  • Serious Rust Repairs | 1963 Ford F100 BodyWork
    I have made some serious progress with the F100! I'm slowly moving along, panel by panel, trying to get the rust removed, and treated. I have been using several products, but some are worth mentioning. In this video, I used the following products:
    ‪@ITWEvercoat‬ EverCoat Body Filler:
    amzn.to/3sqadL2
    Eastwood Mixing Board:
    amzn.to/3Fngxq9
    The mixing boards were a total game changer! Much less clean up!
    I hope you all enjoyed the video! Stay tuned and make sure you subscribe!

      @@JakeHarrington as far as your “sell” possibility, I would keep it for a while after finishing it just to enjoy all the time you’ve invested in it

      @@frankminardo6120 I will most definitely drive it a ton, before selling! Lol especially as long as this project has taken me!

    I totally understand what you are saying about enjoying the process of doing the work. I am about finished with my Dodge Dakota and instead of enjoying it, I am wanting another project. Great work. Some people may enjoy seeing the metal work that you are doing. The cutting out and welding in new pieces. They might get some tips from watching you. Just my 2 cents. Thanks.

      That's good feedback! 👍 thank you! I will be sure to go into detail with it on the next upload! I plan to fix that nasty spot on the hood next! Actually, just took a break to reply to some comments!
      Thanks for your feedback!

    Hey Jake, congrats on the subscriber goal! I don't know how you handle multiple projects but it's impressive. I have a small update to my '62. I just need to finish editing it.

      I'll be lookin for it! It keeps me busy! I'm considering some changes that would give me much more time to work on these projects! It's still in the works, but I will be sure to share any big updates on the channel! Still in the planning phase!

    Any plans to find a correct year bed for the truck?

    • @JakeHarrington
      @JakeHarrington  2 роки тому +1

      That's a very common question! However, this is actually the correct bed for this year. The truck has been called the wrong bed, for the 63s because they switched plans halfway through production, and this was the result! But this is the correct bed for a 63!

      @@JakeHarrington Oh I didn’t know that! Thank you for sharing that, I’d say once you finish the repairs keep it. Just that difference makes me want to get one lol. Especially since probably don’t find many.

    How do you know if there's no rust inside the door?

    • @JakeHarrington
      @JakeHarrington  2 роки тому

      I did that part first! I put a rust preventative coating and then covered it with sound deadener! The whole door was already hacked up and repaired on the inside! There is also a video on that!

      Both doors were pretty rough, but the driver's door was already patched from the person I bought it from. So, hopefully that won't be as extensive!
