That’s why it got pushed to be released here in June. It was supposed to come out back in December of 2023 but Disney made “New Regency” drop it because quote “it won’t make enough money”. Total bullshit line, it wasn’t woke so they rejected it. You can look it up, articles came out explaining it back around Christmas time. If “Focus Pictures” hadn’t picked it up we probably wouldn’t have even got the movie.
The one thing I loved about it is that they kept the dialogue to a minimum. When the guys spoke it was precise and to the point. This brought their characters across better. Adding the Funny Sonny character was brilliant and having that particular actor (no names for those who haven't seen it yet) play him was genius.
A good portion of the movie was shot here in Cincinnati. I have 2 friends who are in the movie and their vehicles were also used. The racing was done at Edgewater drag strip. It was cool watching it being filmed. A local theater here is holding a 12 hour motorcycle meet with showings of the movie all day.
I took the wife to go see it last night, surprisingly real. I was born at the tail end of the timeframe the movie covers and my father's generation is the guys in the movie. The vibe of the guys hanging out was pretty spot on all the way down to their lingo. Very much reminded me of get togethers when I was very young, minus some of the darker stuff, they kept that away from the kids back in the day for the most part. Best part was no political bs being it's based off a book about a real club. Was a trip too seeing Chicago as the territory, didn't expect home to be the setting. Definitely worth watching.
My girlfriend and I saw last night. We liked it. I've had the book for a long time that the movie is based on. The real Benny, Johnny, Cal, Cockroach, Funny Sonny, Kathy, they're all in the photos in the book. The real patch that they're wearing in the book is "Outlaws".

It’s based on the true story of the founders of the Outlaws M.C… It’s a interesting narration of the story from one of the wives of a Outlaw Member.. If you’re into bikes, and a storyline surrounding motorcycles, this movie is for you.
It was based on the photo book The Bikeriders. I gave a copy of the book to the Panama City Chapter of the Outlaws mc and they put it in their Memory Room in the clubhouse. Why? Because the book AND THE MOVIE which is based on the book, is all about the origins of the Outlaws mc. :::Skullster King::: SYLO
As an SOA and Mayans fan, this movie came up short for me. I went yesterday and was deeply disappointed. Felt more like a Chick-flick than a MC movie. They couldve done the whole movie in 45-60 minutes and also include when the new leader took over and evolved into a new club. If youre an SOA or Mayan fan, dont have high hopes for this movie.
The remaining men who can review that movie properly are now quite old as the youngest bikers of that era are among the eldest baby boomers/last of the pre-WWII generation. The movie captures the look and feel of the era which no other movie manages because it's such a niche subject. Being based on reality is why it's not a conventional movie. Club politics is why few bikers are in one for life and the political conflicts in the movie will be familiar. While the movie had to be condensed and include violence for drama there has always been some on the fringe. Men kill over money and power. One can know any culture by the quality of its body count because those don't lie. There wasn't really a lot of violence then and the outsider culture was really quite small, like the original chopper builders before the aftermarket exploded. The modern days of (some, not whoever anyone reading this rides with, but the OTHER guys you don't like!) clubs turning to organized crime were just beginning. Clubs as a refuge for blue collar rebels and misfits hadn't evolved into ex-convict communities given to follies like the Nordic biker wars in Europe. It was a brief era most notable for producing the lasting folk art of custom motorcycles. Unless you're in the vintage/antique/chopper world it's also deader than a pickled herring but it was fun while it lasted and you can ride the artifacts.
I love how you always talk about someone getting beat up if they cross a club member the wrong way. Some club members crossed the wrong (we were all Division 1 wrestlers and many of us were training MMA) during a spring break in the early 2000's over a billiards game. We beat the piss out of them as we should have, we trained for combat 5 or 6 days a week every week. Two of our guys kicked over 3 bikes of their as we were getting kicked out by security. LOL. There are levels to ass kicking. They found it out the hard way.

Hello from Nj first off great videos my friend always some common sense and some laughs. Just wanted to ask will your seat project ever include some older scooters like my 07 Ultraclassic or could it be modified to fit. Okay bud best of luck to you and your family take care.
It reminds me how old I am getting when a '07 is considered an "older bike". Guess my '78 Bonnie is now a relic & my '98 FXD a museum piece. Oh well, ride till you die.
Like the old saying goes, just because you can doesn't mean you should . I personally feel embarrassed when I see people wearing movie memorabilia and living fantasy in public. Just be real people. It's ok to just be you .
Saw it this morning. It's a great, character-driven, film. I was pleasantly surprised by that. I was afraid it was going to go down the stereotypical path that movies about bikers usually do.
Just watched your ( Daytona has a problem) I'm a retired cop and I agree. I suggested too a Lt Daytona cop they need to go to Sturgis and learn how to handle the rally. I don't go to Daytona rally these days. Keep the rubber on the road and safe travels.
The boys at Easy Co. Seem to have a lot of Panheads that come through their shop. They even raffle one time to time. I would love to have one ,but its just not feasible $$ wise at the moment.
Just watched the almost got my ass kicked. If it was blue that night you are correct, over the line and we don't need that stupidity in any club, organization, group. Keep the rubber on the road and safe travels.
Get a load of the t shirts and the hats and yes they have a leather jacket . With the full logo and state rocker. It’s not a patch. I think if I wear to get any thing. I would get the picture book. I did like the movie, saw it last night. I was expecting to see more of the bikes. The wife , that it would be more violent. Burning the bar down had the one of the best quotes “ They’re more afraid of us, we don’t have to leave. Next would be Sunny coming to collect colors that were not turned in. Then the new young guys being hard to control.
I think they did a decent job creating a movie based on the picture of the book Bike Riders by Danny lyon's. I believe Danny actually went on and joined the Outlaws MC but I can't remember for sure. it does follow the timeline of the Outlaws in Chicago in the 60'an 70's. even tho the club was formed in 1935. LOL like what ya said about dont buy the vest. that friday morning I had an email from zippo lighters "Order your Vandal zippo lighter now" granted I live 10 minutes from zippo factory in Bradford PA
Panheads have always had a place, but Knuckleheads & Shovelheads are respectable rides, especially if you can do most of service work yourself on your Vintage choice, haven't seen many movies in last ten years but perhaps with all time needed to recover from upcoming surgery I might catch it if online
I saw it too. was a good juxtaposition between WWII bikers and the Viet Nam era bikers. It has only turned hen house since then. In Hawaii we have over 100 clubs and you will find all of the 1%ers mingling with each other. It was a good movie and worth taking a look.
Of all the biker movies I have seen bike riders was the worst I didn't even finish the movie two thumbs way down in my opinion but to each there own. Ride safe and good things for all
saw it last friday, biker here liked it but not as much as i was expecting ey regarding bike shows my fav was Mayans :P also as a non smoker OMG THE AMOUNT OF SMOKING IN THIS MOVIE HAHA
ALSO NOT A SINGLE HELMET JEEZ I get it it's a movie but still that guy's death would have probably been avoided if he wore a helmet when he smashed in that car window Ey I had a crash couple weeks ago,got into a van, helmet and jacket did theire job,i'm fine Need to replace handlebars and break lever this week
I enjoyed the movie. My only pet peeve was the director had everyone riding around with no sunglasses or any eye protection at all. Hollywood always does this. Just lame I guess. When will they wake up. Perhaps all movie directors should go for an 80mile an hour ride with no windshield or eye protection before they make a biker movie!
Just saw it, it was good , not enough bikes , ha ha , but maybe that was in the contracts with hd it is their brand after all so maybe a profit deal the release date was moved , and probably was distribution rights hold up , because I got it in my market , and it's only a small city , compared to others , 60000 population , sound track could of been a little better , but again , you have to pay artists for their music as well .id like to know the films budget just because it wasn't a blockbuster supported project I'm sure ,no product placement but if your into bikes and that stuff it was done well .a bit long for the story .
I live here in Cincinnati, when they had an open extra ad to be in the movie, me and all my buddies were so down. Then before you signed up it said you had to be fully vaxxed to be in the movie. So much for the NOT WOKE comments!

Hello from Nj first off great videos my friend always some common sense and some laughs. Just wanted to ask will your seat project ever include some older scooters like my 07 Ultraclassic or could it be modified to fit. Okay bud best of luck to you and your family take care.
Not sure. I think you need to add a tongue to the seat right?
Going to see it tomorrow with the ol lady
If I add the movie memorabilia stuff to my Sons of Anarchy vest, am I good? Sold me on going to see it, hope you guys are well.
Then you’re juuuuuuust right…
The boys at Easy Co. Seem to have a lot of Panheads that come through their shop. They even raffle one time to time. I would love to have one ,but its just not feasible $$ wise at the moment.
👊🏻My dad’s first Harley 1949 Pan Head and then he chopped it out!!!!!👊🏻
Just watched the almost got my ass kicked.
If it was blue that night you are correct, over the line and we don't need that stupidity in any club, organization, group.
Keep the rubber on the road and safe travels.
Just went to the merch store the denim jackets do have Chicago on the bottom. Not a great idea for them to sell
Oh hell no!!!
LOL like what ya said about dont buy the vest. that friday morning I had an email from zippo lighters
"Order your Vandal zippo lighter now"
granted I live 10 minutes from zippo factory in Bradford PA
Panheads have always had a place, but Knuckleheads & Shovelheads are respectable rides, especially if you can do most of service work yourself on your Vintage choice, haven't seen many movies in last ten years but perhaps with all time needed to recover from upcoming surgery I might catch it if online
Every Shovel I've had ,it always had clutch issues. I think I have become an expert on shovel clutch nightmares. But I still love them.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie but I agree that there will be tons of people who will Tru and dress and act like "the Vandals.".
It's getting good reviews everywhere I look. Motorcycles and Tom Hardy means I will def be checking it out.
Check it out great movie and not even long
I saw it too. was a good juxtaposition between WWII bikers and the Viet Nam era bikers. It has only turned hen house since then. In Hawaii we have over 100 clubs and you will find all of the 1%ers mingling with each other. It was a good movie and worth taking a look.
Danny Lyon is a legend. His body of work is incredible.
Danny Lyons
Of all the biker movies I have seen bike riders was the worst I didn't even finish the movie two thumbs way down in my opinion but to each there own. Ride safe and good things for all
Got tickets for Sunday. I've got a full schedule until then or I'd be seeing it sooner.
saw it last friday,biker here
liked it but not as much as i was expecting
ey regarding bike shows my fav was Mayans :P
also as a non smoker OMG THE AMOUNT OF SMOKING IN THIS MOVIE HAHA
ALSO NOT A SINGLE HELMET JEEZ
I get it it's a movie but still
that guy's death would have probably been avoided if he wore a helmet when he smashed in that car window
Ey I had a crash couple weeks ago,got into a van, helmet and jacket did theire job,i'm fine
Need to replace handlebars and break lever this week
I enjoyed the movie. My only pet peeve was the director had everyone riding around with no sunglasses or any eye protection at all. Hollywood always does this. Just lame I guess. When will they wake up. Perhaps all movie directors should go for an 80mile an hour ride with no windshield or eye protection before they make a biker movie!
That would teach them a lot for sure.
Well said. Going to go check it out..
I'm 70 and have a Sons of Arthritis Ibuprofen Chapter shirt. Always good for a smile at bike night
My pops has one!
I live here in Cincinnati, when they had an open extra ad to be in the movie, me and all my buddies were so down. Then before you signed up it said you had to be fully vaxxed to be in the movie. So much for the NOT WOKE comments!
Probably a SAG rule.
Saw the movie last night it was a good movie I give It a 7 out of 10.
More bikes would have made it better.
Oliver Peck has an incredible collection and is a great guy. The movie was entertaining and gave a and a great way to pass some time.
