I first went to Sturgis 34 years ago, and I still get just as excited as ever. Here is our plan for this year, concerts at the @SturgisBuffaloChip , Camping at the Steel Pony, Concerts and Bike Shows at the Ironhorse Saloon with our pals from @CycleSourceMagazine , and of course concerts and shows at the Full Throttle Saloon.

I went fishing in Pierre South Dakota about ten years ago. When my daughter (5) at the time told everyone where her dad was she said I was in peeyourself Dakota. Classic

I once did an inspection of some water tanks in Pierre South Dakota and I was corrected very quickly when I pronounced the name of their city wrong. 😂

You can go cheep and camp. You can spent thousands at the Chip. I stay at Campgrounds and have tons of fun at most I've spent for 10 days is 1600.

I've never been to Sturgis but can't believe one year has gone by and Sturgis 2024 is upon us.

We’re leaving S.C. the 27th (with our toy hauler) and driving to St. Louis and staying the night Draft Kings Casino park (if it sucks don’t tell me) rolling out Sunday morning to Omaha for a night there then to Sturgis on Monday, staying at Glencoe. We do have a plan, the plan is to ride Needles, Spearfish, etc. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to beat the crowds. The only other planned ride is Topless Tuesday and the poker run for Wyatts Lemonade. Concerts, Travis Tritt at the Chip for sure. The remaining days are wing it days, local stuff, Full Throttle, etc.
Yes, I’ve done group trips with great people but damn I’ve missed some stuff because of it. Details omitted.

You'll enjoy it tons if you don't go to the Chip. The Chip is all about money . They will rob you blind. Great if your rich. The free stuff is great, Big Engine bar, and out front stuff is ok.
I was at Sturgis for a night two days ago. It's amazing driving 35 mph through the streets. 65 going out to the Chip. We'll it's a real city and fun when the rally isn't on. I'm headed to Lewiston to see a stroke friend. You will find, these 10 day will go by in the blink of an eye. After 16 trips ive found if you dont plan some things but be flexable to change for weather or things you didnt know about.
OMG, we going to have a blast🎉 We will circle the wagons and have a great time!

We leave Friday the second from California and will be there by Sunday! Staying at the BC the whole week before heading off on another adventure! My lady and I hope to run into y'all for a coffee or a adult beverage! Safe travels!
I believe on the 3rd and 4th Ryan kruesi from Kruesi originals will be doing a stunt show at the Thunder dome(beaver bar)

Found out you can't afford the lady. Chip is nothing but money. I stay other Campgrounds have twice the fun and most I've spent for 10 days is $1600.
@@toomey2wheels247 went one year on my own as fair weather riders were not available. Went in a bunch of rides and talked with a bunch of folks. Enjoy and be chill on the adult beverages as you are your own caretaker this year. For one chill day, I'll suggest checking out the history and then hiking Bear Butte, but that's up to you. Take care, enjoy.

Man had planned on going this year with a brother and some other folks but he was called to ride to the pearly gates unexpectedly so hopefully next year ..salute 🍻..have a great time

this is our 4th time going and always went with another couple or group but this is the first time we our going by ourselves so will be different being able to just do what we want to do when we want to do it

I'm going for the first time ever this year...from 6th-15th. I'm excited for the rides, but want nothing to do with Sturgis main Street bike week.
Toms Diner in Pierre is a good spot for lunch before you head out, not really room for a 36ft rig but none the less a good spot

I've watched your channel for some time. It would be kewl to meet up with you out there.
We just got into Hot springs today. To start our month long stay in the black hills. I love to get all the riding done before the rally and avoid the road congestion. And then during the rally we pretty much only ride during the day and use Da Bus to go party in the evenings. And do bike sWe stay in a few different places while we are here Hot Springs, Deadwood, and then for the rally we move the RV down to Sturgis for the week of the rally. But admittedly our situation is unique in that we are full time RVers. We are even going to go boondock at the Bad Lands after the rally on our way east to continue or journey.
You guys should join the bagers on the cruise ship High sea rally..
I wish. It overlaps Halloween and we have a younger child.

I am a judge and I planned the whole trip! BEARTOOTH, Yellowstone, Grand TETON and end of sturgis rally! Yahoo!!!!
@@scottwoldt7588 sweet trip we just came from Yellowstone, Teton, and glacier we spent a month doing the 3 parks. When in Yellowstone we saw the most wild life in the Lamar valley. We regretted not have a good camera or even really good binoculars or a spotting scope to few the mountain goats but got lots of buffalo and elk sitting as well as brown bear and foxes. Hope this helps you some.

Lulu's bar in Interior is the old Horseshoe. Stoneville is the one we skip, but the Buffalo in Custer park is the one we always go to. And the Porterhouse at Powderhouse is a must do. Perhaps we'll bump into you again this year (we asked you about the unique ways people introduce themselves to you as we all walked in the rain at Blackhills Harley last year) .

Maybe I missed it searching the channel but I would love to see y’all do a video on the do’s and don’ts of riding during the rally because a lot of the videos I’ve seen, it looks like a nightmare sitting in the traffic. I have never been but would like to make it next year and trying to figure out what to expect. I love y’all’s content and hope to meet y’all one year. Best wishes from the TX hill country!

sounds like I might run into you possibly saturday depending on your route and timing really being I'm heading out from TN saturday morning myself on the bike. I'm gonna try to be there for the meetup. I'll be doing the redrum warrior and veterans ride this year again. I may actually stay until monday morning to catch the Sturgis TT race being it sounds interesting for sure. So what day should I wear the Monkey security shirt?..LOL have a safe trip and I'm sure I'll see you guys at least a few times during the rally.

Just got back from the big S. Much more relaxed ride . Very few bikes, crowds etc Took all the rides. Prices are on the way up in prep for the show. No one had a problem that i was on a spider. HOWEVER! aa 3 pack of those mini three wheel wanna be things did show up at a bar i was at and the boss ask them to go elsewhere.

I’ll be in STL and O’Fallon MO from Aug 13th to 18th visiting my brother.
Well, we won’t be up there until the ninth for sure… don’t know we’re leaving the night of the eighth or the early morning hours of the 9th . take a buddy up there. He’s never been so we’re gonna miss the crowds or most of them.
We arrive in Custer on the 28th and leave for home on the 4th. When is the Thumpers meet up? Would like to represent the Unaffiliated
