VV is such a 'shiny-polished" album and one of ma favest too.I had bought this about 2-3 times on vynil and twice on cassete.I melt them on my turntable and tape.And i always loved its silvery blue cover.

This one regained popularity when it got featured in the Mamma Mia 2 movie.Later on,youngsters started some kinda tik tok sped up version craze that spread its trend and caused some buzz.
Another great reaction Chase. I highly recommend "If it Wasn't for The Nights" - another orchestrated instrumental harmonic overdrive song that only ABBA can do. Love experiencing your joyous reaction listening to these treasures. ABBA never made a bad song.

As has been said previously, each song is recognisably ABBA yet sounds unlike any other ABBA song! I know of an exception: "Happy Hawaii" and "Why did It have to be Me?". Same tune, vastly different lyrics!
Yes those 2 songs have the same melody just different lyrics. Have you seen the animated version? It's pretty awesome. They were gonna make a cartoon series of ABBA. It supposed to be sort of like the old Jossie and the Pussycats cartoons. They even did voice overs. It didn't materialize though for some reason Happy Hawii and Money Monet Money were as far as they got. You can Google it to see.

If you loved this one, then "As Good As New" will blow your hat off. It's the same energy and a great song that never was released as a single, but it should have been. I'm 100 % sure that you will love it.

And again the high note backing vocals are superb, there are videos and tracks available with the backing vocals enhanced, Dancing Queen especially,they sound brilliant. You should listen to them.
Younger Gen is quite familiar with it similar way has happened with 'Chiquitita"'s outro,''Dancing Queen"s one breath challenge,'Gimme Gimme Gimme"and other Abba songs featured on tik tok.

If you can get around to it sometime , "I Still Have Faith In You" is worth a review ,it's off of their latest Album Voyage. I think it's a must to review it with the official video though as it also tells their story. Keep up the great work.

Frida's performance here is considered by many to be one of her best with a phenomenal vocal performance. And Benny goes crazy on the piano as usual.

One song you can put on your list of future Abba reactions is Hey Hey Helen which is from their Abba album released in 1975. The same album that Mamma Mia and S.O.S. is from. Hey Hey Helen is s bit heavier, I'm sure you'd like that one too. There is a tv performance on YT with it. But in your own time, no rush. There's some funky songs on their Waterloo album too.
A great disco dance song of theirs is "if it wasn't for the nights" super. The japanese live tv version is best. The costumes (Frida looks like a red headed wonder woman lol) and set are fantastic
Funny thing about the lyrics of many of ABBA's 'happy songs' is that they are in fact very dark :)

Benny is one of the few song writers who could write songs from another person's perspective. The only one who, I think, could do this better is Kasey Chambers. Check out her song "Paper Aeroplanes". There are many more where she does the same thing, but this one struck my heart, when my wife died.
so i'm not trying to be a nuisance but it's 2am and you have me all pumped up on ABBA so...not making requests but some ABBA songs i love include Intermezzo no 1 (instrumental), I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, Suzy Hangaround, Sitting in The Palmtree, Hey Hey Helen. No request but maybe take a listen in your off time, you might like.
Once again, a seeming upbeat song about a moody subject. There's a cover version by the Czars that focuses the melancholy feelings instead. Worth checking out.

I read somewhere where they said something about it being in a strange key. If you listen carefully, especially in the verses, Frida and Agnetha are singing one octave apart.
I love Abba and I love I do, I do, I do ,I do, I do - especially Made in Sweden on the Adrian Leon channel - it hasn't many views but the setting is beautiful
