Thank you so much!! Mine was changed but the ppl never reset it (they usually do when I get it changed) so it was showing that I was -4500 miles and would flash Everytime I started it so I'd have to hit the button to see my mileage Everytime. It was super annoying so thank you so much!!
First, thank you so much for the video. Second I have a small question if you don't mind. A month ago I had a problem with my Honda accord coupe 2007 software, so I took it to the mechanic and downloaded a new software and everything seems to be fine since then, today I had the wrench light on so I reset it as you did in this video except that I didn't switch to oil percentage at the beginning before holding the button for the first time, now the old problem is back, it doesn't start immediately, sometimes the engine stops when I'm parked, the rpm drops to almost 400 rpm when I turn the AC on, I probably done something wrong to the software the way I reset the wrench light, do you have any idea how to reverse whatever i've done? I don't want to pay another $50 to the mechanic. Thanks in advance
Resetting the wrench light has nothing to do with the software problem with your car. From your description, your car is having problems idling properly. This most likely a mechanical problem, not a software problem. I would take the care back to the shop to have it looked at again. They should not charge you for the diagnostic because the problem came back, they will likely charge for your repairing or replacing any parts though.
So, I had changed my oil & filter before the maintenance minder was triggered. The light still came on (wrench) and said oil life was @ %15 AFTER I had just changed the oil! So I'm taking that these codes are triggered by the mileage from the computer and not the condition of the oil itself? Hence the term "maintenance minder" ? Thanks! Please comment/reply. 07 Accord
Whole easier than actually changing the oil
