Imo armor worked better in WW2 zombies. It was basically got each piece of armor up to 3 you could get 1 extra but before you die, but I hate how now it’s just all damage negated :/ I do actually like the plating mechanic over auto apply cuz that shit was straight easy mode

@@SpeedoodlemanCold War was far too easy and it didn’t feel like anything challenging. I get that they made it wanting players to easily pick it up and play but they made it wayyyyy too easy. It used to be challenging trying to get jugg, or even survive to round 30 now it’s just common practice. Also modern warfare games and black ops used to be so different but bo6 just feels like a MW game not a BO .
I started playing b03 ans waw2 zombies and the only reason that i was sat on the floor 4 hours in fucking groesten house until i got to round 53 was because it was scary, hard asf, actually something to flex and it was something playabel. i do not like plating system atleast in waw2 u have to save upp to get armour and it was all strategy and tf is this when u go down u dont loose perks thats bs.
Ye completely agree. I think the armor system should just go back to building a shield ngl but the ammo should be limited and force you to find workaround. Since cold war, not once have I hit the box or bought a wall gun because I ran out of ammo and it's quite sad ngl.
Problem with armor in CW, MWZ and more so in BO6, is not that it's there, but how it works. Previous iterations of Zombies prior to CW, perks like Jugg *actually* mattered. In most games, you would go from 2 hit downs, to a 5 hit down with Jugg. Then we had the shields in BO3, and BO4 which both offered you protection, but ONLY from the back, meaning that if you took frontal hits, you would still go down in 3-5 hits depending if you had Jugg or not. In CW, MWZ and now in BO6 that system was COMPLETELY redesigned, to where now in early-ish rounds, if you have all T3 armor, plus Jugg it becomes a 14-16 hit down. But it doesn't end there. Because now going into the late rounds, zombies on top of Zombie health increasing, so does their DPS. Meaning if you're in high rounds, and no armor is being dropped, it's now a pretty much just a 1 hit down even with Jugg because of how much DPS zombies actually deal. MWZ T3 zombies, pretty much destroy ALL that armor in one hit, and then you're done for. The mechanic vs DPS just doesn't make any sense. I hated the armor system in CW, even more so in MWZ when I had to manually apply it each and every time. I'm gonna hate it even more in BO6 with how expensive it will be, on top of how bad the point system is when you're talking about things like weapons, doors, perks, PaP, armor now They're trying to make something to appease a playerbase that doesn't even care about zombies
Great critiques! I agree with there being levels of skill needed to make the best decisions for one in any given situation! That does indeed make it feel more like OG zombies!💯
Here are some changes that I think would be great for the ammo situation and make max ammos useful again. First I'd make buying ammo more expensive the more you buy it (kind of like ww2 zombies armor system), or make it so that u have to buy ammo multiple times at the same price to get to full ammo like maybe each purchase only gives you a small amount of etc. I think that either of these changes would add more challenge back to zombies and make max ammos more useful of a powerup.
I agree with everyone in this video except for the armor Manual replating is so so silly, but so is running to an out of place armor machine Maybe we should scrap the armor overall
the thing about Call of Duty is that they base the gameplay around streamers and high skill players rather than around normal gamers, so i doubt that any of the real issues that matter to the average consumer are going to be addressed
Personally i would just make the map bigger and make it like TDM levels of PvP... Idk set the kill score to like 50-115 Then on the next map just bring back all the old details from pack a punch to four characters just lost in the world and chaos. Personally I think that there is a genuine way for both sides to win and I belive that this would be a good way to respect both sides while creating opportunities for the future. But when I say expand the map I mean only the 4v4 pvp. If its really good then who knows, maybe we could finally get a full Call of Duty Zombies game?
It just feel like this is what they want to do but they are scared to commit because of feedback. Just make sure to make some new maps with the classic attention to detail then why not? Besides I know everybody defending the game and saying to just play it are probably young, so why not take the vision they created into consideration? Remember when Sam didn't exist.
Cw armor system was harder because you didn't have backups on your person. Shield or armor broke, you have to runaround defenseless and go find station or the shield. Now you just refill your plates? Makes armor too easy.
Actually I disagree with you on somethings instead of getting ride of everything what they could do is make two separate modes the new one and old one double tap pack takes longer 4 perk cap old point system and just like bo1-4 was and new mode all the perks they have quick baby play as you called it for the pack but at the same time have everything customizable like bo4 was just will everything the two modes offer so it still fun and injoyable for new zombie players and old zombie players like myself they’d probably end up getting more players that way on zombies anyway maybe even multiplayer they did the same in a way since it’s online playing with people
You don’t need to think to put on armor in zombies, zombies don’t shoot like people to where you have to hide while applying it you can just walk and hold the button, it truly is just the same system with little changes, The point system has been trash since Cold War they definitely need to bring back the old point system and just re structure zombies completely so they can balance the point earning and difficulty
Would definitely like to see putting on armor be even more difficult but what I was saying is that I think adding that is a great step in the right direction, also 100% agree OG point system was perfection
why is activation sayin round based is back, Like What do they mean by that, we've already had round based in cold war, are they saying every map will be strictly round based, also exfils in zombies is shitty
Unfortunately they mislead us with that one. People who played early found out that it’s not fully customizable and you are locked to developer created presets, so if you want it to look a certain way you have to wait for Treyarch to add it as a new option in a future update :/
Lots to discuss regarding that but if I had to summarize it as much as possible, it’s essentially due to treyarchs lack of interest in pleasing hardcore longterm fans paired with activisions awful marketing of the mode. Both of these have caused all of this division in the community but it’s honestly completely their fault. Actually have a vid on the channel going over the awful marketing specifically if ya wanna check it out to see what I mean. Think I also have a pinned comment with more things on that vid and that + obviously what’s gone down recently just proves my point even more
