Honestly, I was expecting to have to be "that guy" and bring up "Night of the Batmen," as I thought it was just too obscure for anyone to remember, but then I get to 11:15. Well played Watchtower Database, well played.
The "elseworlds" comics that spun off of the various DCAU shows kind of remind me of the Ben 10,000 episodes of the various Ben 10 shows. That is that each of them reflected what was currently out, but wouldn't necessarily fit with future content.
14:48 OK, connect Balki to Hanna Montana ----- GO!!!!! OK, so Harriet Winslow was actually created on the show "Perfect Strangers". She was "spun-off" on her own show, "Family Matters", which was hijacked by some kid named Urkel. That Urkel kid appeared on a show called "Step By Step" and met the Lambert family. (who claimed that she looked like some other girl he once knew) Mr. Mosby knows these two twin brothers who once lived in a hotel and considered it a "Suite Life". and finally, guess who once visited that hotel and met those two twins ------------- "HANNA MONTANA!!!!!!!" But the big question is -------- where does Kevin Bacon fit in to all of this???????
I've always figured that Adventures In The DC Universe is actually an adventures style anthology taking place in the main DCU. The problem is the annual crossover both confirms and disproves this theory because none of the Adventures writers knew which universe they were doing half the time.
Coolio played a voice in the DCAU but also appeared in Batman & Robin, which featured a blink-and-you'll miss it graffiti of Shaggy from Scooby-Doo during the motorcycle chase and a reference to Superman working alone and IT'S ALL CONNECTED!!!!
Adam West's Batman has also crossed over with the Addams Family and Hogan's Heroes. Colonel Hogan of Hogan's Heroes is also mentioned in the show Green Acres, which means Batman is also connected to The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, and Mister Ed. The 60s were weird.
There actually being possible alternate earths in the real world while at the same time talking about other DCAU alternate universes, this episode will be absolutely amazing.
According to Dan DiDio, after the "52" mini-series, each alternate Earths in the new multiverse has their own parallel dimensions, divergent timelines, microverses, etc branching off of them. So one possibility is that only the DCAU comics branched out from Earth-12, sort of its own mini-multiverse, while non-DCAU properties exist outside of it but are probably near enough for easy access between universes.
"Alternate Batmans?" "Wouldn't the plural be Batmen?" "But which one is the real Batmen?" Damn, I love Robot Chicken References! The video was fabulous! Thank you!
Funny enough Robot Chicken also did that same joke with He-Man and Faker. They love that joke I guess. Long live the Robot Chicken DC Specials. Either the people who work on them really know their stuff or they do months of deep research. Some of them have some pretty deep cuts. Chillblaine? No one remembers Chillblaine. :)
Sorry for the confusion, I was just paraphrasing the He-Man joke. But You're right about the DC specials. They and the Star Wars ones make up most of my favorite Robot Chicken moments.
DC is the reason why I'm never confused with multiverse related media. DC Done it a lot of times, that I just understand the concept. The size however, i can never picture
As a thought based on the Turtles branch of the tree - Turtles are a direct tribute to Daredevil: same chemical that made murdock blind made the turtles mutants - foot=hand etc.
Ah thank ____ you covered this. I've been getting snippets of DC shows in my suggestions and when I started noticing things, I started thinking about what is linked to what. Just glad you lot are DCAU focused because I'd have to ask an Arrowverse question and I'd rather youse DIDN'T have another mental breakdown.
I want a t-shirt of "Star Labs - jesus hamilton, get it together" Also you could have mentioned the ever changing line-ups of the "Superfriends" and with the character changes each season could technically beget its own universe.
I really admire you guys when you do videos such like these ,you guys take the time from your lives to research these tidbits and facts for DCAU fans such as myself ,we appreciate the work you guys put in ,continue the hard work.
The Lego Batman Movie is a parralel of Batman TAS,and is an extension of the Lego Movie part 1 and 2, and connected to the Lego Batman Video Game Franchise.Being Connected from the DLC's with The Bizzarro League,Arrow,Suicide Squad,Dark Knight Trilogy,Adam Wesrt Batman Series and Batman Beyond. Also Lego DC SuperVillains(my favorite)is an parralel of the Forever Evil Arc,having it's own Earth 3, Crossed Over with The new Shazzam Movie(also the DC EU),Arrow,Flash TV Series,Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow,Aquaman(Movie),etc. In Lego Batman 3 you have actors as Adam West and Kevin Smith as lego characters. This video was really fun. I wish we saw more of the Justice Guild, I got a Tom Turbine action figure from Vintage Stock recently, really made me happy. Wish I found a Green Guardsman one though!!!
I always thought of the Lords Universe as not-really-alternate-universe but more like an alternate timeline, because it seems like the period they're in in the Lordsverse is later in time than the Leagueverse, due to Luthor having already been elected. I always truly believed The Question *collective groan from the Founding Members* about it being a timeloop.
OH Brother!!!! I’m having a problem fellowing everything you’ve said??? But the Multiverse has different variations of heroes villains and it’s a fun reading a fun thing to watch
Welp I didn't think the DCAU multiverse would be this cluttered... but hey there's always a time for me to be proven wrong; so thank you guys for enlightening me and making my brain hurt trying to follow this huge mess. Great video by the way.
You forgot the Lego Batman verse( which you made a visual reference to) and the Lego Batman movie verse, which crosses over with Lego Batman in Lego dimensions(a Lego WB multiverse game)
Angor was originally an Alien planet from Earth-One, but after Crisis on Infinite Earths, Angor became an alternative dimension from New Earth, instead of being an Parallel Earth (that was because there wasn’t a Multiverse anymore). But after Infinity Crisis, Angor became an parallel Earth known as Earth-8. After Flashpoint Angor became Earth 8, and it the same time Earth 7 was an attempt to recreate Earth 8.
So in a way, we also have a connection to Power Rangers twice. One through the Justice League crossover comic (I'm using the thought process that these shows are presenting of "If a Batman exists, he's part of a multi-verse") and another through... the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Although that one's kinda left in the air as to whether the live action TMNT stuff is connected to the animated stuff, but hey, if the Ninja Turtles can exist in the same space as Power Rangers, anything is likely to be possible.
Add Super Sentai, and Space Sheriff Gavan, and Kamen Rider to the mix, they've had their american counterparts (Gavan appearing in someway in Beast Morphers)
All of fiction can be linked together if you work hard enough at it. Lotta stuff links and therefore exist in the same multiverse even though two completely different universes haven't crossed over they could probably be tied to the same property that has crossed with both of them. The only question is, are _all_ those links that could be found canon? Well when it comes to multiverse with infinite possibilities. "It doesn't really matter."
If the DCAU is connected to the Nick Turtles, which belongs to it's own multiverse that includes the original Mirage Comics TMNT, who were created by the same accident that gave Matt Murdock (Daredevil) his powers, then that means that the DC Multiverse is connected to Marvel's own. Don't you just love this kind of stuff?
This was awesome. But I’d like to add this. If the DCAU is connected to the DC multiverse, then there is a connection to the Marvel Comics multiverse (read JLA/Avengers). That being said a character from the Transformers comics (also from Marvel) named Death's Head was transported from that universe to the mainstream Marvel universe (Earth-616) by none other than the Doctor (Doctor Who). I swear this really happened. Not some terrible fan fiction. Transformers has its own multiverse and crosses over with the other properties of IDW Publishing (TMNT, G.I. Joe, Sonic the Hedgehog, and more) Sonic also has a multiverse and connect with Super Smash Bros and all related properties. And finally Doctor Who has too many crossovers to list here.
Have any of these shows fit in to the snow globe? Like did 6 million dollar man or bionic woman fit into there ever? Because just the slightest touch could mean this entire thing is all a part of the snow globe multiverse.
The pre justice leauge cartoon marketing push in coloring books and kids meals is another unverse. That might just be an extension of adventures in the dc universe given the similarites.
7:54 according to multiversity, yes. All comics in a universe are another's accounts of history. At least in the comics multiverse, but I can see that working for the DCAU too.
And Archie crossed over with the predator who is in the same universe as alien and punisher. Archie also crossed over with Sabrina the teenage witch , Sabrina crossed over with the sonic comics and the sonic comics crossed over with Daniaca Patrick and mega man.
Actually commenting here and leaving a like is super easy, barely an inconvenience....which is good as my brain was turned into mush comprehending all this.
17:53 Loved that mentioned the Batman '66/Wonder Woman '77 crossovers! I'm working on created my own timeline for the Batman '66 universe! Love that you included the Cole Sprouse Jughead clip too! If want to hear some of my ideas or something, let me know! Here's a blog I'm working on: batman66universebatblog.tumblr.com/
@@mattiesavannahpahl9934 I also figured that George Reeves Superman is also in that universe given that his Clark Kent makes a cameo in the final issue of the Batman '66 series.
I'd love to see Homer Simpson call Tom Turbine a nerd to his face. The next scene would be Homer screaming "AAAAHHHHH!!!!" as he flies over a building and the Green Guardsman catches him (as long as he doesn't have any aluminum on him). Then Marge and Black Siren laugh and go bake cookies. :P Just two questions to make you go literally insane: #1 - If Batman is in the Scooby-Verse which is in the Hanna-Barbera-Verse, then which Earth is associated with Space Ghost? #2 - Since Spider-Man referenced The Tick in Spider-Man TAS, what Earth does The Tick live on?
“As an expert in nuclear physics, I have hypothesised the existence of multiple parallel universes” I love the throwback to Silver Age comics, where being a “scientist” no matter what field just makes you a genius at all science
By this logic, then every single piece of fiction from across time is connected in some way, and therefore, it all exists due to the Multiverse Theory... My brain hurts already.
Honestly by the time of the Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths, they'll probably introduce some old show as part of their continuity again just like with the 90s Flash series. Could be one that connects with the DCAU and therefore all these points in continuity.
A little late here, but considering the vast number of crossovers and media cameos that exist one could easily create a Omniverse map in which everything exists. It would be impossibly huge, but I'd love to see someone try. At the very least I'd like someone to make sense of the Scooby Doo Multiverse.
To cut down on confusion I wouldn't put the comics and animation in the same multi-verse. Unless they are comics in some way tied to anything animation wise. You already get universes based off those comic universes which are basically the same thing. Until you get to tmnt and dc crossover. Which is basically two different multi-verses. In actuality it really happens to four different multi-verses, two animation, and two comics. Two dc, and two tmnt respectively. I'm just attempting to make since of this madness.
Just want to say, this is the best video you guys have put out in a long time, and I mean that in the best way. I have liked every video you have made, but this feels special. Seems like taking a break for a bit worked wonders. Great job!

At yet another time, "Jessie" met some guy named Mr. Mosby.
(who claimed that she looked like some other girl he once knew)
Mr. Mosby knows these two twin brothers who once lived in a hotel
and considered it a "Suite Life".
and finally, guess who once visited that hotel and met those two twins -------------
"HANNA MONTANA!!!!!!!"
But the big question is -------- where does Kevin Bacon fit in to all of this???????
The seams are tearing, any minute the dark ones will burst into our universe.
So what you’re telling me is...there’s an alternate universe where the DCAU is real, and this UA-cam channel is basically a history channel?
"You get to choose who you are" hit me in a really weird way and was surprisingly life-affirming.
I love the spiraling decent into madness across this video.
Then you'll love the rest of our storyline! The "I've Got Mattie in My Basement" playlist!
This is the Smash Ultimate of videos for this channel.
A notification about a Watchtower Database video on the Multiverse? Never clicked faster!
Darn you I was totally about to mention Gods and Monsters but no once again you are one step ahead of us
You missed Gods and Monsters, anything drawn by DC drawn by Bruce Timm is in the multiverse, amateurs! Lol jk love you guys
And somehow I'm sure this is all inside the mind of Tommy Westphall.
I’ve met your car salesman double! He sold me a great car, sadly it got towed away to a parallel dimension!
Also Earth 66, home of the Adam West Batman was featured in the Cws Crisis on Infinite Earths. So the arrowverse does have connections to the DCAU
"Alternate Batmans?"
"Wouldn't the plural be Batmen?"
"But which one is the real Batmen?" Damn, I love Robot Chicken References!
@@Applepoisoneer Yeah, I've been meaning to buy them on blu ray or DVD.
Most impressive writing, perspective, and depth. The plucky duck batman was so dope. I remember having a Happymeal toy of it.
To summarize the video, The Doctor put it best when he said,
“Wibbly Wobbly, timey wimey”
"It's all a bunch of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey... stuff."
11:17 Bottom left, I like that the Dark Knight Returns design mirrors the "Legends of the Dark Knight" animated episode.
Thank you! We appreciate commenters like you!
Finnaly you can do a mission on Ysmaut for Lantern Duck Doogers
After seeing all of this, a crazy idea poped into my head. A DCAU without the "bat-embargo" *dramatic music plays*
We’ve actually done a video all about this! ua-cam.com/video/kFXfQ1nr0WI/v-deo.html
You forgot the Lego Batman verse(
which you made a visual reference to)
and the Lego Batman movie verse, which crosses over with Lego Batman in Lego dimensions(a Lego WB multiverse game)
So basically DC is in every multiverses
Holy shit lol this got out of hand and I was not expecting so many of these universes possibly being connected.
This video was absolute madness! XD
5:57 “All these things I can do. All these powers...”. Nice Superman: The Movie reference there.
Great intro with a classic Homer moment XD and great content as usual
You missed something. At 15:46 there’s a lego Superman. You know what video game LEGO Superman appeared in? That’s right, Lego Dimensions
This ended up being far more complicated than I thought it would be.
Well in Injustice 2 has TMNT as DLC Characters.
I checked out the webcomic and it was..... *LITERAlLY THE BEST WEBCOMIC SERIES I’VE EVER READ!*
So at the end everything is connected because night of the batmen.
Joe, Sonic the Hedgehog, and more)
Sonic also has a multiverse and connect with Super Smash Bros and all related properties.
And finally Doctor Who has too many crossovers to list here.
You magnificent bastards. This is insane and I love it.
So the DCAU multiverse is also tied to the Scooby-Doo multiverse and the TMNT multiverse? And it's all canon?
Have any of these shows fit in to the snow globe? Like did 6 million dollar man or bionic woman fit into there ever? Because just the slightest touch could mean this entire thing is all a part of the snow globe multiverse.
The pre justice leauge cartoon marketing push in coloring books and kids meals is another unverse. That might just be an extension of adventures in the dc universe given the similarites.
I really appreciate what you do. My God, the rabbit whole just keeps going.
7:54 according to multiversity, yes. All comics in a universe are another's accounts of history. At least in the comics multiverse, but I can see that working for the DCAU too.
Highlights WAS dope!
And Archie crossed over with the predator who is in the same universe as alien and punisher. Archie also crossed over with Sabrina the teenage witch , Sabrina crossed over with the sonic comics and the sonic comics crossed over with Daniaca Patrick and mega man.
It's a good thing you overlooked the Lego universe, because with Lego Dimensions, this would go on for ages
@@mattiesavannahpahl9934 So I guess they also have their own DCAU considering Lego DC Supervillains is getting BTAS DLC.
@@BATTY3459 so George Reeves is on Earth-66
In this branch, there is an Archie/Glee crossover comic.
I so want The Animaniacs,Tiny Toon,Pinky and The Brain and Freakazoid(Dexter Douglas ) should definitely have a crossover with The DCAU !
👏👏 Gods and Monsters 👏👏Will it canon?
I'd love to see Homer Simpson call Tom Turbine a nerd to his face. The next scene would be Homer screaming "AAAAHHHHH!!!!" as he flies over a building and the Green Guardsman catches him (as long as he doesn't have any aluminum on him). Then Marge and Black Siren laugh and go bake cookies. :P
Just two questions to make you go literally insane:
#1 - If Batman is in the Scooby-Verse which is in the Hanna-Barbera-Verse, then which Earth is associated with Space Ghost?
#2 - Since Spider-Man referenced The Tick in Spider-Man TAS, what Earth does The Tick live on?
I really enjoyed this vid, great job as always.
“As an expert in nuclear physics, I have hypothesised the existence of multiple parallel universes”
I love the throwback to Silver Age comics, where being a “scientist” no matter what field just makes you a genius at all science
Maybe I will try to like the video...maybe I will. Also what about widowmaker?
A little late here, but considering the vast number of crossovers and media cameos that exist one could easily create a Omniverse map in which everything exists. It would be impossibly huge, but I'd love to see someone try.
At the very least I'd like someone to make sense of the Scooby Doo Multiverse.
I love Elseworlds not matter how convoluted some of the stories were.I've been trying to collect all issues for many years now.
17:50 and he's also part of that big TV universe that you mentioned (and showed) earlier (14:55).
My boy back again
To cut down on confusion I wouldn't put the comics and animation in the same multi-verse. Unless they are comics in some way tied to anything animation wise. You already get universes based off those comic universes which are basically the same thing. Until you get to tmnt and dc crossover. Which is basically two different multi-verses. In actuality it really happens to four different multi-verses, two animation, and two comics. Two dc, and two tmnt respectively. I'm just attempting to make since of this madness.
