That's more than a gift to your dad. It's a gift to all of us who got to see the video. Thank you! AMAZING job!
Shredders man I really appreciate that! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
UA-cam needs more great videos like this
Drew Mcwhirter thanks and I have to agree. The things that are “trending” these days... 🤦🏻♂️
That "Oh *hell* yeah" Smirk at 7:54 is the same one that man did when he 1st rode one. Same as we all did! Now we're all chasing that 2nd smirk.
Hahaha that’s the truth! Thanks for watching!
Wow UNREAL JOB!!! What a lucky dad!!! Best UA-cam video I've seen this year!!
John Vansovich thank you!
@@RaztechPowersports any advice for someone who wants to do this I want to get my dad a 110 like the one his dad had when he was a kid also limited budget because I'm 14
Johnson Outdoors well you can duplicate these results with simple rattle can paint, but it’s all in the surface preparation (sanding, cleaning, etc). It would be a great gift, I would go for it!
I had this exact model brand new in 1984 was great ended up trading it for a paint job on my 70 Chevelle, I think they guy still has it in mint condition.
Absolutely gorgeous. It's just a shame these old workhorses aren't still produced. Such a great atc.
Craig Arndt thank you! I agree and now I’m tempted to build another one for myself 💸
Best utility ATC ever built. The 250SX is not far behind. What a great job and gift.Top notch!
Anybody else ever run a rear tire up the back of their own leg? I did, a couple times. . . every week. Rode the hell outta them things.
Ashley Drew Jackson you didnt ride a three wheeler if you never ran over your own leg 😂
Andrew Ashley Jackson yea couple times
I ran over my own leg one time and never feel off the bike! Just hammered the throttle until my leg was free.... Good times!
My 110 has a sticky transmission so its pretty common to slip and run over my own legs -.-
Yup i know how stupid that feels. Have been to hell and back many time with that Beutiful legend.
Hey Brad, I can’t believe how nice it came out. Awesome job my friend!
Thank you sir! My dad still rides it at least once a week and still loves it!
It looks mint. Your dad must have loved it.
Joseph Costello thank man and yeah he still drives it at least once a week 🏁
I remember seeing and hearing these when I was like 5 years old. Then several years later hearing the terrible stories about people being injured by them. Still that 3 wheeler is a total classic. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore for sure. Nicer restoration job sir. Your Dad is blessed to have a son who cares for him like you do.
Lukus Carter yeah there’s def a reason why they don’t make them anymore.. but there awesome machines if you have some common sense. Thank you and thanks for watching 👍🏻
Man that was great! I’m thinking about restoring my Dad’s old one that I grew up on. He isn’t with us anymore but I want to do it for his grandkids. When you cranked it up for the first time in this video I was hit with a refreshing rush of memories and I thought “man I really miss that sound!”. Thanks for posting.
Eddie Tyre thanks for watching! It’s 100% worth restoring to keep those memories alive
Wow! Amazing video an AMAZING tribute to your dad. Brought a tear to my eye.
Very nice brings back the good ole days
Props to you! I am happy for your accomplishing that and for your dad. I restored my 1990 Honda fourtrax 300 2wd. Not as well as you as far as the plastics but as far as electronics, and axles, shocks and bearings, frame, brakes and carb. Enough to know how much work is involved. After that I used it for 4 years hauling 20 cord of wood out of bush and with chains doing snowplowing all winter at grandparents farm. I sold it to a friend last year and it is still running. Honda must have made the most reliable atv ever. I never abused it but I definitely worked it to capacity all year round...
Those 300s are Indestructible
The machine of my childhood.
That is so awesome! I am 49 and have a 1985 ATC250SX that I bought brand new February 1986 and it is my baby! Still in 98.7% original condition!
John Tracy wow that’s is priceless. I’ve been looking for a 250sx project but most of them are pretty hammered
I when I joined the Navy in 1988, it was understood that no one would ride it without my permission! From 1988 on, it was only used when I was home on leave by me and others with permission! Now, I am in Florida and it is in a "barn" in the midwest waiting for me to go get it! Rode it 3 months ago btw!
John Tracy yep those type of bike barely exist anymore.. most of them fell into hands that just let them fade and rot outside.
Amazing work! Currently restoring 3 Honda 125M’s ranging from the years 1984-1985. They are so intriguing to work on and restore. Loved the video!
Great job. Awesome! That smile on his face.... worth every bit of your hard work. :)
Bro, doing that for your Dad......I had to live it thru you man, as mine passed a few years ago.....i never got this chance.Im so glad you did, i felt the pride you had for doing what you did for him. There are no words.....hope he is well and you and your family. Enjoy him, as hard as you can. May God bless.
Man I'm sorry to hear that and I'm really glad you were able to connect with this project. Btw he still rides it at least once a week and loves it!
@@RaztechPowersports Man, glad to hear that...Be well bro!
Definitely brings back some fond memories as a kid. My best friend’s dad had one of these, and he took that thing everywhere. That thing was a tank.
That's awesome! I thought he was going to pop a wheelie for a second there haha. Nice work.
That would’ve been epic
Amazing gift!!! Your old man couldn't have gotten a better gift for the holidays brotha. Awesome job! Even better video! Thank you for letting us all watch your video and seeing such an amazing time capsule! lol
Appreciate it and thanks for watching! Actually have an update video this week
Great job,I graduate high school in 85 the Big Red was already a legend back then !
Awesome job on the Big Red! I'm glad that you still have your dad to do this for.
billy barrett appreciate it! I know this video will mean a lot to me one day...
Watching this as I'm sitting on one
Jacob E haha nobody saw that coming in 1985
Straight out of the factory dude! Amazing job!
Outstanding job on the Big Red and a most breathtaking thing you did for your Dad.
Watching this video
You can actually feel the pride radiating from you at the revival.
This definitely earned this video a like and share and most definitely a new subscriber of all your content.
Keep on being that guy!
Blessings to you and your beautiful fam brother. 😎
what a motor those 250 were. i had an 87 fourtrax should have kept it!
I am a 56 year old man and my son is always helping me fix my 3 wheelers. You did a great thing for your Dad, I bet he is not only very happy but very proud also that he raised such a good kid. I knew he was legit when he shifted into reverse like it was nothing.
Michigan Jim really appreciate that and yeah he jumped on it like no time has passed! Still rides it at least once a week
Well done , and cheers to to your dad....the hidden joy from seeing something that he in his youth was fascinated with :) Nice to watch.
Quack Smack appreciate it! Yeah it was 100% worth it 👍🏻
Wow, my Dad still has the 1985 one just like this. He uses it everyday to get around the farm and loves it. It needs some work on the body as well b/c a fire melted the back end of the bike. I found tail lights but the mud flaps I cannot find. Nice looking restore. Looks great. We also have a '83 model.
John Evans just keep checking eBay for used parts. They randomly come up for sale
I got some extras laying around
I had one of these brand new when I was a young. Same year. Great job!
i got two of them still running strong my dad bought them with his 4h money when he was a kids brand new both 85 big red 250 love them to bits one had to get some work done to the engine other than that all original except for the engine work had to replace fenders on the other one. The other one got original engine and runs like a beast muffler got a hole in the pipe fixed that but its still louder than any other one i find on youtube great running machine still 34 years later love them glad to see you love them to.
ExpertGaming323 that’s awesome! Yeah I’m actually looking for another one for myself. I have big red envy now lol. Such a cool little machine!
Wow!!! Son of the year award goes to you sir....
I know this video is a year old but I'm blown away. Absolutely beautiful
Amazing job and a real credit to you doing this for your Dad 👏🏻

Good old days my cousin had the Hondz 200X and I had a Yamaha 175 we used tear up Fairbanks back then .Great video .
Great son...lucky Dad! Well done.
chalemi appreciate it 🙏🏻
Great job. Love the old atc and ATV's.
STUNNING JOB BROTHER! It looks Darn SHOW ROOM FLOOR IMMACULATE SHAPE!
my grandfather had a big red 250 I have memories of!
I need a Big Red for my collection. You did a great job bud !!! Thanks for the video 👊👊
Thank you sir!!
Nice job your a wonderful son, I dont even know you, but I'm damn proud of you . Spread the love man.
So cool man! I just got my first atc (185s) about a year ago. I want one of these next.
Just seeing this brings back memories. Looks great
OMG! That is a work of art! That brings back so many memories. That's from back in the days when we used them around the farm, at the hunt camp and just tooting around in the bush. Not like now with people trespassing everywhere, running in rivers and mudholes
CW CW appreciate it!!! Yeah man I agree. 4 wheeling use to be a way to explore the wilderness and get work done. Now everyone just wants to snorkel and sink them 🤷🏻♂️
@@RaztechPowersports Congrats on a job well done. Your dad is a lucky guy having a son like yourself.
Super Super job! Those things were the rave back in the day! Just looking at it brought back many memories. Thanks for sharing!
Haha glad to hear! My dad said the same exact thing. Brought him back to a simpler time. Thanks for watching!
Came out really sweet! We were lucky enough to have 3 generations go riding together with our big Red (Blue) . Makes for great memories!
Mr. Brian's Amazing World thanks! Yeah I can’t wait to bring my little boy riding
Man its the best I just taught my 9 year old daughter how to ride a 3 wheeler! Have fun and make sure to record it.
When I was a kid my buddy had an 84 big red 250, between that and my 89 Yamaha Moro 4 250 we raised a lot of hell. You did a great job on that machine. That’s about as nice as they looked new I’d bet
Beautiful! Keep it in the family.
K wow that big red is so clean. Great job!!!!!!!!
Beto Reimer thank you!
Nice bike man, great job on the restoration. Me and my brother are in the process of restoring 2 of them, an '85 and an '86. I hope they turn out as clean as yours, cheers.
Awesome job! Great memories for me as well. Love it.
Samuel Hamilton thanks!
I had the same exact one and absolutely loved it and miss it, they were dangerous if you weren’t careful and flipped many times however I swear I was able to get into more places in the woods with it then my Kodiak. Great memories thanks
That is a real family treasure. Great job!
David Luster thanks! Yes it’s never to be sold
That's awesome, man. I'm Kinda' jealous.
That's Awesome! Looks and sounds just like the Big Red that I used to have, Great job!
Appreciate it!
Oh and the Big Red looks great 👍
Man, what an absolutely cool thing to do for your dad! Well done son....well done👍👍
R Grimm much appreciated! Thanks for watching 👌🏻
Great work. I always liked the "feel" of riding a three wheeler. A lot smoother than a four wheeler when out riding in the fields. Brings back the memories.
Chadman yeah for slow trail riding, I enjoy it too. Now if you push it at its limits, your playing a serious balancing game lol
Great gift...excellant Jon
That's a really nice bike! Great job!
That was a fantastic job!! I have many memories and over 5000 miles on the 200 I had growing up. They were the best. I pick up a 200S Saturday for my own after 30 years!!
Donnie Willis appreciate it! And glad to hear you found that 200S. I have one more bike I have to find.. 96 Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4 in Red. Hard find because all the red one are pink now..
Wow that takes me back in time when I had mine very nice job 👌
Just sold a running 1985 about a month ago. Everything worked, even the dash lights and both brakes. Cool machines.
Nice job! I love the Big Red.
truckinforjesus thanks man!

This is so good, I love this
Awesome!
Soooo nice really good restoration my god what a gem !!
Appreciate it 🙏🏻🏁
Good job! Love the Big Reds!! We have a video up of them also.
3 Wheelers always remind me of the movie Road House.
Reminds me of police academy when they were on the beach.
Looks awesome
Had a 85 brand new when I was 10, Had the 42" Bush hog to cut grass too. My dad sold it on me in 95 , Man I'd love to have this bike amazing job !

Awsome I love it mine wish it looked a little like that even though it doesn't I wouldn't take nothing in the world for it great job man
Steve Owen thank you sir!
You did an awesome job of restoring that Big Red. I had my first Big Red when i went to the 7th grade for a present from my parents back in the late 80's, it looks and sounds just like the one I had. That was the Cadillac of utility ATC Three Wheelers!
T M thanks! Yeah man it still feels like a solid machine even 35 years later.
I'm jealous... looks awesome
