What's YOUR favorite chord progression you enjoy playing? Post below!
Instead of am7 I like how the you can throw Am11 Lawwd it’s beautiful and bounce it to the 7 progressions
The third one 🔥
ii7-V7-I floaty feel with strong resolution to the tonic and all my major blues licks fit.
These are all great but I love the ii-iii-vi…dope🔥🎸
whichever one catches me by surprise.
Bro you made my whole year I’ve been searching for this kind of sound forever GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER!!!!! Helped out a lot dude

Perfect, more of the rhythm stuff! Very useful
This was a great lesson that opened up a lot in a little 👍👍👍
Thanks, Kerry! I’d also be interested in learning some of the more popular progressions in Gospel music. Also, what are the most common chords that are used in gospel? Thanks so much for all you do?
Man I love your stuff. It’s so funny, really the big thing that separates r&b are those added 7ths!, otherwise it’s basic harmony.
Good point!
Glad I'm part of Kerry's Kampers. Been practicing these 3 common
progressions in his guitar program but didn't fully realize how important they r until now. Thank u so much Kerry.

That A-minor Bar cord though, I find it very very difficult to get all 5 strings in the bar sounding at once. But thanks for great short tio on essential R&B progressions. And I also love those turn-around notes you play before repeating the progressions.
I cant bar any of these chords but yes that one seems impossible.
Smooth......
Man you dropping 💎
Your blessing the world!!! Keep it up my brothera
Oh my doc, dropped three on us 😎
So fire bro keep dropping
V,... C.. B... but not necessarily in that order.. YOU DECIDE! LOL Praise homie TY! Love Love Love

That neck pickup is butter!!! What strings are you using? I’ve used super slinky lights for the past 22 years and need to try something a little less bright.
Great video bro.
Thank you
Thanks man! Subbed hard!
holly shiet your guitar collection is sick
Just found you. Thanks. Are you familiar with the Curtis Mayfield songs of Major Lance (umm Umm Song, The Monkey Time)? What about Willuam Bell's classic "Can I Change My Mind?" I would love to learn these and more!!! Brook Benton's "Rainy Night in Georgia." Perhaps the saddest song ever written.
The Silver Skizzle!
Lovely content as always Kerry! I'd like to know, what's the thickness of your pick?
im pretty new to guitar theory and was wondering what it means when you say 2, 3, 6 and things like that.
Nice lesson!
Thanks!
Nice. However, l see you use ME 80, are you able to share the patch or please do a tutorial on the clean settings. Thanks a lot
goated content

It’s sounds like you were doing a descending lick there that wasn’t shown do you know what chords they are or the tab for it ? looks like it was on fifth fret
thanks for the quick lesson, dig the chord charts, they're a big help!
Can i play the same exact chord shape for the 6 on the 2,3,6 progression
How to do this with fingers or something similar I don’t know
what humbucker pick-up is that??
What kind of guitar are you using in this video it looks great and sounds great? Clyde Memphis Blue
its a PRS Silver Sky
How do you decide what chord shapes to choose for the chords in that key?
What guitar is that?
How long have you been playing guitar?
I started playing as a kid
hi, can i use this as a sample. just amazing rnb
Sure. Just give me credit if it's placed.
Question ....if im going to use the number system dont i have to know the key?
Yes
you play those warm tones your 5,6 strings sustain them... then use your cleaner crisp sparkle tones on top chords
Difference is... You get Two distinct tones 🥠
And if you play these you can play I Shot The Sheriff 😊🍺
The 2 5 1 dim....
Thanks, love this ❤❤
