I’m a 32, olive skinned latina and didn’t start taking care of my skin until I was 27. I’m teaching my 4 year old daughter proper skin care now so she doesn’t make the same mistakes I did. If I forget, she’ll remind me “MOM you didn’t put sunscreen on me” 😍
Good for you!
Love this!
Thats great!
I’m right behind you! I started at 26 and I’m going on 28 soon! I’m a brown skinned African American. Good for you!!!
im only 21 but i feel like im a bit too late. at 16 i was under a program of physical training that makes students train under the sun for HOURS. now i noticed i have some spots appear here and there. god forbid they are signs of something serious. i only started the sunscreen thing a year ago but i still havent found the perfect and affordable product- i got bumps with the product im using.
Another problem is that sunscreen is one of the hardest things for people with oily skin. It feels greasy and thick, and many sunscreens clog pores. Asian sunscreens and chemical sunscreens with a watery texture have worked best for me.
I am Asian and don't have oily skin type but I use a chemical sunscreen. I just the white cast that just sits on the surface that seems to be not stable.
Use a non greasy sunscreen, I have oily skin and it works for me
What asian sunscreens / chemical sunscreens do you recommend?
Elaine Arcelona the lightest one I’ve ever used is the Paula’S Choice Clear SPF 30. I don’t think it has the best protection, but I think it’s fantastic for everyday wear to work or commuting. The Biore UV Aqua Watery Sunscreen is also amazing for better protection.
@@danielcrotty8697 The problem with the Biore UV sunscreen is that the first ingredient is alcohol. So it's hydrating but drying at the same time.
I wish cellphones had UV cameras so you could take a selfie that would reveal skip areas, and give you immediate feedback on whether you applied enough SPF.
Go create it
@@levelup2014 you say that like its so easy
There are some heavy duty phones with the feature. But on rear camera
We should demand that feature from manufacturers.
@@levelup2014people think you were being snarky but I agree. They should go capitalize on that idea however they can before I do lol. Necessity is the mother of invention…
Sunscreen application should be something that should be taught just like brushing our teeth but not enough people or physicians talk about it. Thank you , Dr. Dray for your emphasis on the importance of sunscreen and sun protection! 💗💗💗
- what does that mean?
Dylan N Just because discussion of gender isn’t important to you doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be discussed. And I don’t think the original comment was even about school specifically. Go be mad that people are different than you elsewhere.
@@dylannicks1146 if everyone has gone mad maybe you're the issue
In Australia they have been for decades and it's helped their skin cancer rates. They also teach kids and adults about UVA/UVB and the UV index which most Americans aren't even aware.
I would have so appreciated this. I was the only one in my family with olive skin and guess who never got their share of sunscreen. My family to this day still believe that I am neurotic for the simple hygiene of daily spf application.
They need to stop making these tiny tubes of SPF for the face! My little 1.5 ounce SPF tube is gone in a week when I apply it to my face and neck multiple times a day like I am supposed to.
I guess they feel if we do nothing else and are interested in skin protection, we will at the very least apply it to the face and neck so they make that more expensive. Consider using a body sunscreen on your face as dr. Dre has mentioned before. Or use a different sunscreen for reapplication.
I just use my regular sunscreen on my face. There's no difference for me, except the price. 👍
I recommend trying the Australian Gold Mineral Sunscreen. It's tinted (so it doesnt leave you white) and it's affordable. I get it for $14 on Amazon for a 3oz. tube. Dr. Dray has recommended it in her tinted sunscreens video.
@@jisson57 that sunscreen is so drying on my face, it's so uncomfortable. I wish I could use it.
There are plenty of large size affordable sunscreens out there, the tiny bottle expensive ones are what theyd consider luxury or cosmetically elegant. Of course theyre going to be more expensive. As a consumer, you get to decide if you want to pay more for something "nice". Id love to get the color science or murad spf but im broke so banana boat ($8/6oz) for me lol
As a dark skinned Indian living in an East Asian-majority country my entire life, I’ve been told countless times that I never need sunscreen because I never get sunburn. Now, at age 25, I finally realise how untrue that is. Thank you Dr Dray for highlighting the importance of sun protection to me and my family, and saving my skin. :) Have a great day!
I guess we’ve all had the same upbringing... I’m guyanese meaning I do have Indian origin and I never ever used to wear sunscreen cause I’ve never sunburned in my life but sunscreen is literally necessary if you want any skin care to work 😭 I’ve been lied to lmfao
ahhh singapore
This was so informative! I’ve always wondered if it’s as effective , thank you!
Dr dray is honestly a beacon of light in the skincare community, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!
I was looking a lotion with SPF for my sister just 1 day ago!!!!.. How in the hell did you know that Dr Dray??🤯.. you’re a life saver🙏🏼
Omg, I have been trying to figure this out for a long time.
Doctors talked about not using enough due to the dilution and also reapplication problem with lotion after 90 minutes.
Lotion should be absorbed while sunscreen should act as a barrier against UV rays, so they recommended the safest bet was using separate sunscreen and lotion.
💙
Agreed
Exactly my problem. I'm using that Hada Labo uv perfect gel 50+++ spf and reapplication is a struggle for me cause I treat it as a moisturizer first and sunscreen 2nd.
What Did We Do To Deserve You 🥺🥺
I feel guilty leaving the house without spf. I literally hear Dr. Dray's voice in my head saying dont forget sunscreen and subscribe 😆
I personally try to use both SPF lotion and a separate sunscreen. This gives me confidence I have enough. Thanks so much great video as usual.
Me too! lRP has my favorite spf moisturizers.
Doesn't mixing different sunscreen ingredients together might make them both ineffective? I see lab muffin saying it all the time
@@shejar not if the sunscreens are similar in type....i.e. both mineral.
@@shejar I don't mix them, I just layer them. Which I guess may disrupt the first layer of sunscreen, but I try not to overthink it that much
DELLRS2012 what brand is IRP?

This was so informative. I’ve been using the DRMTLGY Tinted for quite a while now, based on your recommendation. The scent is not bothersome to me and it does fade quickly. It works well with my fair skin.
Thanks 💙💙
Hi,which one was that cud you plz tell me for what purpose did you use that
What about the Drmtlgy non-tinted one?
Frances Kennedy I’ve been thinking about buying the DRMTLGY Tinted for a bit, but I’m very fair and unsure if it would be a good shade match.
Marie : Hi. I’m pretty fair skin as well and it’s fine on me. It’s also goes well with my make up. I also have the non tinted one and I like it as well.
Hi Dr. Dray! Thanks to your constant reminder, I started applying sunscreen more religiously and got rid of "pricey" skincare altogether! I really love your no-nonsense reviews of skincare products! Thank you! Happy Labor Day!
Just ordered some recently from your suggestions and recommendations ... I’ve spent more on face care and sunscreens in the past couple of months than I probably have my whole life!!! 😊
Me too but my skin in LOVING it! 🥰
Cheryl Ruest oh same here!🤣
Dr. Dray recommends, ordered on Amazon or straight to Walgreens👍🏼
Omg me too!
This 53 years young, fair-skinned redhead who frequently uses sunscreen thanks you for this video. 🤓♥️☀️
I saw your I stagram recommendation of the DRMTLGY Tinted SPF 46 and ordered some that day. It really is a great product! Thanks for all the wonderful skincare you have introduced me to over the years! You’re awesome!!!😊🎉
so glad to hear you like it!
I like that one too and every once in a while they have 20-25% off.
Drmtlgy spf 46
Thank you, this is very insightful. I just bought Cetaphil's Pro Redness Control SPF 30 tinted moisturizer a few days ago and I was wondering about this. I wish they would make one with SPF 50 because I love it so far.
I wish they would too
I’ve used moisturizer with SPF on my tattoos for years. I also reapply like crazy all over my body because I’ve seen my maternal grandfather constantly get cancerous moles due to sun exposure. My family thinks I’m a little crazy, but I’ve had moles removed for cosmetic purposes and I don’t need a cancer scare.
The problem with using a separate sunscreen for me is that I need to use a separate moisturizer because my skin is so dry from Tazorac. But most standalone sunscreens pill on my face and make the dryness even worse. SPF moisturizers are basically the only thing that work for me. However I have no problem using a lot because my skin is so dry.
Suntegrity is my personal favorite in this category. A tinted moisturizing sunscreen.
👍🏼
The SPF 30?? I thought it was so sticky
What’s the trick to using it
Connie W emulsify it in your hands like a hair product... I’m a guy so I obviously don’t want to be wearing a full face of makeup but I’ve found this to be a perfect amount of coverage for me.
This is the best!!! Their dewy and matte versions both work well on my dehydrated skin! I no longer wear foundation. So perfect!!
@@DrDrayzday Dr dray! I have a question so you're saying this about sunscreen. However, aren't all sunscreens made different. So wouldn't that mean all sunscreens need a different amount so why don't they give us an amount easily understandable to apply.
I hope she gets 1 million sub.
Happy Monday Dr. Dray and everyone! Thank you for being my go to derm and helping me recover my skin ♥️
Thanks enjoy your day 😀😀
Dr. Dray is so amazing. So glad I found her and her lovely subscribers!!

Thanks for watching
After washing my face in the morning I use my moisturizer with spf 50. I really lay it on there and it soak in. But for reapplication during the day, I use a dedicated sunscreen :)
May I please ask what the moisturizer with spf 50 that you use is called? :-)
Always love when you note how experience may differ depending on skintone! Products with whitecast waste soo much money.
Watching this at night but now I feel the urge to lather myself in sunscreen.
Almost at 900k👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
How do you think she should celebrate once she hits 1 million 😊. I vote for a skin care line called “Tybee’s Jam”
Thanks so much for your support 💙💙
@@trb2888 I love that name! 😂
dll6384 In one of her previous videos, Dr Dray commented on the “dermatologist approved” label as nothing more than a marketing tool; she then quipped “I could make a line and call it Tybee-approved, and eventually, ppl would come into derm offices and request only products that are Tybee-Approved.” I lost it- she’s so funny.
@@trb2888 Yes, I remember that.
I just tried the non-tinted version of this DRMTLGY sunscreen for the first time today! I really like it so far!! :) I have been using blue lizard because I have a history of my face reacting to any sunscreen other than mineral-only, but it is heavy and casty. I'm holding my breath and giving octinoxate a chance. Thanks Dr Dray!!
Happy Labor Day, Dr Dray! My favorite moisturizer with SPF is Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 50 for sensitive skin. After that has soaked in for a few minutes I go in with a tinted SPF. I’ve found this to be a great combo. Have a great day!
Thank you. I’m sticking to the 2 steps. I’ve had facial skin cancer twice. So what product won’t burn eyes?! Sunscreen on eyelids? Omg.
Omg, u r looking so glowy and pretty
I ordered this tinted moisturizer and cannot wait to use it ♥
I’ve wondered about this and figured just caking myself with both products will accomplish the task. I was thinking is Dr. Dray capable of observing Labor Day labor free? Seems you would have to be strapped in a hammock and given a interesting book with some tasty coffee or offered a free trail ride via a fleece lined papoose in the fall to keep you from working! Great video today! Happy Non Labor Day! 👍🏻☕️⭐️

I purchased the DRMTLGY tinted moisturizer a while ago based on your recommendation. I LOVE it! Great for everyday wear and my face always looks super healthy and hydrated all day.
I'd honestly use a moisturizer spf more since every sunscreen I've used burned my eyes or broke me out so bad. I'd Def love a moisturizer spf so this gave me hope for finally figuring out my spf. I do use mine, regularly but the white cast sucks.
I personally layer first a lightweight moisturizer wuth SPF, waite for a few minutes and then continue with a layer on top of my favorite sunscreen ,waite again...usually 10 minutes...and the I top it up again with a tinted sunscreen..it works great...I only use SPF 50 to avoid thinking too much about it...and I honestly say I even enjoy putting sunscreen...thanks to Dr Dray😃
I have a body moisturiser with spf..so is it ok if i apply body sunscreen over it?
Dr Dray, you have been looking phenomenal. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge. You have a loyal follower here!!

Great topic today! I use a moisturizer and sunscreen and pretty happy with the results 😊

Thanks for this video.
I have oily/acne prone skin, and I like Bare Republic’s mineral sunscreen gel lotion. It’s lightweight and matte, and hasn’t made me break out. I tried it because Hyram suggested it. So glad I did lol. I use the body sunscreen because the ingredients are almost the same as the face sunscreen, but less pricey. Would recommend trying if you need something non-greasy and acne friendly :)
That's a good informative video, thank you, but one question: Applying sunscreen to te eyelides is not dangerous for the eyes? In really hot days, that you are sweating, there is a risk for the product to have contact with the eyes.
You have me hooked on that sunscreen and they are having a site-wide sale today. Thank you so much for making these videos ❤️
I enjoyed this🙌🏻 I have alway said to use a separate moisturizer ( so you get all the active benefits without sunscreen chemicals destroying them) and a separate sunscreen( I love only Zinc Oxide) to get full coverage and to ALWAYS wear a wide brimmed hat. What are your thoughts Dr ? Unless I missed you touch on this.

Don’t know what it is about the drmtlgy sunscreen, but it burns my eyes like crazy!
@Sylvia Anderson Me too because it contains chemical filters and is not a mineral sunscreen. Dr Dray has mentioned on numerous occasions that her eyes aren’t sensitive to sunscreen, including ones that are not mineral/physical sunscreens.

i use “body” sunscreens on my face and the small tubes of SPF moisturizer to reapply during the day 😅
Sameee because sunscreen it’s quite expensive when you know how much you need to put and how many times you need to reapply it
Great idea- but tough to find a fragrance free option! Do u recommend any?
@@ruchatalks8156 Up & Up Sport Sunscreen from target is a great fragrance-free option. Not greasy
Rucha Gururaj I actually use the « P20 suncare for kids spf50+ » it’s fragrance free alcohol free and essential oils free but it’s really greasy I put a powder on top because I don’t like the finish of the sunscreen but it has a ppd(uva protection) above 50 which is actually extremely extremely high so it’s for that reason that I use and I really like it but if you do not pot powder on top it’s kind of difficult to wear it
@@dylaustin8 also Walgreens spf 50 sport,or sensitive skin version
I totally agree when sunscreens come in small bottles I'm just stingier with them which is not the goal. Love the DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen although I use it over a mineral sunscreen base. The info on amount and application in this video was exactly what I needed thank you! 💛
Happy Monday Everyone 💚 One Of the best thing to my day is definitely watching/learning from Dr. Dray 😘
ThThanks so much enjoy the day 🤗🤗
Happy Monday
Thank You!! Happy Monday To You Too!! Have a Great Day!!
This is the video that i have been waiting for it 💕
My sunscreen gets into eyes all the time even if I apply about 1-1.5 cm from my eyes, and it's really painful and disturbing my sights. How do I deal with this? :(
I've been getting into the habit of doubling or even tripling sunscreen on my face by using an SPF moisturizer, a sunscreen and then if I'm wearing makeup primer with SPF. That way I'm hoping to get better coverage. I also wear a hat and sun glasses when going outside longer than 20 minutes because I never assume I've covered everything.
I really like the Eucerin Daily Protection Face Lotion & Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30. It's got zinc and titanium dioxide so it leaves a bit of a cast but goes away in a couple minutes.
I wouldn't say my family is broke. But when I try buy quality products from abroad it's just too expensive.
I never thought to put sunscreen on my eyelids- I sweat a lot and it gets into my eyes. I tend to wear large, dark glasses and big, floppy uv blocking hats.
Definitely the best sunscreen approach for me
Have a fabulous day everyone! 💕🎉
Happy Monday
Thanks enjoy your day 🤗🤗
Thank you so much, you too!
EXCELLENT tutorial!!! Covered every question I had. Kudos.
Very interesting video, thanks so much for the work you put into making these. I use a moisturiser with SPF 50 since I prefer it to actual sunscreen as it is fragrance free so I can use it on my eyelids and has some nice actives as an added bonus. I apply loads of it to make sure I'm getting enough protection but I do understand what you mean about people not applying enough.
I cringe so bad when I see some skincare routines on youtube and people barely dot some moisturiser with spf on their face, I put more on my nose alone than some people put on their whole face and neck. This is not the time to be skimpy.
Hii could i know what moisturiser you are using as i am looking to buy one right now
My go-to moisturizer with sunscreen is Neutrogena's Healthy Defense Sensitive Skin mineral based with SPF 50. It's very hydrating and works great on my mature skin. It does leave a sheer white cast due to the zinc oxide so I layer my makeup or BB cream or another tinted SPF over it to cover the cast. It's also fragrance free! :)
I have the same question!
@@TheMoonwalker101 What question are you referring to?
I usually use a moisturizer with spf instead of sunscreen on days when I know i’m not really gonna go outside. It feels like enough protection for indoors especially since I apply quite a lot.
You look great! Happy Labor Day!
Happy Labor Day
Labor Day in Belgium is May the 1st. It is part of the worker's movement and unions here. I often am amazed at how different things are elsewhere in the world.
How can I apply enough sunscreen around the eye area without having it get into my eyes?
Keep them closed and don’t apply a big glob
The purito comfy water is the only sunscreen that feels comfortable on my eyelids! Also the centella green level unscented I think is super nice because you can apply it much thicker without the white cast/having to blend it out and essentially wiping it away. The comfy water sometimes gets these little peely flakes though, but if you blend it out on your whole face before it dries down, that won’t happen!
I use the la Roche Posay anthelios 50+ invisible fluid (without color) and it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. Even when I put tons of it near them or on my eyelids. It's a great face sunscreen, I don't use it for my entire body bc it would be too expensive for me.
I always use a 50 spf sunscreen lipstick for the eye area. That way I can get really close to the eye without getting it IN the eye.
I agree with the comment about purito centella green unscented sunscreens not hurting the eyes. My eyes literally used to become red and watery through the day no matter what suscreen i used. I tried colorscience, lrp, exuviance, uriage, clinique even better, cetaphyl, and various korean sunscreens. The only ones that did not give me red eyes by the end of the day were the korean sunscreens, but the purito centella won’t even leave me blinking. Love it. Of course I also wear sunglasses but that sunscreen was a savior for my periorbital protection.
Ouch!! The moisturiser is not available here in the UK! Never mind...I enjoyed the video nevertheless after a day in the office. I miss tuning in to your vlogs 5pm UK time due to a long commute. Always a treat to watch you in the evening Dr Dray after a day’s work 😃. Have a great week ! 🇬🇧❤️
Happy Monday. I will try that sunscreen
I never really used sunscreen when I lived in Asia. But whenever we go out in the sun we made sure we would use an umbrella to protect our skin from getting dark or sunburned. I believe our sunscreen was using an umbrella everyday out in the sun!haha😁 But imagine using an umbrella in the United States or other countries would look hilarious to other people! But i guess we just have to respect everybody’s own way of protecting their skin. So if you think you cant use a hat or umbrella while walking in the sun! Please listen to Dr. Drays advice and slap on those sunscreens and sunblocks all over your face and body. We will be thankful in the end. Thank you Dr. Dray for always giving us advice we appreciate it very much.👍 ☂ 🧴😊
I’m from Taiwan and I use an umbrella when I’m out. 😊
I’m new to this channel . Is that really your natural skin or are you wearing light makeup? You have beautiful skin if it’s natural , it’s flawless! What number spf for a dark brown skin person?
DRMTLGY is my favorite tinted sunscreen ❤️ I use it after applying CeraVe PM lotion. Love it !!!
I love sunscreens more than anything else but I always struggle finding the right one for my skin. I'm a person of colour who loves mineral sunscreen, the cast is not an issue as I don't care looking a bit ghostly as oppose to being protected from the sun, however; the moment I put on a sunscreen my face starts sweating profusely. It's annoying. I don't even step out that often and my sun exposure is usually 2-3 hours max outdoors. My family members love letting the sunlight in so I make sure I am well protected indoors. I've tried channels of creams, gels, milk, water and the one that turns in to powder after setting up - I made sure I have a dry face and I sit under a fan deliberately to stop sweating. I live near the sea and the climate is hot and humid. I don't know what to do as my sunscreen melts away immediately. I do re-apply but where I live, sunscreens don't come cheap. It's really a nightmare.
I never felt the need to use sunscreen because I don’t do any outdoor activities except driving to work and running errands. Yet my face and my body are two different tones. 😂 Sunscreen is actually really important. Now I use Cerave’s spf 30 moisturizer everyday.
Happy Monday everyone
Thank You!! Happy Monday To You Too!! Have a Great Day!
So are SPF creams not supposed to be reapplied throughout the day? Every 3-4 hours? If you shower and apply at 7am before leaving the house for work. .. would you take that bottle and reapply the same way 3 or 4 times a day? I can't see many people adhering to that? So how effective is SPF use once in the morning, really?
You right. I usually spread sunscreen like peanut on toast but it come to moisturizer i put a light layer. This is because we were told to apply a light layer of moisturizer because anyway the skin will not absorb that much so no need to apply an inch. Every time I heard Dr. Dray talking about skin cancer, i swear i will bring my patio umbrella ...feel that is the only way to be 100% UVB and UVA free.
awesome video and happy Monday!

Such a great video! I’ve always gotten the your so lucky you don’t burn and just tan. Yes I’m fortunate BUT I have to protect myself like everyone else and I do have other issues even if I don’t burn. I just ordered sunscreen you recommended. I can’t remember who, it was another skincare UA-camr that recommended the DRMTGLY SPF 45 anti-aging saying it didn’t leave a cast and brand adverts the same. YET it does! Don’t get if your brown skin or deeper! I also finally broke down and bought the Supergoop. Hope your rec works because I’m dreading having to repurchase the Supergoop. Appreciate your time!❤️
Sun screen and hats. I live in Europe, therefore, I walk a lot and I’ve been noticing that the sun with the glasses on is not enough, because the sun from the top comes right down and hits between the glasses and my forehead right on to my eyelids, causing me to get pigmentation on my eyelids.
Thank you dr. Drey! Is sunscreen with peptide effective??
I have never found a sunscreen that does not make my eyes sting, if I get it anywhere near my eyes. Even the ‘sensitive’ sunscreens or moisturisers with spf. I can’t imagine putting any on my eyelids.
The biggest problem I have with applying sunscreen around the eye is that it burns! All of my sunscreens are chemical since I don't want the white cast. I have watched at least 80% of your videos, incl. all of the sunscreen ones, and don't recall you having specifically recommended a sunscreen that does not burn around the eyes. Do you have any thoughts? Or do they all burn? Or do I just have to try one with only zinc instead? Maybe I'm just putting it to close to my eyes?
HI Dr Dr Dray, would you consider Cerave Daily Facial Moisturizing lotion SPF 30 a sunscreen or do you recommend still using a sunscreen on top of it? Thanks for all the advice, love your videos
If you are referring to the “AM”, I wouldn’t buy it because it leaves “pills” and thick film. But the Cerave Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion with spf 30 is great. It’s just a small tube but does not leave “filmish” tints and no pills
I have recently been using a moisturizer with sunscreen and I have wondered if I was getting proper protection. Thanks for talking about this. Happy Labor Day, Dr Dray! I hope you had a wonderful day! 💖
I have both the tinted and untinted DRMTLGY sunscreens and I love them. I definitely think the tinted version is more moisturizing.
All chemical sunscreens burn by eyes, and mineral sunscreens are super white and drying for my skin. I tried 8 different sunscreens this summer, and none work great for me. I can't afford Drmtlgy
Would you say this sunscreen Dermatology is shinier than CeraVe?
I can’t put sunscreen on my eye lids or anywhere near my eyes they are just too sensitive
In Australia we have both and no issue with protection having all in one. You should try some Australian sunscreens. They are brilliant.
Can you tell me your favorites please?

Such an Interesting Topic Dr. Dray!! I Love This Video!! Perfect as Always!! You Look Gorgeous!! Thank You!! Sending Love and Many Hugs Always!! XOxoxoxo!!!
You didn't mention whether we need to reapply it through out the day?
A little unrelated, but recently I discovered a very moisturizing broad spectrum sunscreen fragance free, available and affordable in Latin America, cool for sensitive skin (chemical so you don't have to worry about the cast) is the Mustela spf 50 for sensitive skin, I also noticed it uses the same chemical filters as the purito centella one. Hope this helps some people. 😁❤
Anything I put around my eyelids burns and gives me contact dermatitis. What am
I supposed to
Do. I always avoided putting around my eyelids for that reason
I’ve been using the la roche posay spf 30 moisturizer for 5 years. It’s really good
I think I could use a moisturizer with spf on the days I stay inside all day long and I can't be bothered to wear sunscreen. It would feel like less of a chore. Maybe I just haven't found the right sunscreen yet but the ones I have tried are all greasy tacky and uncomfortable
Thanks Dr Dray. Happy Labor Day!
If I apply moisturizer with sunscreen on my body everyday in the morning, do I need to shower to wash off the spf before sleeping at night?
I apply sunscreen to my face, but I don't usually apply it to my ears and neck. One of the reasons I don't apply it to my ears and neck is because it will be hard to remove it from my ears and neck in the evening. It's hard to wash your neck and the back of your neck at the sink. Also, washing your ears might cause water to go inside the ears, which could cause problems. Any suggestions on an easier way to remove sunscreen from neck and ears at night? Is it important to remove sunscreen from ears and neck too at night or just the face? I could use cleansing wipes, but I think Dr Dray mentioned that she doesn't recommend them in one of her videos.
I use my cleansing oil on my face and neck and it removes the sunscreen.
Will it make a difference if I apply moisturizer with spf and on top of that sunscreen?
Happy Monday and Labor day dr Dray and everyone 🤗🤗 wonderful video. This was so important . I was never a sun worshiper even as a teen I still have acne prone skin at 57 . Years ago sunscreen was not as good as it is now and for years thought I was safe with just wearing a foundation like MAC or Bobbie Brown with an spf 15 or 20 . Since I went cruelty free and found your channel I no longer use foundations. I have been enjoying the colorscience spf 50 . I use the original with a drop of the new glow one . When I do want a bit more coverage which since wearing masks is rare I add a drop of the dermablend pigment drops . Have a wonderful day love to mom and Tybee. Can't wait till you it 1 million subscribers 🤗🤗🤗💖💖
Greetings Mary Ann Gonzalez hope u r well n Happy Monday😀👍💜....

When I apply my sunscreen with moisturizer (namely Cetaphil Pro Oil Absorbing Moisturizer With Spf 30) on my eyelids, it starts to burn my eyes in a couple of hours. It is also the reason I cannot use just any mascara. Do you have a recommendation for sensitive eyes with regard to sun protection? 🙏🏼
