Don’t you just love when there are decimal numbers for everything in the game… weapon names, ammo types etc… Then you get to a perk description and it says a “little bit more” 😂

When you test deadshot, specifically the ammo return on critical augment, test it with a bolt action rifle. I dont know if it's intended or not, but when I get the ammo returned, my character doesn't have to reset the gun by rechambering, it just let's you get multiple instant shots.
I think there is a bug with the phantom reload that will cause you to run out of bullets faster. If you look at 12:35 it goes from 16/71 to 20/66, so it costs the full 5 reserve bullets just to reload 4. It was only using 5 reserve to reload 5 bullets 10 seconds prior. And the normal reload right after the test shows that to reload 1 missing round only costs the 1 reserve ammo like normal. So I imagine if you only shoot 1 bullet at a time and let the phantom reload do its thing, you could absolutely bleed ammo. Also it seems like the amount it reloads is just 1/4 the mag. Another example at 14:30 that shows just how bad it is, 330/087 -> 340/2
It is Bugged Cause it also takes 20 Bullets from reserve While you shooted 1 so something is Not right with Phantom Reload Classic Formula is Better to run then the Other 2 Major Augments for Speed Cola
Wow very true. Even if you didn’t lose ammo from it I would still say it’s useless unless it gave you free ammo, period. Not pulling from stock. If you can reload your gun before the phantom reload even starts to kick in what the heck is the point of it then?

I absolutely cannot fathom the logic of the phantom reload, it feels like an oversight, and I would love to see people talk about it so it gets addressed
I know Speedy Roulette’s technically not *that* much faster but having 2 extra Fire Sale hits can definitely mean the difference between getting stuck with green guns or snagging a high rarity gun or wonder weapon. It doesn’t help that Quick Swap is only “helpful” when switching from the Beamsmasher to a gun for headshot grinding, and Speedy Pitcher won’t help that much for instant use equipment (Shock Charges, Decoys, and Impacts). Also originally thought base Speed Cola gave a 25% increase vs Classic being 35%… going from 33% to 50% is insanely good. Also, also, do *not* use Phantom Reload if you’re using the Melee Macchiato augment that gives you ammo on kills. It only refills your magazine and won’t give you more stock ammo… IMO the best combo will be Classic Formula + Speedy Roulette, especially in public matches when your teammates will almost always move the box and subsequently add Fire Sales to your powerup cycle.

Quick Note! The time that phantom reload didn't work was when the mag was completely empty. The weapon automatically needs to reload when the mag is empty, big shocker! So the phantom roload would be useless, for the forced reload would cancel it out.
I can tell yall the best match for PHD PHD Slider & Biologist Everyone knows what Slider does so no need to explain but for the second one, Biologist allows you to slider further and faster. Combine that with Stamina Up and youll be sprint sliding for days.
The only way i see phantom reloading being usefull is if you stack the effect on both your guns. Ie: use both clips completely, then pull out knife to run around for 15-20 seconds then go back to blasting. Obviously going to be more effective with guns that take ages to reload, where in that case it may actually take longer to reload both weapons (and make you more vulnerable due to moving slower) verses pulling your melee and running around for 20 seconds. Plus you can use that 20 seconds to train the horde to be ready to be shot again (or just do everything i just said in 5-10 second bursts)
The phantom reload is like something from coldwar, I'm pretty sure you are supposed to just swap weapons after you are out, and when you switch back it should be loaded up
They really need to bring back mule kick and have it replace the knife and make it so when you upgrade your rarity and PaP level that it does it to all your guns (plus additional augments like maybe bigger mag or more stock ammo or getting equipment and lethal from round flips and max ammos)
phantom reload needs to be able to reload all weapons and while shooting. time depends on mag attachment. your reload time x 70% reloads 25%. so for low mag fast reload attachment, you also get bullets in mag faster. result is the same bigger mag better, but still
QUICK TIP! When you buy a perk from any vending machine other than the one that has all the perks, if you buy the perk while punching it with any melee weapon or the gun bash you skip the drink animation entirely saving you time and keeping your weapon up in case theres a horde behind you.
I have on quick swap even when I’m upgrading one weapon. If I am not reloading or actively shooting my gun then I’m swapping to my knife to train up zombies or Dodge Zombies. Also with your knife out and being more mobile and Quick, something in your brain, sort of switches to avoid zombies versus damage zombies, so I feel more safe with my knife out oddly enough. Because all of my energy is focused on avoiding damage and being fast. So I just feels a little better to quickly swap to my knife. I do it so much in one game.
Being able to throw equipment faster will help if abominations because just like Cold War you can throw a grenades into the abomination mouth when it’s open it deals tons of damage
I genuinely can’t think of any reason to use phantom reload over classic formula especially since classic formula makes u reload faster than it takes phantom reload to even activate
I wish Phantom reload reloaded bullet by bullet instead of a bunch of bullets at once and still worked if you shot your gun, this way it'd be like a pseudo-extended mag, which is way more useful. It's currently what, 25% in 5 seconds? If it were 5% per second it'd actually be worth taking. There's no situation where you wouldn't reload your gun in 20 seconds but also not shoot it
12:45 I have not heard a "wow, magic" in such a long time. Also, I think your videos should have the exact data/math and then you make a quick short that's just "These augments are in my opinion the best for this perk" then a short description of what the augments do and then tell them if they want more detail to watch the video
Honeslty, i hate their definition of major and minor. A major augment should fundamentally change the behavior of whatever you're putting it on (Like PHD triggering on slides) and not just some srbitrary numerical buff to the perk/ammotype etc.

Also. Don't use the HARP. As someone who focuses on blowing up enemy scorestreaks, i can tell you it only takes 2 shots to destroy it, and yes, you can shoot it down. So its not worth building up to get one just to have it destroyed in seconds. Just spam UAV and CUAV's Chopper gunners are also 1 shot. We had a enemy player call 1 in and I blew it up the second it spawned in.
The fact there isn’t an augment that lets you plate while sprinting is crazy. Figured that would’ve been a given for COD’s smooth brained devs. Guess not though lol

The delay is too long, and it always attempts to load 25% of the magazine size regardless if there is space in the mag to hold that many rounds. It even consumes that amount from your reserve despite not actually putting whatever extra in your mag. Can be seen between 15:20 and 15:27.
Phantom reload would have been so perfect if it reloads while you’re shooting like actium warrig from destiny 2. But oh well. More gooblegums money for activition I guess

If your weapons mag is empty, switch your weapon and use it until it's empty and you should have ammo in the gun you haven't reloaded yet

The first augments numbers are wrong. You said 160 but it was 130. Add 30 kills to the non augment charge.
He restarted and burned another aethershroud. The 30 kills had no progress towards the recharge.

Need part 2. What about with fast mags on the gun? How much faster is this classic formula now?
The pistol we tested had the fastest mag for pistols and the LMG we tested had the slowest. So we showed how it effected the fastest and slowest mag.
