Tim does a technique here called belting and what that is he’s using his chest voice in a way to go beyond his max of what he can do and he does it flawlessly
Yes, this is an original written by Tim. I love the 50's doo-wop sound, and the lyric's are so catchy. Out of all the songs on the album, this is my favorite. I loved your reaction, and I saw you dancing in your seat, girl. ;)
this is such a pretty one and it was co-written by Tim ! Yes an original ! they have those harmonies going perfectly again....I appreciate the doo-wop feel to this, it fits it perfectly...same as in their cover of Blue Aint your color.
@@jassydoll Chance sings lead in other HF songs, his switching bass line w/5 octave super-bass songwriter Tim who sang those high notes?!?, Rob's + Austin's voices + the rich harmonies + Adam's crazy beats..I l💜💜ve this song..
Can we just appreciate Chance's bass line here?....i know he was a bass in his former group but holy smokes....he and Tim have put in alot of hours Tim teaching Chance how to find his deeper register...
Yep, as Kevin said below, Tim’s showing off his 5 octave range on this one. He can go really high. This was a cute one. Tim wrote it and yes, it’s not traditional but there are many of those. Try Do You Hear What I Hear, O Holy Night, Angels We Have Heard On High, Christmas in Dixie, Tennessee Christmas, What Child Is This? to hear more traditional songs. Loved your reaction. Keep reacting!
It really is such a cool song, isn't it. Every so often Tim gets bored with singing bass and decides he wants to sing high for a change - and well, Chance still gets to sing as well. After Christmas, there's a fun video you might like to react to with Chance singing lead, it's called Think a Little Less. Tim joked that it wasn't a Christmas song, but it mentions snow, so close enough, the same as they put a song called Colder Weather on their last Christmas album. 😀
I love this video and song so much! Rob’s daughter asked him “how did they get you out of the snow globe!”
🤣 adorable

Does TIM have a voice or what?🙃
Tim Faust has a brand-new album out; Pieces of Me, Vol. 1. Doo Wop, a cappella style, but only Tim, and it's amazing.

I'm glad you said that...Tim said he wasn't a Christmas song because that was my thoughts as well...not a traditional sounding one atleast
