YEs we have had that kettle for a few yers now and its awesome. We have also got a washing up bowl and a bucket with the same collapsable design. Brilliant👍
The hi top is the way to go for long trips or more than two folks. Here in the states be careful in West Texas, New Mexico for high winds. I have to say that you are wasting the best part of this vehicle if you don’t do weekend trips camping. Where you live wild camping is easy, spots are plentiful in mist county’s.
To The Garage I hadn’t thought of the warmer part but I’m sure it’s true. When it’s cold I sleep downstairs and mostly don’t cook because it feels good to get inside where there is heat in a diner. I’ve always wondered if the insulated tent wraps work well. It would be a fair bit of trouble for an overnite but if you spend three or four days in one place it might be worth the trouble
Hi James I sold Campy a couple of years back and although their was no external identification of the converter, I seem to remember a sticker inside the wardrobe which i would swear said Avalon. I have no other info on the original converter either. So probably they are quite rare/little known conversions👍

Its true the hightop gives far more space and luggage carrying facilities. Plus its warmer.

Why do you have to cover number plate, because it was stolen?
No. It has very distinctive and memorable Irish plates. And that would make it an obvious target for cloning
