    That A-minor Bar cord though, I find it very very difficult to get all 5 strings in the bar sounding at once. But thanks for great short tio on essential R&B progressions. And I also love those turn-around notes you play before repeating the progressions.

    Just found you. Thanks. Are you familiar with the Curtis Mayfield songs of Major Lance (umm Umm Song, The Monkey Time)? What about Willuam Bell's classic "Can I Change My Mind?" I would love to learn these and more!!! Brook Benton's "Rainy Night in Georgia." Perhaps the saddest song ever written.

    It’s sounds like you were doing a descending lick there that wasn’t shown do you know what chords they are or the tab for it ? looks like it was on fifth fret

    you play those warm tones your 5,6 strings sustain them... then use your cleaner crisp sparkle tones on top chords
    Difference is... You get Two distinct tones 🥠
