He was going from deep bass to high tenor in one song and I was so impressed altho I shouldn't be surprised considering Tim's talent and versatility. What a talented bunch of great guys. Tim's range is unbelievable and his song writing is so good. One thing I always think of when I listen to one of their originals is how hard it would be for someone else to cover them. This song, for example, requires an extraordinary range to sing as does Austin's original "Love Me Like That". And songs like "Road Sweet Road" (Tim's original) or "If I Met You Now" (Austin's original) require not only range but tremendous breath control.
It really is a crime how underrated they are! It's a shame. I've found that so many people won't give them a listen because they don't like country. I'm not a huge country fan either although I do listen to it occasionally. Home Free is so much more than just country music. They knock it out of the park no matter what genre they cover.
