Love Dr Dray's advice. I struggle with tinted spfs because they stain my clothes when I use on my neck. And finding a mineral spf with zero white cast that is not drying is a challenge as well. The struggle continues to find the right one. I've tried sooooo many...such a waste of $!

Very informative! Thanks for this! I am finally using a decent sunscreen thanks to your videos! A clear chemical sunscreen for whatever reason seems to work better than a zinc sunscreen with my super sensitive skin. I am grateful for the product recommendations.
This is definitely of my favorite videos, so much great information… I’m sharing it with everyone I can. Need to mention how gorgeous the color of your shirt is and looks fabulous on your skin tone.
I enjoy Blue Lizard australian products. Especially the zinc oxide stick for sensitive skin. It was recommended by my sister’s oncologist for good sun protection during chemo. Not terribly pricey.
I apply an spf 50 chemical sunscreen and then an spf 15 bb cream with mineral filters on top of it. Also often foregoing moisturizer and relying on sunscreen for moisturization. Happy to hear I'm doing it right!
ANESSA just came out with a cushion foundation sunscreen that makes it so easy to reapply. It`s called ANESSA All-in-one compact. The formula is moisturizing, but not greasy and reapplying is easy. Plus it provides good skin coverage.
I just bought a IT cosmetics concealer with spf 50 and a neutrogena mineral powder with spf 50 both for under $30 this is good for those gals/guys who wanna wear makeup and have spf on!
Happy Friday, Dr Dray! Thank you soooo much for explaining how to layer sunscreen. I was a little confused about this and this video was very helpful. I hope you, your sweet momma and little Tybee have a fabulous weekend!! 💖
Three questions plz dr dray for future videos: 1) what are some “actives” for eczema. I see sa, bpo for acne; tret for anti aging, and licorice root, kojic acid, etc for hyper pigmentation. What is the most useful “active” ingredients for eczema and itch? What about dishydrotic eczema on hands? 2) please make a video on what the scientific literature says about the efficacy of allergy shots/immunotherapy for those with chronic, moderate to severe eczema 3) what is Porokeratosis and how to treat if in the bottom of the foot ❤️ I sincerely appreciate it
@@db-gb5xi ive seen them all. My question was specifically regarding active ingredients that one should look for when purchasing products if we have eczema. The only ones I’m aware of is colloidal oatmeal, bleach, and probably niacinimide and panthenol. The numbing ingredient too in cerave itch relief is probably one too. Maybe ceramides, but not necessary? Anything additional that I’m missing dr dray? Also, actinic keratosis is not the same as Porokeratosis, as far as I know. Already saw the video on dishydrotic eczema-my question is more specific than her video.

Love Dr Dray's advice. I struggle with tinted spfs because they stain my clothes when I use on my neck. And finding a mineral spf with zero white cast that is not drying is a challenge as well. The struggle continues to find the right one. I've tried sooooo many...such a waste of $!
Use chemical
@@filterhead22 chemical isn’t great for those with sensitive skin
Yes..I use chemical spf..n wait for 5min...after that my Aussie gold tinted mineral spf for the last step as my foundation❤🙏thank you Dr Dray😍from Indonesia
I WANT TO THANK YOU ANDREA FOR ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS - thanks to you there is a chance to repair My skin from damage over several years🙏🏻🙏🏻
Very informative! Thanks for this! I am finally using a decent sunscreen thanks to your videos! A clear chemical sunscreen for whatever reason seems to work better than a zinc sunscreen with my super sensitive skin. I am grateful for the product recommendations.
What clear chemical sunscreen do you like?
This is definitely of my favorite videos, so much great information… I’m sharing it with everyone I can. Need to mention how gorgeous the color of your shirt is and looks fabulous on your skin tone.
You are my go-to when it comes to learning about sunscreen!
Thanks for letting us know about how to layer Sunscreens!
Hurrah! So glad to get your take on this!
Thanks for watching
Omg... I was about to start searching for layering different sunscreens and you just released this one ❤️❤️🥰 thank you so much
Thanks again for great info! Can you consider doing a video on specific spf clothing, hats, etc.
Could you please explain how mineral sunscreen that isn’t reapplied, can protect against sunburn but not against uv damage?🧐
Dr Dray’s skin is perfection
I needed this video!! Thank you so much for educating us about what we can pair sunscreen with! I had so many sunscreen questions!
You are the reason why I wear and reapply spf. Now I have 3 spfs50+ and tomorrow my mineral sunblock will arrive🙂. Thank you.
I enjoy Blue Lizard australian products. Especially the zinc oxide stick for sensitive skin. It was recommended by my sister’s oncologist for good sun protection during chemo. Not terribly pricey.
Yes, great products!
Thanks for all of this sunscreen information to ring in Melanoma awareness month!
I apply an spf 50 chemical sunscreen and then an spf 15 bb cream with mineral filters on top of it. Also often foregoing moisturizer and relying on sunscreen for moisturization. Happy to hear I'm doing it right!
All the other fads come and go but great skincare advice is always in style xx
ANESSA just came out with a cushion foundation sunscreen that makes it so easy to reapply. It`s called ANESSA All-in-one compact. The formula is moisturizing, but not greasy and reapplying is easy. Plus it provides good skin coverage.
Happy Friday Dr Dray ❤
You too
Once again- such good comprehensive advice.
Three questions plz dr dray for future videos:
1) what are some “actives” for eczema. I see sa, bpo for acne; tret for anti aging, and licorice root, kojic acid, etc for hyper pigmentation. What is the most useful “active” ingredients for eczema and itch? What about dishydrotic eczema on hands?
2) please make a video on what the scientific literature says about the efficacy of allergy shots/immunotherapy for those with chronic, moderate to severe eczema
3) what is Porokeratosis and how to treat if in the bottom of the foot
❤️ I sincerely appreciate it
She's got a lot of videos on eczema. There's one on Actinic keratosis as well as one on dyshidrotic eczema.
@@21972012145525 I see. I don't know if it would help, but check out a video from Dr Simi Adedeji in the UK. She has a good video on eczema. I'd check out Dr. Bailey Skin Care as well especially her blog. Though, she has a line of products so watch out for any hard sell on those.
I love how your videos are so detailed and jam-packed with great information. I always learn so much from you, I can watch any video knowing that I won't be disappointed. My skin has totally changed since I started following your channel years ago. Your vlogs make me so happy as well. Also, is it just me or are you looking prettier and prettier every day? Gorgeous glow! ⭐⭐⭐
You have been in my life for a mere month, Dr Dray, but I have binged your videos and love your research/science backed content. Oh - and the common sense tips… you are fantastic!
Just to share: I am a mineral sunscreen girl for my face, and I have not found the perfect one product. So what do I do? I mix my white cast fav with a darker tint than I need. I mix them both at the same time. I mix them like a painter mixes their paints… results in the perfect tint and perfect coverage.
Also - I do this with mineral and chemical for my décolleté….
Thanks for the great video!
I love this doctor !
Btw what's the best way/less harmful to remove hair when being on adapalene
See my hair removal videos and videos on retinol mistakes
Omg this was super informative Dr. DRAY you answered all of my questions about layering. Boy was I misinformed, thank u somuch.😮
Hi, please answer, is it ok to mix sunscreen and foundation?
When I mix them it gives a beautiful result on my skin
I try to get spf in everything I use. I always feel like more is always better.
Yey! Sunscreen content. ❤️
I love watching Dr. Dray's new contents everyday. 😊❤️
Happy Friday from Germany. Dr. Dray:)I like your videos so much. You're great!
Morning!
@@DrDrayzday 🤗
I have been layering different brand sunscreens and SPFs on my face and body WITHOUT knowing if this method worked on not. I figured layering different sunscreens is better than not reapplying sunscreens.
Thank you Dr. Dray for shedding light on this topic and putting my mind at ease. Since discovering you two months ago, I have gone from NO sunscreen to using sunscreens on my face and body, AND reapplying at least three times a day. Because of all the benefits of using sunscreens ,I have even gotten used to the "shine" and "stickiness", something I really detested, but now know is a MUST.
Your shopping vlogs have shown me that I don't have to break the bank to keep purchasing sunscreens and to keep up the sunscreen habit for the rest of my life. I cannot get enough of all you skin care UA-cam episodes. You are literally saving lives and life-altering disfigurement, one sunscreen and skin care episode at a time. THANK YOU !! 😎💖
Yeah i used to do the same before knowing about it
Wow Dr. Dray is a psychic...last night I Google “can I layer physical & chemical sunscreen” and Google said not to do it which I find doesn’t make sense. Thank you for this info, now I can confidently layers 👏👍❤️
Happy Friday Dr Dray !
Happy Friday
I never thought of the friction from blending makeup! It makes total sense how it could remove sunscreen.
