is a bad decision. Sometimes you might want to get sheets of plywood or wallboard flat on the floor, or move a long cabinet or something. The Nissan Quest is worse. No seats fold into the floor and no seats remove. They do fold to make a flat floor like a station wagon.

    Driving a Mini van is my Automotive hell. At 6.5 feet tall surprisingly most minivans are very cramped for me as a driver and passenger.They are expensive too often running into 40 large. At that price range give me a base X3, Q5 ,Durango or the excellent Chevrolet Transverse. If you must have a minivan. If you are much over 6 feet the Dodge Caravan is the ONLY way to go. You can get a nice one for under 30 grand. The Honda Odyssey is also wonderful if you can afford it and are under this short to ride.

    i know most of you guys love the mazda 3 but one thing i think you guys overlook too much is long term reliability. one reason i chose my 2013 civic last year was that the JD powers long term reliability ratings were so much better for the civic compared to other cars in that class. (also, my 2003 civic was the best car i've owned, BY FAR. i spent about $200 on non-maintenance repairs over the first 10 yrs of the car). people are keeping their cars a lot longer these days. long term reliability really matters!

      I have owned 4 civics and I run them past 200k. My current civic 07 has 180k miles and I swore never to buy Honda again. Other than engine and transmission everything is failing. Bearing have been broke n 3 times. Each time it is 1200-2k cost. My 99 civic had serious brake problems which would fail unexpectedly

    There still are some wonderful driving realistically priced BMWs. The X1 with AWD is a wonderful suv thingy to drive. It corners flat has excellent hydraulic steering and is very punchy with good throttle response in base form. The RWD X1 has electric steering. If you can get past the lifeless steering the X3 is a wonderful drive also. Especially when you push it hard. The BMW 2 is a very excellent driving car but not as good as the last 2013 128i. BMW really dialed that car in for its last year.

    Hi guys, I am looking for a Japanese luxury sports sedan/coupe (either is fine) ,partial to coupe, because if I am going to have no usable backseat the car might as well look good. Right now I am torn between new Lexus is 350 RWD (No hump) / RC 350 and Infinity q50/60. I am looking for a long term ownership and thus am a bit wary of domestic or German brands for the dealership and reliability headaches. My budget is around $45,000 Thoughts?

    I recently purchased a 2011 BMW 328i xDrive 6 speed manual (E90) and the owner's manual says to use AKI 91 (highly recommended) but goes on to say a minimum of 87 octane is "recommended" if not using 91 octane gasoline. Any thoughts on what gas I should be buying? Is premium fuel a gimmick? And does anyone know how many vehicle models actual require premium fuel?

    • @ThePointblank
      @ThePointblank 9 років тому

      If your car calls for premium, use premium. What the manual said was that if premium wasn't available, get 87 octane, as some areas in the US offer 85 octane.

    All I have read is, my suv is awesomer and moster safer, and thats way too expensive for a Kia. Which I understand it is sad to think a Kia is out of your price range but that Kia (which I do not own but have atleast been in) has more room than my Suburban thanks to the height and smart placement of their spare tire, 5 star safety including small overlap head on, active collision avoidance system, idiot in a SUV driving in my blind spot detection, park assist, and as for the "why have tv in vehicles.....take a trip with kids and you will never question the power of sponge bob.

    my sienna is the worst vehicle I have ever owned .Toyota had to repaint it , replace the 2 front seats , the seat belt is now broken and the seat behind the passenger seat will no longer come out . the van is unstable so the camber is set and you can't get more than 25000 miles out of a set of tires . my steering column is now broken and Toyota won't help at all as I am just over 36000 miles ...thers us your sienna review ..I am 64 years old and have had many cars ...this has been a nightmare !

    Same displacement makes the engine same? Didn't the engine output change from last engine to this one. I believe the last one was rated at 163 lbft and the new one is 180 something. That an appreciable amount of additional torque from the same displacement. I know their are trolls out there, but that doesn't mean you stop doing your homework and start beating down on every comment. If you don't like comments you can disable but be respectful of valid legit comments.

    Minivans nowadays r too big. I miss the first generation minivan of Honda. It was smaller, but big enough to haul people and things, easy to drive & park, and it was much cheaper (about $25K). I'm in market for a minivan, but hate to pay 33-35K for it. I may end up getting a SUV w AWD, but I want sliding doors for kids. I'm in dilemma.

    Mini-Vans should just be called Vans because there's nothing mini about them. In other countries they're called MPVs or Multi-Purpose Vehicles. Remember when the Dodge Caravan, Honda Odyssey & Nissan Quest were much smaller than Ford Econolines? Not anymore, they're full-size, packed with features like built-in refrigerators, tv screens, vacuum cleaners, and cup holders/storage bins galore . The only true Mini-Van in the U.S. market is the Mazda5, which is erroneously referred to as the "Mini-Mini-Van" even though it's about the size of the first Odyssey.

    • @emjayay
      @emjayay 9 років тому

      The first Odyssey was much smaller than the original Dodge Caravan minivan and didn't even have sliding doors. Current minivans are around the length of the extended original Dodge Caravans but are wider and heavier. Of course they also have a lot more stuff in them. Vans in the US were much larger rear wheel drive vehicles, with much higher floors because of the driveshaft and live rear axle. They are finally going away in favor of European and Japanese designs. So it's kind of a legacy thing because of what we used to call just-vans.

    Cars have gotten more bloated over the years because: (1) we Americans have gotten "bigger" (2) features & options demanded by focus groups (3) mpg, emissions & safety regulations by the governing agencies & insurance, and (4) performance requirements desired by enthusiasts. Sure, an old '90s Geo Metro got 40 - 50 mpg, but it sorely lacked safety features, and weighed from 500 to 1000 pounds less than a modern sub-compact. Would you want to be caught dead in one, literally?
