My intro was arranged and recorded by Matthew Wilkinson.
"The only legitimate King is the one who emptied (humiliated) himself to the world"
HE EMPTIED HIS ENTIRE VEINS AND ARTERIES OF BLOOD
🌚☄️❤️💫
Yes!
Thank you Jonathan for your work and helping us see Christ. God bless
Man, so grateful for Jonathan and Holy Cross making this insightful lecture available to us this week.
I wish a Blessed Holy Week to all my Eastern Orthodox brothers & sisters. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 From a Latin Catholic. ✝️❤️☦️
Hristos Anesti!
Kali Anastasis, everyone. Good Resurrection.
Passion Gospels - right before the 10th reading: "They have stripped me of my garments And clothed me in a scarlet robe. They have set upon my head a crown of thorns And have given me a reed in my right hand That I might dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel."
Beautiful Orthodox Christianity, the early Christianity. ☦ 🙏 🤗
Hristos Anesti!
Ο Χριστος μαζι σου, Ιωναθαν.
Thank you for teaching me symbology.

Great show. Sorry I missed attending this in person, hope you have him back again soon!
The Image of the Icon unites all of the eastern churchs, Orthodox, Byzantine Rite, and Coptic. Let us unite in the image of the Divine Holy Family .
Great talk. Glory to God!
Thanks!
Shoutout to Father Patrick
I know next to nothing about art, yet I found this so fascinating!

Truly beautiful the picture you presented. Thank you
Thanks

🔥
Excellent talk once again Jonathan. One question though for anyone reading, how is the Christ Pantocrator icon reuniting these two aspects of victim and king ? I only see the kingly aspect in this one but I might be mistaken.
whats the symbolism of a clear podium?
fingerprints
> A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
That's how he conquered the Roman empire - not through a violent revolution which would beget only more injustice, but through own death.
43:25 what does he mean we dont have a tradition of the resurrection icon??
...baby dont hurt me, dont hurt me, no more!!
Lol
Does anyone still remember the song, except me? 😅 Wow!
Who can send this to Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris?
I-cons.
