I was introduced to this video through my English teacher. Back in 5th grade, she used to play this video and several other heart-warming videos in the class. The first time she played this, I cried my heart out. She was a very humble lady and very friendly teacher. She used to address everyone as "children". But life is cruel to good people. Unfortunately she died of covid back in 2021 when she didnt even age that much. All of my friends including myself were in utter shock. She had a little daughter. I hope she's living well♡ Rest in peace, mam. No one was like you. No one will ever be like you.

Where I come from in India, beggars have no intention of sending their kids to school ever. In government schools here, education is real cheap and yet they won't send the kids to school. Those kids are trained to beg and eat off of that for the rest of their lives.

I don't think donation is the best way to help the poor. The most important thing is that, we have to diversify the competition, not increase it. Poverty comes from not coping with the competition market. And that is limited. No significant endeavour for alternative energy sources, no attempt to use AI in crop fields. Capitalists want to use AI in replacing employees, teachers not replacing the farmers and labourers. That would give farmers a chance to think about something else, at the same time, the crops will grow. Farmers will buy robots just as they buy tractor. And, we need to seriously think about moving to other planets, it is really true. Imagine we could colonise mars, that would give more opportunities to work, more energy source to be harnessed, thus diversified workforce. So what spacex is trying to do is worth it. People don't take it seriously. So, I think people should be interested in space exploration more than they are. This would give countries, opportunities to play their own role, many other jobs will arise. Only problem is, it's only America who is serious about it, no other country is as serious.

Living in Thailand I have seen during the Covid period a lot of selfless acts. A lot of Thais were helping each other , often sharing the little they had themself. So there are indeed a lot of good people ( the Buddhist way maybe ).. Thailand is really a special place.

BEST commercial EVER!! I use it every semester in my class and it always makes such an impact on my students when I ask them if they are willing to be an "unsung hero" and help change the planet! I am a supply (cover) teacher working in lots of different primary schools in London, and I have shown this video to hundreds of children from aged 5 to 11. They invariably find it fascinating and ask to watch it again and again. The message they take and I try to enforce is that life is not about being rich or famous: these goals are very hard to achieve and often fail to bring happiness anyway. The purpose of life is to be like this guy - to be kind, to give and receive love. And that is something we can all do.

I am a supply (cover) teacher working in lots of different primary schools in London, and I have shown this video to hundreds of children from aged 5 to 11. They invariably find it fascinating and ask to watch it again and again. The message they take and I try to enforce is that life is not about being rich or famous: these goals are very hard to achieve and often fail to bring happiness anyway. The purpose of life is to be like this guy - to be kind, to give and receive love. And that is something we can all do.
