The Flipping Idiot vs the New 18 Volt Ridgid String Trimmer!

This Video is about the brushless 18 V string trimmer I purchased from Home Depot along with the four amp hour battery and a charger.
I had watched some UA-cam videos and quick reviews on the tool and I decided it would be a good fit for me because I have almost no grass to mow but I have a lot of areas where I need a trimmer.
I also have a number of rigid tools with the lifetime service agreement on the batteries and the tools.
I was sick of mixing gas and oil in my old gas powered string trimmers, but I didn’t want to buy a $200 cordless, battery, powered string trimmer and have the battery go bad in a couple of years and have the battery cost almost as much as the tool.
Some Home Depot stores stock this string trimmer, but my local store did not. I needed to pick up some filters for my shop vacs as well as the small handheld rigid dust vacuum so I ordered it into the store and it took about a week to receive.

I took advantage of the 12 month financing promo so with a couple of HEPA filters and a three pack of handheld dust vacuum filters.

The total for my order was $360. So over 12 months I will be paying about 30 bucks a month for a year.
