Sabu needs to go into the hall of fame They use the word trailblazer a lot in WWE but this guy truely was one of kind and ahead of this time. One of the most underappreciated wrestlers of all time
Hall of Fame for what? He never drew anywhere, never was a real main eventer anywhere and his legacy is basically this: Botched every move, injured himself, injured others and was completely dangerous, reckless and a massive drug abuser. That's not worthy of any Hall of Fame.
@@abdulazeem6693 In the celebrity wing, probably because in murica he is or was well known (definitely more well known than Sabu ever was) So what's your point exactly? At least say Koko B. Ware if you're that desperate for an argument. And even he had more mainstream success than the self-harming junkie.
OK !!! Now THIS REALLY makes my day !!!!! I love this show anyways , but to have one of my all time faves , the legendary and innovative SABU on the show truly makes me happy ! I was lucky enough to meet the man and get my picture with him twice down in Kentucky . I even drew a picture and gave to him . Sad thing is , I lost those and all my wrestling autographs and memorabilia to an apartment fire because the dude who lived below me rigged up his own lighting for his snakes ! I was more devastated in losing my wrestling autographs and stuff than anything else as I cant ever get those back . Oh well 1 sorry to go off on a tangent . Cant wait to watch this !!!!
@@citizenbeeswax7985 No. All 3 died . Which sucks for him too . And I actually liked the guy , but I wasn't thrilled with the outcome as I'm sure you could imagine . Nice jab bro .
Finally Sabu! Grew up on “Wrestling At the Chase”. Seen them all. My top favorites are Flair, Van Dam, Sabu, and Race. Great show. Sabu is possibly the most dangerous in ring performer ever. Huge charisma. Keep em’ coming fellas.
Nobody has given more to thr biz and gotten less in return as Sabu. Definitely deserves a hall of fame spot for how he changed mainstream wrestling. Nobody else was breaking tables in 94.
Shows how clueless you are. Table bumps existed since the 80's and were especially common place in the smaller, most hardcore oriented territories. One of the first well known ones was Randy Savage piledriving Ricky Morton through a table in 1984 (CWA Star Wars). Even in the bigger promotions it wasn't unheard of, like Harley Race doing the diving head butt onto a table in 1988 (SNME vs. Hogan) or Terry Funk piledriving Ric Flair through a table in 1989 (WCW WrestleWar) so it wasn't even a new concept in 1994 at all, it's been done to death, to greater effect because it only was done once as a shock, not all the time so people got bored off it fast.
I always heard that the 'S.R." in Terry S.R. stood for Sheiks Revenge ! But who am I to say ? All I know is SABU got me interested in ECW through the magazines in 94-95 and I ordered a few tapes and was hooked ! As a fan since 85 as a kid my passion was waning for wrestling around that time . But thanks to Sabu and ECW I was gung-ho again on wrestling ! It was the kick in the ass wrestling needed . Something new and fresh and less corny than the big two became then , like Dungeon of Doom and Bastion Booger nonsense lol !
Mr brisco & Mr. Bradshaw can you guys do a episode or a short where you guys discuss greats like.lou thesz,Gene kiniski, pat o connor, buddy rogers etc... Watching this world heavyweight champion lineage wwe documentary. The great Jack Brisco said "Lou was my idol more than anyone" love these documentaries with thesz, frank gotch, hackensmit, etc.....
his infamous barbed wire match vs the late great mr Terry funk was in my view one of the most horrific; violent hardcore matches I've ever seen. Sabu belongs along with Terry funk amd mick foley as one of the toughest guys in wrestling
Great show fellas. I enjoyed seeing Sabu and hearing his stories in the business. Is there any chance in near future, you fellas having Bill Eadie (Axe from Demolition) on the show? Cheers

If Dreamer or Paul were booker of the new ECW and there were 2 no DQ matches per night, it would have been huge and Vince was fully aware
