The reality is that it takes a lot of time getting things ready for our different projects..... if you've watched for awhile you know that we rarely do the same kind of work! Errands and a list are a must to keep us organized ... I'm sure you can relate!

Know all those places..especially Cuban's..great guys always going the distance to assist those of us who know less than we think. But, finding mechanics who show up and who know their business if far and few between. Anyone can say "I am a mechanic". These guys seem to know their business where customer service is the number one objective....RH

Yup Cuban’s is part of our stomping grounds we go there several times a week! Unfortunately some so called guys like to say they are mechanics BUT definitely NOT at our level if you’ve watched a few of our videos! Our worse jobs are cleaning up after other shops! 😮

As a corporate pilot I spent a lot of time in Key West. It is fun to see you walking by the places we would go when we were there. My boss would bring his 100' Hatteras down from Palm Beach and we would get to hang out for the week while he played. I just found your channel and subscribed and I have learned a lot already.

I've always owned boats, outboard motors and generators so when I retired as a state fire mechanic I became a boat mechanic on an island. They gave us a free mooring for our Catalina 36 as part of the deal. I was the "on the water" mechanic working on visitors yachts. They gave me a Boston Whaler to use for work and play. It was a lot of fun and very interesting as well. It was a nice 4 years since I retired at 56 so I was still young enough to get into the tight spots.

That’s awesome sounds like you enjoyed it! We do not work on boats moored only at the docks or boatyard! We’ve tried that mooring years ago but to many trips back and forth for tools depending on the repairs! Too much time in dingy and safety aspect! You never know what crazy’s boat you’re getting on at a dock a little more protection.

Really like your show. Real hands on work.
I noticed your wraparound sunglasses. I'd like to get your recommendation and if they're prescription.
Also I have a 1997 Evinrude 150hp 18ft boat in my driveway. I turn it over every month for 15 minutes. It had a solid 20 second warning alarm then I turned off motor. Restarted and no alarm. Could it be volume of water from my hose is low. Temps stay below 140F.??? Thanks.
