- In this video, Nico and Elvis present the brand new SIP speedometer for the Vespa T5. The digital speedometer not only impresses with its two digital display fields, but also with an analog rev counter. The "Pole Position" version for the T5 offers all the functions of the popular TACHO KARACHO, including power test, EGT display, lambda value, daily trip and much more.

Two versions available ✨
We have developed two versions of the T5 rev counter: a national one with km/h and an international one with km/h and mph, to offer a wide range of displays for the MPH market. On longer journeys, another function proves useful: you can distinguish between two individual distances with driving time and average speed - perfect for distinguishing between daily and touring distances. But the total distance can also be set, so that the kilometres ridden on the old speedometer can be taken over without any problems. A special function is the gear display. The gear engaged at any given time can be read on it. To do this, the speedometer compares the number of revolutions and the speed travelled and calculates the gear ratio. This function must be learned at the beginning, as there are countless possible combinations of primary and rear gear ratios and the individual gear wheels.

Can someone explain why the stock speedo cable doesn’t actually work on the unit?
Disappointed and out about $400 USD after having to ship mine back for a replacement.
Not a great roll out of what should be an awesome product.

ive finally got mine fitted and tested on the road. as far as im aware, i have all the correct settings saved . I am running the speedo cable and not the external sensor. everything is working as it should be, the exception being the speedometer reading!!!!! its showing half the speed im actually doing!!! when travelling at 70 mph, speed is indicated at 35 mph, 50mph is indicated at 25mph ect. have i done somthing wrong??? anyone else have this problem?

@@SIPScootershopTV we purchased 2 speedos. we swapped them and had the same problem.turns out my standard setting was wrong...was to do with the wheel circumference! why when running a standard speedo cable and not a sensor? speed is now sorted, CHT works fine, i have purchased the EGT art 5001EGTJ as suggested in the booklet... i have settings set at egt c. all im getting is a 1200c flashing on my display...... have i done somthing wrong here as well????????
