9:55 easter eggs are supposed to be super hard I remember being a 13-14 year old kid studying all the little steps for each map and would play all day just to beat it finally, it’s a problem when casual gamers are already getting to round 50 , yes it’s a problem when they come a paste the same stuff as the last cod … 4years and this is what we got … obviously you never played the OG cods respectively. So plz stop playing both sides just agree the game is bad for being in development for 4 years….
They should have expanded on Cod Ghost Extinction. They can still do zombies but also have another mode for a different feel for more open world stuff.
The loadout removes the entire point of the gamemode. When you play a map for the first time you should be desperately buying weapons off the wall trying to find something good. Or when you find the box location its a breath of fresh air. When you find Jug it changes the pathing you take through doors. Loadouts remove the reason to explore before doing the easter eggs
It’s crazy how someone said that out loud and a group of people said yk that’s a good idea let add it and the room gets blown up by a perfectly placed ied
My main issue is the creative leads problem. Their map and gameplay designers are approaching the mode like a multiplayer game, instead of something so drastically different like zombies always was. They did NOT understand the assignment.
yeah down to the game philosophy, the design for what they wanted with b06 zombies just isn't as good. What would be wrong with getting a unique ui, menu, music, having to actually spawn in and not just use a basic multiplayer loadout? How is that not something a proper separate mode like zombies should entail
@@aseelgamer7251 MrRoflwaffles should be the creative lead at this point he has more creativity and passion for the mode than most of the devs combined
They’re lying, this game did not take 4 years to develop. They are just adding together the development time of MWII, MWIII, and BO6 altogether. Hence, this is why we are still using the same exact client we downloaded for MWII.
Such a good point tho. Maybe it only took them 5 months to make this. It would make a lot more sense. They already have all the reused assets they could every want.
@@CamLenZ-no1vlpretty much what I was thinking through this entire video. Since Cold War, both IW and treyarch have access to all of the assets from both major studios as well as all assets from Sledgehammer’s standalone games. Not to mention several (what 8 or 9 now) smaller studios to assist them… with how unfinished the game was looking and behaving, if they really had 4 years then that is just depressing.
@@CamLenZ-no1vl rumour has it 3arc stole sledgehammer's multiplayer maps from the latest season of mw2023. if this is true, then yeah, this game did not take 4 years and if it did, there were some serious fucking internal problems. i'm calling it now bo6 will be the halo infinite of cod.
The fact that someone thought it was a good idea to change the mystery box music/sound and it got approved shows that the developers lost their love for zombies gamemode
These developers never had a love for zombies mode. They arent the same devs who gave us OG zombies. Its a completely different team now, a team that had literally NOTHING to do with classic zombies. So yeah, we're never getting classic zombies again.
@@akeelyaqub2538 Exactly, probably all of the old zombies staff moved on from developing the mode and that is why it seems treyarch doesn't understand its community anymore

As a someone who played tf out of old Zombies especially BO1 and B02 I feel like we need: 1: No health bar or DMG numbers 2: No Armor just 3 hits and juggernaut 3: The new sprinting mechanics makes zombies too easy i wanna have to train zombies not fly around like they aint there 3: Loadouts were i giant L to zombies 4: We should have to unlock certain areas for certain perks 5: If you want ammo you best get a Max Ammo not buy an ammo box 6: Perks need to be lost when you get downed 7: I dont mind the easter egg being guided but its an EASTER EGG you should have to look it up it should take hours or days for the community to figure out together (Feel free to add to this or give reason why it shouldnt be this way)
This pretty much sums it up. I’d add this: I think the map needs to be more claustrophobic, these modern maps are just “mini” warzone maps and that’s lame. There is no spooky, ominous atmosphere, no sense of danger and it’s TOO bright. It doesn’t set the right tone for zombies.
As someone who played tf out of old Zombies as well....we'll never experience those days again, I've given up on expecting these companies to listen, I'll wait for an indie studio to come out with a good zombies title, the community is begging for one and COD ain't providing it anymore.
I remember myself as a scared little boy that couldnt play bo2 zombies on his own and couldn't even listen to the song...after that game nothing gave me that feeling again
i remeber waw2, tried to play alone but couldnt get pat round 2 cuz was scared despite me knowing the eastereggs, groesten house got to round 52, stopped cuz me and my brother were tired
1. We were young - things will naturally scare us more 2. And most importantly, everything is so watered down now. Old zombies was realistic apart from pack a punch. The old maps were dark and dingy with tons of atmosphere. Now everything is too colourful, health bars, and overall too easy. There’s no atmosphere whatsoever. What’s scary running around carrying a fluorescent laser that shoots rainbows at zombies that can’t kill you, in broad daylight.
They’re catering more towards the younger audience these days in video games thats why everything feels so soft and trash especially for a game like call of duty. I don’t think it’ll ever get that feeling of the golden days back.
Your “hardcore mode” idea is literally just make it like old zombies up to bo3 •no armor •starting pistol •less UI bs •limited ammo •loose perks when downing you know, like real zombies
I really don't understand why it's so hard for them to just do both. We can have an "accessibility" mode and a classic zombies mode, but Treyarch just doesn't do it. It's frustrating. I'm about done with Call of Duty as a whole and shit like this is why. Completely ignoring fans wants while also tryna take advantage of them. You would think if you really wanted to make sales you would listen to the fans.
At the time, bo4 was considered the shittiest zombies ever. It was leagues below bo3, bo2, and bo1. It was considered a new low, the lowering of the bar, but now that they've lowered the bar even lower, bo4 seems amazing by comparison

I'm not gonna lie, I disagree that the map looks good, it doesn't fit the zombies atmosphere at all, it looks like a call of duty ghost multiplayer map
The biggest red flag is that this Zombies doesn't have any distinct art style and visuals to make it stand out from the multiplayer, like the previous Zombies always did to capture that horror and bizarre atmosphere that zombies should have; instead they made it a fully open combat map like Warzone or MW3 where everything looks washed and bland. In previous games, at least Treyarch tried to capture that scary atmosphere and make you feel stressed and overwhelmed by the undead; but none of that is here in BO6.
The first time I made it to level 20 in B02, I had good guns, packapunch, all perks, full ammo etc and the damn game glitched and had to be reset. @@Fadegalaxy-mv4mpYes, because the maps were actually difficult to navigate and you had to build up to get set up, not instantly spawn with everything in hand
@cubanreal7857 but they were. Bo1 was fantastic for innovating just enough but still mostly simplistic. But the next 2 games were even better. Only a small vocal selection of weirdos toting rose-tinted glasses ever seem to think otherwise.
No, they don’t care. Our complaints are the minority. Appealing to the warzone/multiplayer crowd is their strategy and when you look at it from that perspective, EVERYTHING makes sense. People forget that CW zombies was significantly more popular than BO3 zombies which underperformed compared to BO2. BO4 even more so
@@idripfl No, it's not nostalgia, the zombie games back then were objectively good. Modern zombies is objectively trash. If they built upon what made the first few zombies games great, we could have a REAL banger of a game, but no, they just had to "innovate" where innvation was not needed.
Honestly I miss the old zombie vibe. Where you boot up zombies, you have the scary zombie noises. You start with a basic pistol, you’re stuck in a closed area and have to buy your way out. And start doing the Easter eggs. Also want the difficulty to be hard, where your scared to love your good weapons, where you have to be mindful of your ammo and your surroundings. Anymore, you start with an OP weapon and you plow through zombies without even trying. You have 4 years to create a game, you know what the community likes. Add some of the old things back.
But you can do most of the things already, but you CHOOSE NOT TO. You can start with just a pistol. You can start with nothing if you like. You can do the Easter eggs if you like. You are stuck in a closed area until you have the points to move up. Why would they remove a feature completely because people want to be lazy to boot up a game with a pistol? Why remove the accessibility for a large chunk of the playebase? Why break something that clearly isn't broken? Also, zombies were no longer scary after B01 (2 If I remember). It clearly became a sci-fi type of mode. (Movie like), though i will say it's a bit nitpicking and just personal choice. I would like that. This is the prime of example given in the video that people aren't actually analyzing the differences and similarities in the game and just being too lazy to give damn.
@@oscarfunez3806nobody complained about zombies when it was more niche. The issue is the broader audience. Whenever something is good the broader audience catches wind and now all the sudden things have to change to appeal to the wider casual audience. It happens to everything. It sucks because I've seen it happen to so many things I like. What would happen if zombies remained ridged and obtuse in its design principles? It was like this for years and years and continued to see success. But now that the casual audience has access the devs need to cater to the bigger audience and not the most passionate fans.
Zombies being hard is what made it so replay-able. You had a round goal everytime you played and as you got better the higher the goal was. Like I remember being so happy making it to round 10 the first time

While I do believe this cod looks gross, and I want to return to the days of black ops 1. You're much better than the days of WaW and black ops 1. You have intuition when it comes to cod zombies.
The problem is modern era, fresh-outta-college game devs are much lazier, more easily influenced by garbage ideals, and far more entitled. Wanna know why games are bad/barely work now? It's a work force issue.
Not to be that guy, but it's much more likely that it's a management issue because most devs aren't lazy it's actually the opposite. Most devs face unreasonable deadlines. For example, the new mw3 was made in a few months. This was because higher-ups forced the now new and inexperienced devs to scramble and create a very halfassed game. Blaming the underpaid and overworked devs is wrong, and you know they went to college for multiple years right? If they reall were lazy these new devs wouldn't of spent thousands of dollars to go to college to pursue their dream. You're not entirely wrong, But Who IS to blame are the shitty high-ranking people in the company not actually caring about creating a good game just to make easy money, this work practice makes new devs leave the company along with senior devs too. Of course I also don't mean to be rude, even though I may come of as such.
@mornb I disagree is all. Even your one example, they were overpaid and got a career-making opportunity. A lotta people go to college multiple years, doesn't mean they're great workers once sat down in that environment. You're not rude, we just have different experiences with this.
@@Guntherbabies You forgot to add one thing, most game developers nowadays don't like games like old devs did, you could see passion behind almost every game back in the day even in games like the sims 2, now we have games like concord, star wars outlaws or every modern COD.

I agree with most of this, but the map does not need to be dark and scary. There have been maps that are fun and well made that are set in daytime and play just as good as any other
couldnt agree more with the first point, the map absolutely needs to be dark and scary but also hopeless, the lack of hope and the feeling of impending doom weighing on the player is what made the mode so great. even in maps like kino der toten where you could go outside and its daytime, it was still scary as hell cause they nailed the atmosphere.
Hottest take of the year: the last truly great zombies experience was BO2. We need to get back to the mysterious nature of what zombies was supposed to be. WAW, BO1, and BO2 all had grit, they were difficult, and it was supposed to feel rewarding when you finally figured out the Easter eggs. the entire nature of zombies changed with BO3 because Jason Blundell took over and shoehorned the Cthulhu motif into a story that was originally a shadow government/ scientific experiment gone wrong. There is NO creativity today and this zombies experience is just a gross amalgamation of stuff to make a profit
I definitely agree, black ops 3 introduced and changed so much on the zombies formula. More Easter Eggs, story, different themes, harder difficulty but it was so different from Black Ops 2. Much prefer WAW, BO1 and 2 than any of the other COD zombies game modes simply because they were about survival, the story was interesting and the Easter eggs/story was entirely optional. You could just dive right in and have fun
I think the only reason loadouts should be there is for the camo grind. Some weapons are mystery box only, making the absurd level grind even more absurd for the amount of weapons that will be in the game.

@Bannerlordfor EXACTLY! The map felt genuine! You felt as though you had to fight to survive, because you had to! Now, you're just some soldier in a town. I mean, mob of the dead had atmosphere, this is just.....bullshit.
Treyarch have been told a million times that b03 was the golden age of zombies. They just dont listen to what we want. I see zombies failing with custom zombies on b03 basically being life support. If it wasnt for b03, i think it would gave failed by now.
Legit, people thing that the only reason why zombies were good was Jason Blundell, but when in reality the whole creative mindset of the devs changed once you lost the main pillar of the mode... Bo3 wont last either, yes there are new maps and shit being made but it is still an old game on an even older engine, people should just make a copy game for us to play, like sker just a bit more polished.
@@RedFlytrap Round-based? If WAW devs could make an entire game mode on the side of normal development in secret in just a couple months, then these devs should be able to make something just as good in less time with their significantly larger budget and resources to spend on the mode. The crappy already-finished mode they already finished can still return as-is and even see updates if they want, but they really shouldn't be pushing something nobody wants so hard.
@@lightshadow3683 That's not how game development works, usage of HIGHER QUALITY ASSETS takes a longer time to create and make work within a game. It goes from sculpting (which does take a good chunk of time) to retopologizing, UV unwrapping, material baking, etc. They need to hit a certain standard in order to produce good quality content. It isn't something that takes less time because you have more money to throw around with a "larger team" that just isn't how it works. Secondly, we have a round based mode, as well as more to come which was already confirmed from Treyarch (the same ones who made the WaW zombies). They also responded to the criticism about Liberty Falls and the feedback is not being felt on deaf ears. Thirdly, saying they're pushing something "no one wants" is a pretty big understatement as the game itself doesn't look bad at all, it's shown that they ARE doing a lot more with this iteration of zombies. I may not agree with all the changes, but I wont lie to myself and say all of them are bad just because it isn't a WaW part 2.
@@RedFlytrap I’m not saying we need waw part 2, I’m saying they keep putting all the eggs into this shitty open world zombies experience that people keep quitting for older zombies titles anyway. I know there’s a round-based mode, but last time they barely did anything with it because the focus was on pushing a mode nobody wanted. I doubt many would fault them for experimenting, but we’ve had this mode for 5 years and the people who actually want to play zombies certainly aren’t playing this. They keep making this specific game mode so all 1% of people that actually want it can play it instead of developing something people care for, and somehow the same studio could make a better experience in every aspect of zombies with less resources and time a decade ago than they can now. And there is absolutely no merit with the “high quality assets” excuse considering everything even in the beta zombies mode is copy-paste from Cold War or multiplayer, and especially considering this took them 4 years where the usual development cycle is half that. I know the stuff takes time, and I know it certainly isn’t easy, but they’ve already had the time and we’re paying them $70+ per copy for the work - there’s no reason the bar should be set this astronomically low on a multi-billion dollar company’s biggest asset.
Most people who loved Cold War and think this will be good have this argument: Old school zombies was too confusing unless you just casually played for high rounds. Which I think is totally fair. Imagine you weren’t into UA-cam, didn’t follow those streamers who make Easter egg guides, and didn’t have a bunch of friends who loved zombies.. You would never have completed a single Easter egg. Easter eggs are insanely complex, and I gaurentee anyone that none of us would have even figured out the first step to any of them without some UA-camrs guide. On top of that, you’ve gotta pull up multiple other guides for all of the side easter eggs on the map. So in theory, we could have all played our favorite zombies map for 10 years, and never would’ve known that there was a way to get a secret cut scene, or a way to get a golden spork as your melee weapon , etc.😂. This is also part of what made zombies so fun though, discovering things, and learning them from others after having watched countless tutorials and then remembering it ourselves and then sharing our findings with other members of the community. Zombies developers lost their way in a similar fashion that many movie producers, authors, and artist do: They explained their story point blank for everyone, and held our hands to make sure we knew exactly what they were trying to get at. They left no room for discovery and none for self interpretation. In doing so they found themselves needing to add more and more and more assets to the game in order to tell this now obvious story. Thus, it became a mindless tutorial rather than a deep story game. The obvious answer would be “let’s go back to the days of waw-bo4” because of course those were far better games with much more effort put into them. But then you have to realize that the only way to beat those games is to watch 20 UA-cam tutorials on how to do so. It’s such a hard line to draw for treyarch and I can kinda see why they over-did everything.
bro i'm sorry but zombies just isn't what it used to be. those people that made ur favorite map and characters aren't around anymore. it's only newgens with newgen ideas

This list is ridiculously long.* IF Treyarch adds a “Classic Mode” they should get rid of the following points: •Remove the Loadout System and replace it for Weapon Kits. •Remove Armor. •Remove Rarety. •Remove Scorestreaks/Craftable Equipment. •Remove Ground Loot. •Remove Tier III Pack A Punch. •Remove Salvage. •Remove Upgradeable Perks. •Remove Self Revives. •Remove The Ammo Crate. •Remove The Rampage Inducer. •Remove Zombies Damage Multiplier. •Remove The Trial Machine. •Remove Mantle Mechanics for an Extra Challenge, (or make it an Optional Setting). •Remove Loadout Melee Weapons. •Remove Field Upgrades. •Remove the Cold War Knife. •Remove the Zombies Health Cap. •Remove the New Point System. Treyarch should add the following Points: •Add the original Zombies Health Systems. •Add the original Shield in every map with three scattered pieces to find in three locations and make the Shield themed to that specific Map. •Add the original Pack A Punch System and make the player gamble for an Elemental Upgrade. •Add more unique Pack A Punch Camo’s to certain Maps. •Add all the Classic Perks with their own respected abilities and a way to unlock more Perk Slots as an Easter Egg, (like in Origins). •Add the Classic Point System. •Add the Starting Pistol. •Add more Easter Eggs with great rewards that lasts the entire game, (for example; The Masks in Revelations, the Golden Helmet in Origins, the Dragon Wings on Gorod Krovi etc…). •Add Melee Weapon Upgrade Quests or Time Trials, (for example: The Golden Spork Knife, and The Melee Time Trials in Revelations). •Add Map Unique Melee Weapons designed to Kill the Boss Zombies on that Map, (like the Golden Plunger from Der Eisendrache or the Stake Knife in Dead of The Night). •Add more Unlock & Upgrade Quests for Wonder Weapons. •Add Shield Upgrade Quests. •Add Equipment Upgrade Quests, (for example: Upgraded Monkey Bombs like in Gorod Krovi and Upgraded Lil’ Arnies like in Revelations). •Add the old Zombies Moaning Sounds, the old Mystery Box “Spin and Jingle Sound” and Samantha Maxis as the announcer because she has the most horror vibes in her voice. •Add specific Map Designed Specialist Weapons with an Unlock and Possible Upgrade Quest unique to that map. •Add the original Knife that only is Insta Kill on Round 1. •Add a buyable Bowie Knife for the Classic 3000 Points which knives to Round 10 and make a simple little Upgrade Easter Egg so it Insta Kills up to Round 20, (15 with Widows Wine whilst not being Upgraded, 30 with Widows Wine whilst being Upgraded). •Add a Pack A Punch Unlock Quest. And lastly Treyarch should change these following Points: •Change the Mutant Injector to a Side Easter Egg instead of a buyable, (for example; The Dragon Strike). •Change the HUD to be more stylized and Zombies Esque, the Down Symbol should also be more Zombies Esque and the points should count up in the corner of the screen like in the Older Games for that satisfying feeling. •Change the way Perks disappear when downed, it just gets rid of the whole challenge of getting them back the way they disappear now. •Change Quick Revive to be the original instead of Self Revives. •Change the Inventory System so you would be able to hold for example; Monkey Bombs, Widows Wine/“Grenades”, The Shield, The Specialist Weapon of that Map, The Gobblegum(s), your Guns and another object for example the Trip Mine, the Hell’s Retriever, the Maxis Drone, The Dragon Strike, The Mutant Injector etc… etc… etc… at the same time instead of either Grenades, Monkeys or another Equipment such as these listed items. •Change the Movement System a bit to allow Slide Cancel which grants the Player “Unlimited Slide.” Oh! By the way, I said that Perks should be minimized to their respectable abilities so that would mean for PhD Flopper only to activate while Dolphin Diving, but since we can both Slide & Dive in Bo6 we should also be able to just “Banana Colada” through the Map with PhD Flopper like in CW. I also think that all the Maps should have their own Mutation Injector Easter Egg with a Boss Enemy that suits the Map. To clarify; Terminus should have either a Margwa, Brutus or a Thresher Mutation Injector Easter Egg because those three suit that Map. But Liberty Balls would suit the Mangler or even the Classic Pantzer Soldat Mutant Injector Easter Egg better. And yes, just like the Dragon Command the Mutant Injector recharges overtime to use again at another time. As for the other Maps, I don’t know what we will get so I can’t say anything.
I like to feel like we are the last 4 players left in the world... I don't wanna buy a fuvking killstreak, and collecting shit on the floor other that power ups or buildables is is just shocking I don't need 5 diffrent grenades or whatever
3:00, the reason the color is the way it has been for every warzone game except for mw2019 is because they tweaked the lighting system for the entire engine for warzone performance, so basically we get a washed out game that has looked the same for the past 4 years so warzone players get a little bit more fps. At this point in my adult life, I think im really just done with call of duty, its so easy to give us what we want, but its obvious all they care about is changing gameplay mechanics to support their micro transaction systems.
Yup same I dont even buy it anymore and I've been playing since cod2 with black ops games being my favorite, warzon, poor management and combining the studios / 1 engine killed it +sbmm
What you're saying is correct, but it's not the real reason. The real reason is they just rather make Zombies the exact same easy way they make the multiplayer maps and not put any actual effort into the mode, they're copy-pasting as much as humanly possible. Yes, the lighting works exactly the same way it works in Warzone, but it's not like they can't change it. They can work on the lighting, they can work on the maps, they can tweak the hell out of Zombies. They just don't care to do so.
The point system for recent games is what removed all incentive to use any weapons other than the best one possible, I feel like with how expensive everything is the old point system would compliment it very well.
OLD POINT SYSTEM IS SO MUCH BETTER! It’s the one thing about new zombies I literally cannot think of a single upside for or even a person that even prefers it. People either don’t care or hate it hah
My counterargument is that I don't see how difficult it is that it forces you to use the strongest weapons. Besides being "faster," there is no real reason to say the game is hard to force anyone to use just a shotgun. This also comes down to the health cap affecting this, too. Back then, there was no cap, so at the end of the day, you make every gun obsolete by round 45, and you are stuck using weak weapons (smgs) to make as many points as possible to be forced to use a high ammo capacity weapon (lmgs) and a wonder weapon to actually kill anything. So we end up with the exact same problem. New point system. Doesn't really affect this as much since there is a health cap and now I can just use any gun in the game. Why would I be forced to only use a shotgun? I want a real reason why I would be forced to only use a shotgun? Is the game hard? Ammo (which isn't even an issue tbh)? Because it takes 2 seconds longer? Because I don't see a real legit reason on this like at all.
@@oscarfunez3806 the old point system provides loadout diversity by giving weaker weapons more utility in things like point farming. half of the weapons in cold war and onwards are unusable because they are balanced around multiplayer health so they are just wasted space. If the old point system was implemented then these weapons would be somewhat useful. Its not a question of game difficulty and im not suggesting that the health cap be removed, its a question of arbitrarily making the game more monotonous and tedious when it comes to opening the map and getting set up.
@dank3christ It wouldn't fix anything since you just ended up using the weakest gun to get the most points. It literally is the opposite effect. Same old playstyle we have been doing since ages. I wouldn't bother with any other gun then. Which still makes my point valid. You choose NOT to use anything else.
Game developers have really set the bar LOW these past 10 years and its sad because people will continue to purchase these terrible games and they will continue to push half finished games for double the price. Most indie creators should get more recognition then these big name brands.
The fact this and MW3 are 70 is beyond insulting MW3 and MWZ are buggy broken unfinished games to this day and it's gonna be the same for BO6 the reason the bar is so low is the average gamer, they are braindead drones who just buy products and MTX regardless of quality as they have literally no standards MWZ is literally a broken unfinished abandoned gamemode now and people don't even care as they think BO6 is gonna fix everything and make it all better these poles are completely insane bleach drinkers, their brains ooze out their ears on the regular and it's only gonna get worse I just wanna quit
Take the zombies out the map, what do you see? Just another MP Map?? Maybe part of a upcoming part of a Warzone Map?? Because that's a serious problem.
People keep saying we're "nostalgia pilled, go play old cod zombies" But as a kid like many others, we felt progression in newer cod zombies. We loved the jump from WAW zombies to BO1, we mostly loved the jump to BO2, we absolutely loved the jump from BO2 to BO3. We were hope pilled. We didnt just love the "old stuff" People are trying to gaslight us like modern zombies HAS to be this... trash ;/ We arent asking for OLD zombies, we are asking to keep the same FOUNDATION other than placing some zombies and sprinkling fan service reminders.
Who is this we? You don’t speak for everyone kid lol bo2 sucked imo and the only thing good in bo3 was the old zombie maps ..the storyline should’ve ended on bo1 it was perfect..all they need to do recreate it
You seem to forget how much people complained about: BO1 requiring 4 people to do EEs on maps that cost 20 bucks BO2 having Tranzit and the Jet Gun BO3 Gobble Gums and Shadows of Evil BO4, WW2 and Infinite Warfare in general Exo Zombies being... exo zombies With every new game that has zombies, people want to piss and moan over the changes made. I for one welcome the game being a bit easier because some of us don't have the time to sink into doing a several hour long EE, but would like to experience all that the mode has to offer. Making the game more accessible isn't a bad thing.
@@Demospammer9987 I never really loved the EE's in any of them that much, enjoyed watching, but never personally wanted to do them. Never had the friends TO do them with really. But, Call of Duty just felt more fun back then. Honestly. Just like how Halo: Reach felt like the last Halo that felt like Halo. I don't know what happened, but something sure changed, and it's never came back to the days we had. WAW was fantastic, the custom zombies were great. BO1, eh some maps were a bit too complex, but it was still very fun and challenging too! Very unique maps with distinct atmospheres. BO2 had some very different maps that took risks, alot I didn't love, but I enjoyed Mob, Origins, Buried, and Town (not Transit, or Die Rise, but still), and BO3 kinda lost me. Because I didn't love how tied everything was to the easter eggs just to enjoy the maps, and they got so very complicated. Making an experience accessible isn't a bad thing, I don't mind some extra ease, but the mode wasn't always super bloated. Alot of the maps were just simple survival based fun that would go about an hour or two, maybe less time than that, maybe more, but it was fun. It was a mode that if you wanted it to just be over, you let it be, or you survived till you couldn't. I think eventually, Zombies loses it's identity, and it did so slowly, but by the time it had lost what made it fun to most in the beginning, there now is no turning back. The "Classic" experience is basic and challenging. It's not supposed to be for a wide audience, but for it to not be for that audience...it goes against what you should do game wise. Make a game for as many people as possible so they buy it...yet that diminishes the experience of said mode for all by making it too accessible and wide reaching.
Makes you wonder if they planned to have Zombies at all... And just threw together a map in their multiplayer/warzone configured scenes and just said "yup zombies"
Last zombies I enjoyed wasn't even a Treyarch one, it was Infinite Warfare zombies. It was simple, fun, challenging, and easter eggs were doable by anyone who did the grind.
Even if you can remove the HUD elements it doesn't change the fact that the HUD is boring and doesn't look like zombies. People don't want the HUD completely disabled they just want it to match zombies tone.
If you announce the "epic return to classic round-based Zombies" and your map doesn't have anything terrifying or even a tiny bit scary about it then you've done it wrong. Also there's nothing "classic round-based Zombies" about Liberty Falls....
Classic zombie and armor, killstreaks, self revives and shit like that can't stay in the same sentence. - Jug was our armor - wounder weapons were our killstreak - quick revive was our self revive - perk eastereggs were our wunderfizz Gameplay wise, this is what make a zombie experience "classic"
@@fabiobianciardi3987new wonderfizz is like the most absurd decision of all time. Like the classic zombies experience was the rng box and the teddy bear moving it and all that. Wonderfizz was a cool extension to that, it allowed you to get random previously unobtainable perks + no cap and it just felt cool. Now it's a menu. Like zombies was all about bare bones no menu all in game experiences. That's what made it great. All this random shit nobody wants just ruins the mode.
@@fysics5375 exactly. Many supporter say we "do not like changes". Well, we don't like bad changes... Wunderfizz you talked was a good change, second pap for elemental bullets was a good change, attachments for weapons in zombie after you level them were a good change, as well as boss fights, gobblegums, minibosses themed with the maps... Armor system, CW point system, rarity system, killstreaks, initial loadout, turning everything into a menu, overwhelming hud were all bad changes since CW and it all came back with liberty falls gameplay only because terminus was just a collage of barebone clips with no hud and not actual live gameplay.
Dude, after what, b01 or 2 zombies was never scary anymore. You honestly think B03 is scary??? You must be joking, lol. That's straight up like an action sci-fi movie. There is nothing scary about that😂
@@fabiobianciardi3987 Yeah I mean there are certain things game to game that I'm willing to see out. Like there have to be small differences that make each thing unique. The new gobble gum system and weapon rarity I think are fine enough. But the overwhelming amount of bad changes is just crazy. I think most people that talk about how they prefer CW/Bo6 style zombies simply haven't played bo1-3. Loading screens into zombies back then was all about the environment you were in. There wasn't any HUD distracting you, there weren't copy pasted ideas in every map, every game was unique because of the classic RNG elements, etc. There are so many identifiable aspects that made zombies great that Treyarch clearly lost along the way. And it just sucks for all of us that remember.
Maybe I’m alone on this, but if I’m playing a game because of it’s multiplayer/battle Royale mode, and I decide to switch to their sci-fi mode (aliens, zombies, etc.) the last thing I would want for that mode, is to look exactly like the multiplayer mode/battle Royale mode, but with NPC zombies slapped in there instead of players. I would want this sci-fi mode to have its own unique vibe. It’s almost like they thought that making it look exactly like multiplayer would be a draw, but I feel like that completely dilutes, the zombies mode from being its own thing. If I didn’t care about zombies at all and only cared about multiplayer - I would think that the zombies mode looks dumb. Because it looks exactly like the I already like with random bots.
@@malachaiward1659 Pretty sure he quit to pursue his own project. It was Deviation Games but they scrapped that and are on to something else now who knows. But yes all they need to do is strive to make zombies great but we don't know if we will ever get that again sadly..
I rarely see people talk about this but one thing I really miss in modern COD zombies is the 10s you’d accumulate with every shot that landed on zombies. It was easier to rack up points that way, especially on later rounds. Such a simple thing we took for granted in classic zombies
Terminus isnt even new. Its literally the map "Zombie Island" from COD Online from China. Even has the same sea boss monster at the end and the teleporting zombies. They think the player base are stupid lab rats who will shill any amounts of money for next years SLOP.
@lordcraigdragneel136 there's a video called "The Chinese Call of Duty with 36 Zombies maps". By the user named Reccollect At around the 20 minute mark you'll see exactly what I'm saying. The map is called zombie island
The reason why it's so easy is because you can get so much distance from the zombies because you run so fast and the zombies don't. On top of that, you have warzone movement which is hard for the zombies to track you and slows them down as they try to follow you
It probably not gonna be since a beta is exactly for that mostly people don’t even look at stuff and just go along with the big UA-camr so some ppl don’t even know what they talk about
I’m so happy the crew is back dude, I wouldn’t be as hopeful if it wasn’t there cuz tbh it can never outshine bo3 if there’s not a crew it’s a core part of the mode that should never be gone
@@NovaV.2it’s because of the end of the $15 dlc after bo3. They went free to play with Warzone battle pass. That’s why zombies took a big hit (the real reason). With the $15 dlc package - they had a budget and incentive. Solution? Bring back paid dlc for zombies or make zombies stand alone

To be honest, I don’t not understand why it has to be easy at all The game is made for 18-year-olds, not children. It shouldn’t have to be blatantly easy.

I genuinely think at this point there’s someone in zombies development that doesn’t want it to succeed. The blueprint for what people want is so clear. It couldn’t be any clearer. And time and time again they fumble. Just feels intentional this time. So many dumb decisions. Gotta get some people who wanna make real money in there, not people who only know how to make bad business decisions.
What I meant is they are not going to look like “zombies” at first, at bo3s launch literally NO ONE thought it looked like zombies, yet now people look back at it as the perfect example of what zombies is supposed to be. Whether a map is “zombies” or not isn’t always collectively decided upon at first and sometimes isn’t until well down the line after launch. We could have a very similar situation to bo3 with what we have with bo6 we just have to wait and see

It just doesn’t feel like Black Ops in general. Bo3 was the beginning of the end when they started adding abilities

Also, zombies were no longer scary after B01 (2 If I remember). It clearly became a sci-fi type of mode. (Movie like), though i will say it's a bit nitpicking and just personal choice. I would like that.

You can set a good atmosphere without the map being dark and scary
couldnt agree more with the first point, the map absolutely needs to be dark and scary but also hopeless, the lack of hope and the feeling of impending doom weighing on the player is what made the mode so great. even in maps like kino der toten where you could go outside and its daytime, it was still scary as hell cause they nailed the atmosphere.

IF Treyarch adds a “Classic Mode” they should get rid of the following points:
•Remove the Loadout System and replace it for Weapon Kits.
•Remove Armor.
•Remove Rarety.
•Remove Scorestreaks/Craftable Equipment.
•Remove Ground Loot.
•Remove Tier III Pack A Punch.
•Remove Salvage.
•Remove Upgradeable Perks.
•Remove Self Revives.
•Remove The Ammo Crate.
•Remove The Rampage Inducer.
•Remove Zombies Damage Multiplier.
•Remove The Trial Machine.
•Remove Mantle Mechanics for an Extra Challenge, (or make it an Optional Setting).
•Remove Loadout Melee Weapons.
•Remove Field Upgrades.
•Remove the Cold War Knife.
•Remove the Zombies Health Cap.
•Remove the New Point System.
Treyarch should add the following Points:
•Add the original Zombies Health Systems.
And lastly Treyarch should change these following Points:
•Change the Mutant Injector to a Side Easter Egg instead of a buyable, (for example; The Dragon Strike).
•Change the Movement System a bit to allow Slide Cancel which grants the Player “Unlimited Slide.”
Oh!

And it’s been happening since mw2019,
Yup same I dont even buy it anymore and I've been playing since cod2 with black ops games being my favorite, warzon, poor management and combining the studios / 1 engine killed it +sbmm

I’m crying 😂😂

BO2 having Tranzit and the Jet Gun
BO3 Gobble Gums and Shadows of Evil
BO4, WW2 and Infinite Warfare in general
Exo Zombies being... exo zombies
With every new game that has zombies, people want to piss and moan over the changes made.

@@fabiobianciardi3987new wonderfizz is like the most absurd decision of all time. Like the classic zombies experience was the rng box and the teddy bear moving it and all that.

And it just sucks for all of us that remember.
yeah zombies will never be good again until we get a zombies game mode like bo1, bo2, or world at war

At around the 20 minute mark you'll see exactly what I'm saying. The map is called zombie island
The reason why it's so easy is because you can get so much distance from the zombies because you run so fast and the zombies don't. On top of that, you have warzone movement which is hard for the zombies to track you and slows them down as they try to follow you
hopefully Treyarch listens to the feedback and we dont boot up bo6 on launch day and its the exact same
