Actually it is more complex. America had an arms embargo in 1948 not selling weapons to Israel. The Hagana and then IDF bought weapons from communist Czechoslovakia for 48. I have read that first offensive arms sales by US to Israel was late July 1965, when the United States sold 210 M-48 Patton tanks to Israel. And of course, the Arab states, and Iran, had and have their allies too.
Israel is forever grateful to Czechia. Often cited as the greatest ally that paved the road for Israeli weapons independence later on. Israel gifted Czechia a Merkava tank as a gift for their trouble years later.
When Isrsel fought Syria, Syrians were armed with soviet T tanks. You can find leftovers of those tanks in the Golan Heights to this day. Katyushas has been flying from Lebanon towards Israel on numerous occasions. A few months back, Syria threw a monster mossile s-200 at Israel for the lolz (the assumption is that it was a. A mild payback b. They wanted to dispose of it).

I have noticed that when people rail against Israel, they almost never have a very good grasp of the history of this region of this part of the world. They routinely miss the forest because of all the trees in the way.

@@channeldos when Hamas was founded it was a religious charity organization that the Israeli authority in Gaza thought was doing good things. People didn't understand the dangers of Muslim Brotherhood organizations in the 70s, but now they do.

When they say there is no freedom, that all is God´s Will, that everyone has to Submit, Muslim means Submited,

Just do the numbers, one man has four wives, as they get to old to breed he dumps one and replaces it for a younger one. This man can recycle his wives and have more than sixty kids.
Sixty boys and girls get married if only half are male then the numbers get repeated.
Thirty men at least four wives thats one hundred and twenty breeding female wives.
The numbers start to go crazy, one hundred and twenty wives multiply a conservative number of five kids its six hundred.
One man four wives plus replacements, twenty or thirty kids, how many grandchildren?
In 1945 with a slow the arabs were not forced to breed and numbered 600.000 throughout all the various refugee camps. Gaza is an exception, the population has grown faster than other refugees camps. Refugees are now spread all over the place and we now have over 8 million "palastinian refugees" being supported for generations to come.

Reading this after my comment. They can't do that without the risk to be invaded by all Muslim world. America will do it nevertheless. How do I know? I dreamed about it November 2012. I can see the resolve on the emaciated faces of 2 agents backs against walls in a corridor. One was consulting his notes and told me We Know you Warned us. I did. 2012 connected to 2003.. Warnings being mostly about Islam + Communism.
Also I warned Israel about an invasion in 2021. Pride is our worst enemy. I would have not blinked when telling them a million ways to invade any country no matter the technology. Go to Switzerland. They are everywhere. Aggressive and condescending. The Swiss are nevertheless wiser than Israeli. They don't grant citizenship like chocolates.

If every sane person in the world had watched the terrible and barbaric scenes of October 7th and listened to what happened to the captives who have already been released from Hamas, they would have Join the IDF.
