This is day three of our journey on El Camino De Santiago. We are Vegans, walking the camino in Winter with our 6 month old baby son, and sharing our experiences, joys, pain and the lovely countryside as we go.
Today we walked from the monastery at Roncesvalles to the Albergue in Zubiri.
If you have any questions about the Camino that you would like us to share in one of our videos, please leave a comment and we would be happy to oblige.
What a beautiful baby.
Hola Matthew , just found your blog. What a great adventure 9 years ago. Question about feet 🦶. Any tips of what to do for vegans. People recommend wool , I believe but need to find something else. Would love your views. Indigo is adorable.
Wow! How inspiring!!!! What a great experience for your young family. I admire your vegan views! Just read a negative comment...HEy,the puppy needed companionship. not that he needed warmth of the indoors....animals ARE made slaves. I hope you make it...wow..and I am scared about just keeping myself alive on the camino..I leave in 2weeks. I am home on a rainy day just watching your saga. Thank you so much for filming this! Again..a great uplift !! Soooo cute little Indigo guy!!!
I am so proud of you. How beautiful to witness your growth as a family. These are the MOST interesting posts on UA-cam. Better than Gangnam and all the other junk. I remember you daily and pray for you. I also remember you when I recite the Rosary. Peace be to you.
Only day three and I am having a great time watching your blog!!!! My wife, Barbara, and I are planning on doing the Camino but for now we look forward to traveling with you vicariously....
I enjoy your videos very much and just think Indigo is adorable! I am thinking of you three as you continue your wonderful journey down the Camino.
Thank you for sharing your Camino story with your family. It helps me calming down missing the Camino so much because I also walked the road about 3 years ago. Good luck to your special time in the Camino;)
Thanks for taking us on your adventure!!!
Thanks for the info re DMSO... I'll pass it along!
I love Team M-I-V!!! You can do it!!!I feel like I"m going on this journey with you!

Loving your video blogs! 3 plus years and I'm only just discovering them. Thanks for the effort you put into your videos, you're right, there aren't too many informative video blogs made. Stills set to music just don't tell me anything!
You guys are always smiling! =)
Great posts, best wishes.
Yeah, I've been thinking the same for some days now - plse let us know. All the best!
Greetings from Lithuania :) It's very interesting to follow your journey. We did some hiking trips with our son, since he was 5 months old - so many familiar issues :)
Indigo is so cool. : P
Great video! I hope to walk the trail sometime towards the end of the year or the beginning of 2014.
Glad to see the weather turn better for you guys! Love your adventure! Question: How do you get back? Do you do a return trip...walking on the El Camino De Santiago twice?
Have you no plasters for your blisters? Great Videos. Wish I was there.
Vi sto seguendo giorno per giorno,
Bel video che mi ricorda il mio camminbo
La Coreana: come ci si può perdere sul Cammino di Santiago?
You're walking "el camino frances", through Pamplona, Logroño, Burgos, etc., and not "el camino de la costa" by the coast, correct? If you're walking by the coast it'd be a pleasure to meet you... All the best...Iñaki
Great videos! Thank you for sharing. Which month did you guys started El Camino?
I like the comment on animals being slaves....soooo true
Awesome but I do hope her feet heal swiftly as it can be unbearable to walk on any type of sore-maybe some of the dmso would help that too I've read up on it in the past
Such lovely countryside up there. Ask the Koreans for some Tiger Balm for your back! lol.
Hi Guys, How many days do you estimate it will take you to complete the journey? love the vlogs.
Okay, you two, it's been a few days now - should we be worried? Here's hoping all is well... --Linda
just started watching your vlog this morning and i love the concept. the only thing i have issue with is, "humans have made animals slaves" and "someone should bring you inside doggy." you say this as you keep your infant son exposed to the elements all day long, and the puppy was a mountain dog with fur designed to keep him warm in the snow. sometimes people just don't think about the hypocritical things they say.
I think the Spanish are a vibrant people, but I hate how they treat animals.Around 50 per cent of dogs in rural situations are chained up like that puppy(seemingly). Instead of fences, farmers put cows in tin shed-pens designed solely for pigs. What's to celebrate about the running of the bulls?....seriously! Goats/sheep/pigs....thrown off cliffs,etc.,etc.,etc. That is how they treat 'god's creatures'? They really think that god created animals to be treated the way Spaniards do? Oh,please!!!!
