The quirkiness of the A-4, that first drop you dropped the rocket pods like a bomb because of being in the wrong mode. I know because I done it myself.
@@Marknow2 yeah the difference is that the bomb mode drops the ordinance on the pylon, the rocket mode sends electrical impulses to the rocket pods / missle.
I really like the doppler nav system in this plane. Not hard to use and very handy to get to target and back home without ever having to look at that f10 map during flight.
The A-4 is my favorite plane in DCS. And yes, until the A-7 comes out, or someone makes the F-105D, it is the most period correct cold war ground attack plane in DCS. (Yes, I know, the F-4 can drop bombs, but it really isn't a ground attack platform.).

Yeah, I ended up jettisoning my bombs once b/c I hit the trigger instead of the pickle button…or some such
@@mikeck4609 Honestly a good way to jettison empty rocket pods. Better than the jettison functions at least.
