Not true. Yours is filmed in the US, I guess. The Video is made by a big german agency named "Jung von Matt" and was also filmed in Germany (you can guess i by the writing on the UPS-Truck. So I guess your post here is an other Prank?
***** Its actually fake, DHL already denied anything to do with this, Also not being on the DHL UA-cam Channel gives you a big hint.. there are shipping labels but when the camera gets a good view of them they are blurred out you can see this rely easy in the top corner of the top of the taped box @ 1:07
***** I concur... and they have the most people in the most locations... but they don't seem to exist where I live. Packages have to transfer to USPS to make it to my house.
UPS has become the worst delivery service in the country, but we don't have DHL around here. This video is hilarious! On behalf of all of us stuck with UPS, thank you for this shaming stunt, DHL!
WIN: Get your competitors to carry around giant advertisements for you. FAIL!: Release a viral video praising your competitors for delivering oversized packages to difficult locations at a reasonable price. Great job, geniuses!
Zillertalerwelthass we see more UPS option online than DHL. even in other countries UPS is more outstanding when it comes to being noticed. I cant even recall DHL when checking out US websites.
While this may appear as a "clever" and funny move from DHL and at the same time making UPS, TNT and DPD appear clueless, I still give props to UPS, TNT and DPD for delivering the packages to those hard to reach addresses. Now that's PROFESSIONALISM and DEDICATION.
DHL is a German company. The advertisment was filmed in Germany. In Germany FedEx is really small, so they don't mentioned (btw German Post DHL is the largest logistics Company in the world
Some people posting here do not get it. The genius wasn't in having them mail their packages. The genius was in creating a very catchy, humorous and enjoyable video to go along with it.. 3.3m views and climbing. Posting on social media is how they truly spread the word.
It's unclear to me how they manage for the guys of the other companies to keep the box in the right orientation and side to show the message, but this is a genius example of guerrilla marketing.
They are slower than the post office. In fact they use the US postal service as part of their delivery model. I hate it when something is delivered to me thru DHL. They suck.
Calling BS on this one. It doesn't add up. I suspect this whole thing is DHL (or someone) punking the rest of us with yet another "viral" video. - How are UPS people handling freezing packages with bare hands? - When they handled the packages to load into the van, why didn't their hands make hot hand prints on the packages - Why weren't these caught and covered over at a sorting facility, long after warming up? - Why were all packages all right-side up? - How did you have a camera in the elevator?
my company used TNT DHL and UPS throughout the years. Since the office address is in an industrial town in Thailand, and delivery companies hardly came this way, there is always delays when I am expecting an arriving delivery. Well, I can cope with a few days delay, but out of those three, only DHL's Thailand staff lied to me 3 times about my package. 1st saying they called me but no one answered. (No miss call alert at all) 2nd, they are on the way. (I waited a whole day, and no show from DHL) 3rd, The package is still in customs, (WTF, how can u deliver it on-the-way yesterday, and its in customs today?! And yet, on the DHL tracking system, the package was delivered a week ago.) My last call to them, they finally told me the truth, their driver is too lazy to drive an extra 30KMs to my address, so he left my package in the warehouse for the next driver going on this route.
Oh dear... did you guys know that we have a full Depressing Comic BOOK? The only thing that's not horribly saddening about it is the fact that it's on sale for $9.99 over at our store. Sigh.
I must be in the minority. I think it is cruel to make schmucks out of their competitors' delivery people. It will affect my future buying behaviour. If I need a delivery, I will remember that that is how they treat people - and maybe next time it will be how they treat a customer..
I don't see why do you involve the delivery guys in there? You mean people living in those areas never buy anything, and the bad guy DHL obliged them to go to Antarctica? I don't get your reasoning.
What a clever clever advertising company. I really like their three way advertising here. Adveritising DHL with the box being packaged, via youtube , and most importantly advertising their company and how creative/inovative they are. Three campaigns in one. And did I mention how insanely up with the times and modern their approach is? What are a great campaign!
DHL needs to get their shipping in order before they try to promote it. Waited over a month for a Christmas gift to be sent out this past season - and they then lost it. All in all, they took over 6 wks to get one shipment up the US coastline.
But that dye would have reacted directly when your hand touched it and pretty fast turned back to original. And pretty sure they need a release form from the people they have filmed and can get sued for this.
Xunmatio I want some of what you're smoking. Video games have nothing to do with this. UPS, USPS, DHL, Fedex, and even China Air use each others infrastucture. If you worked for one of these companies you would know this. UPS sorts and moves a great deal of USPS, DHL, and Fedex packages. USPS does the same for the others. I work at UPS worldport, we have Fedex and DHL aircraft land at our runways nightly. When you apply to work for UPS you undergo a fingerprint national background check because you will be sorting USPS postal. This video is just a silly marketing ploy. Why would a company spend billions building new infrastructure when they can use each others for far less money?
Xunmatio You didn't read up much on how logistics work did you?

Well, DHL refuses to pay fair wages and even tried to break the law by cancelling pay for people who were forced to call in ill, so.... There's pretty much no amount of marketing that could sway my opinion into using their services.
***** Watching and commenting is meaningless when you already know how terrible DHL is. They have to resort to juvenile pranks like this because everyone who's ever had to ship for business knows how bad they are outside of central Europe.
DHL is worst, so this compagny use bullshit advertissements with very bad troll to other delivery companies. Worst society = worst advertissements! Problem solved!

The UPS guy that taped the box should get a raise!
I agree
Wieso?
The really briliant guy is the one that taped it over. He should get a raise.
or you know, probably all others got their asses fired and he was the only man standing!
Warum?
DHL: Masters of trolling.
TROJAN. Some of that was filmed were we just filmed a prank
Heres our new one-->DRIVE THRU DRUG DEALING PRANK
Not true. Yours is filmed in the US, I guess. The Video is made by a big german agency named "Jung von Matt" and was also filmed in Germany (you can guess i by the writing on the UPS-Truck. So I guess your post here is an other Prank?
YEah, especially of their employee's
Yea when they advertise they troll there compeditor hard
Danke :)
Whoever's idea this was, well done. This person needs a raise. Genius!
I didn't get the idea 🙂😅
Thank you :] the idea actually originated in Bonn, here in Germany
LMAO we have a new king of Trolls :)
Nice shads!
***** What makes you think it didn't?... You just saw the video lol.
haha yeap br0 anyone can do it xD just find this guide *"Andrew B Cloverfield"* and see how easy he does it :]

lol, I'm sure there're getting MUCH more advertising from this video than they did in NewYork.
Of course they are, but if they didn't have done this, they couldn't have made this video.
These types of commercials are commonly faked because the video going viral is their campain, not the thing they do or pretend to do.
G48R13L dont justsay its fake. Prove it with a rational proof.
@@angeldominican7705 How did they find all the delivery guys in the streets before they deliver the package?
These guys are getting a raise.
I work for ups and this was awesome.
This was such a good idea hahaha
***** Ida Evans s you are both disgusting and I am deleting your shitty comments
Well this puts an end to the "Once you go black you never go back" theory.
So they now deliver boxes with absolute no shipping labels or address? All hired actors in competitors uniforms.
there are shipping labels but when the camera gets a good view of them they are blurred out you can see this rely easy in the top corner of the top of the taped box @ 1:07
Yeah that's why my DHL package took 5 fucking weeks.
yea but the this commercial is awesome ! there for DHL is awesome & faster !
I thought i was the only one they **FU*KED!!!!**
Lol. My shipment status for DHL hasn't updated in over two weeks. I think it's gone.
DHL says this is a "prank", but in reality...this is the only way they can deliver on time.
+Daemon Mythos Seriously, if they are able to deliver at all and the package doesn't end somewhere else.
So who remembers DHL completely pulling out of US domestic shipping cutting 15,000 jobs? I do. What DHL?!?
These guys are just doing their job. You think they feel any sort of loyalty to their companies?
I think so too
I thought it was about mailing condoms.
lol, DHL is the best
***** I concur... and they have the most people in the most locations... but they don't seem to exist where I live. Packages have to transfer to USPS to make it to my house.
We used DHL as our shipping company but had to switch because they were extremely slow and screwed up way, way too much.
***** In Germany DHL is very good and fast. I don't know how it is in other countries.
LOL @ the guy who taped it over
Why they blocking out faces, its a commercial.
***** because then they'd have to pay them or the people exposed have the right to sue
As you may see:
DHL prefers deliver their packages via UPS or TNT.
:D :D :D
UPS has become the worst delivery service in the country, but we don't have DHL around here. This video is hilarious! On behalf of all of us stuck with UPS, thank you for this shaming stunt, DHL!
Genius.
Hey UPS, can you come pick up these big black boxes in this freezer?
WIN: Get your competitors to carry around giant advertisements for you.
FAIL!: Release a viral video praising your competitors for delivering oversized packages to difficult locations at a reasonable price. Great job, geniuses!
Excellent idea. I hope the marketing guy who came up with this gets a bonus.
And the lesson is:
NEVER leave home without a penknife and roll of tape.
well, you can see UPS seems to have the safest transportation method compared to the others.
Trolling - done like a pro.
Sad to say that this is the first time I heard of DHL or at least in a very long time.
I have never heard of DHL here in Canada.
It's the world's largest logistic company... just saying
Zillertalerwelthass we see more UPS option online than DHL. even in other countries UPS is more outstanding when it comes to being noticed. I cant even recall DHL when checking out US websites.
kitsune ken. They are still the largest logistic company. They deliver more than UPS.
While this may appear as a "clever" and funny move from DHL and at the same time making UPS, TNT and DPD appear clueless, I still give props to UPS, TNT and DPD for delivering the packages to those hard to reach addresses. Now that's PROFESSIONALISM and DEDICATION.
Alternate advertising, I like that.
I didn't see a shipping label or slip attached to those boxes.
Wouldn't there be one?
It was on the top of the box
Completely set up
DPD still has the best service by far. This just proves DHL don't even provide their drivers with a sack barrow!
They need to hire a better security team.
***** Your not funny and all you do is spam. Sad much.
***** yeah that really isnt funny....sorry but you suck
Never heard of them. Must be a European thing.
TheTW13 I'm European and I never heard of them.
Where is Fedex huh? HUH?!
Looks like DHL ain't good enough to troll the Ultimate Giant, Fedex, yet!
It doesn't have a strong presence in Europe...
DHL is a German company. The advertisment was filmed in Germany. In Germany FedEx is really small, so they don't mentioned (btw German Post DHL is the largest logistics Company in the world
+What now? DHL is a trash of a company and should be brought down.
In Germany (DHL is from Germany) FedEx ist just unknown. Nobody sends parcels here with FedEx
DHL was an American company before it was acquired by Deutsche Post.
Some people posting here do not get it. The genius wasn't in having them mail their packages. The genius was in creating a very catchy, humorous and enjoyable video to go along with it.. 3.3m views and climbing. Posting on social media is how they truly spread the word.
Lol in the northern states they would have just stayed black
Well played DHL... Well played.
When I saw the title I thought that it was going to ship in a condom . I'm so disappointed
It's unclear to me how they manage for the guys of the other companies to keep the box in the right orientation and side to show the message, but this is a genius example of guerrilla marketing.
They may just put heavier stuff in the bottom, so, it is much easier for the guys to hold this way. Also, they can make that msgs for both sides.
So amazing.
Someone in marketing is getting a big raise for this :D
DHL is faster? Yeah right! I once did send a package within the Netherlands, it took DHL 4 days to deliver it.
yeah but if you would have send it with postnl they would never deliver it so it's faster
This is absolute genius.
I'm laughing my ass off at this. Well done, DHL.
I worked for DHL 6 years a go, but when we had something really important package, than we always used UPS or TNT. We never trust DHL! :-D
All hail the trolling master
I'll know it's the future when commercials are good like this :)
This is backhanded. Really funny, but so backhanded. Never gunna ship through dhl unless I have to.
They are slower than the post office. In fact they use the US postal service as part of their delivery model. I hate it when something is delivered to me thru DHL. They suck.

Brilliant troll advertising by DHL.
Well played DHL
Brilliant :')
I bet the other UPS drivers were laughing at this UPS driver when they saw the ad. UPS needs a revenge prank.
haha:D boss advertising
Great advertising, simply brilliant
That is just pure ingenuity! Those delivery men must have been pretty surprised.
Dinkleberg!
Excellent idea!! is important to spread
Making people look like fools who are just trying to keep their hourly job is not genius. It's called exploitation.
agreed not cool, respect the work people do
Making people look like fools because they don't realize it is not a real ad.
surprise all package was upright, and no one ever question picking up a ice cold package ever.
Good marketing tactic advertising with false claims... Too bad DHL isn't actually faster
This is SO clever! Nice one.
Love it!
The company that I work for uses all the major shippers and so rings true for me this is a super find
Haha, that's hilarious!
that is an innovative way of advertising, i like that!
I must be in the minority. I think it is cruel to make schmucks out of their competitors' delivery people. It will affect my future buying behaviour. If I need a delivery, I will remember that that is how they treat people - and maybe next time it will be how they treat a customer..
Couldn't agree more. My next delivery is going to be on UPS, FedEx, or hell some local company, but NOT DHL. Gotta feel for those delivery guys
Screw you all! USPS Priority flat rate FTW!!!!
I don't see why do you involve the delivery guys in there? You mean people living in those areas never buy anything, and the bad guy DHL obliged them to go to Antarctica? I don't get your reasoning.
Cristian G. Huh? DHL sent packages via UPS and the poor UPS delivery guys are walking around being made the butt of DHL's joke - that's why.
David Bennett A package is a package, with "DHL" or "UPS" written on it.
1:09 - Damn, that's a true commitment to your company.
This is how advertising should be.
#ft
This is genius ! DHL we love you, a regular package (not even express) going around the world only took you guys 2 day that's amazingly fast.
DHL maybe is faster but not cheaper
Gute Werbung! Zeigt deutlich dass UPS, DPD, und TNT Pakete zuverlässiger zustellen!
so you guys stalked their steps to get the footage?
DHL mailed the packages. So I think it's safe to say they knew where the packages got sent......

GENIUS!
WE ship hundreds of cold boxes with ice-packs.
Only FedEx delivers in two days anywhere in the US!
epic way to troll dhl marketing team.. well played.

guys this isn't real DHL has already claimed it's not their video, just google it. alot of mistakes in this video as well, still funny though
I found that one package with colored paper around relevant bits - hilarious! Well played!
Props to the guy at 1:07 =]
Trolling in the corporate world. Love it.
But that dye would have reacted directly when your hand touched it and pretty fast turned back to original. And pretty sure they need a release form from the people they have filmed and can get sued for this.
You know what's not fun? Everything you just said.
They blurred the eyes out so they could use the video clips.
ᵉᵣᵢₓᵐᵢₓ ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ Ha
This is just too good!
No fedex?
Give the guy who covered up "DHL is Faster" a raise. At least he shows some pride for his company.
Dat is pas marketing!
Clever
The best possible advert for DPD - even DHL parcels are entrusted to us for delivery :)
It's funny, but doesn't make much sense. All the major shippers use each others services. They're all the same basically.
