Doing the floor on my boat I did 3 coats of resin and I hope the exterior water based paint I used will help seal it up a little more.

no. i did use rustoleum but its latex. final coats will be oil based topside. Thanks 👍

With all the trouble you went through, would a Tarp thrown over the boat have tipped the odds in your favour ? Can that coating be used on an aluminium boat floor ?
