Two pretty important things for her romance are missing in this video if anyone is using this for a guide: There’s a pretty big romance option if you recruit her early in drezen dungeon and there’s also a romance camping dialogue right after the areelu’s lab scene that’s not shown here.
I recruted early and the option to ask her about love (1:12) does not show up, did I miss something ? (When recruiting her, I use the dialogue about Elysium burning inside her, was that too much flirt already ? Either that or because I recruited her early compared to his video, this specific dialog is not showing yet)
What really bugs me in this whole romantic questline is how different epilogues slides from everything that was said and done during quest chains (at least at my ending that was). Arueshalae talks with MC about having a home and living together, yet MC ends up "often visiting her at her house". That kinda ruins the whole arc IMO
Presumably the MC still has Mythic Hero stuff to do at least some of the time, while his redeemed sex demon waifu tends to their dream home. It's actually wholesome af when you think about it.
@@steffent.6477 Before you retake Drezen you need to help the Desna priests in Kenabres, which unlocks the Azata mythic path for the end of Act 2. Before Drezen though, you can find a small shrine to Desna in Lost Chapel and if you place some items on it and solve the little code you appear as a vision to Arueshalae while she's imprisoned and can talk with her. Then later during the battle for Drezen you can find her in the prison and can pick a dialogue option that goes towards unlocking the Azata path in which you can tell her she's beautiful and she'll join your group on the spot.
I don't comment on things like this often. Arue is fucking precious. I played the game with the full intent to be with camellia and was turned immediately. Im an asshole who likes darker characters but Arue was just too cute. Fucking sue me. The succ is just too damn wholesome and her dialogue gave me diabetes. CRPGs and similar games are my favorites. This might be my favorite romance, and should likely leap from a bridge. TFW no succ waifu
Cam is hot if you like complete psycho hot. Sleep with one eye open hot. I started not liking Cam as soon as my alignment moved out of chaotic. Technically both ladies like chaotic aligns. Wouldn't mind taking both home together tbh. But cam is not likable outside of the correct align. Arue is more flexible *wink

I can't say much about the male romanceable characters but all the female ones have something deeply wrong with them. One is absolutely traitorous, another is a serial killer, one betrays us because of jealousy and probably the sweetest and most loyal of them all was a former grapist murder demon. Obviously there's more to them, but I can't catch a break lol.

Wish we had a dashing paladin in a game about killing demons and save the world... but hey left us with Seelah athat isn't even romanceable by anyone.
After the dance of masks dlc in her romance date if you will talk about having children with her. There will be added line in the ending slide that your house with her will be filled with children laughter that only deepen their love.

Some people have been hurt and it takes time to rebuild that trust on a romantic level. I have experienced this myself. This story is actually very wholesome and should teach people to be patient but not to the point of naivete.

Azata is sort of the canon way to do it, but overall, it's just a really intuitive and simple romance line to follow. Just be empathetic and don't be handsy (she even warns you up front) and when it's time, you have the option to make the two of you an item. There is no secret thing you have to do, there is no accidentally locking yourself out of it. (I haven't tried the disrespectful handsy options though, so I can't say for sure whether they disqualify you completely or subtract score points or what, but why would you even do it)
You can lock yourself out of it by never getting the camping scenes, which completely blocked the "locks self in prison" quest from firing in my game. And, if you don't know that the camping scenes exist, you have no way of knowing that not doing them will make progressing impossible.
@@AppleBiscuits I guess it's all pretty likely to not be missed if you keep her in your party half the time or more and follow through when things happen. I don't know firsthand how missable things are, but it's a long game and I only played through the one time.
@@mtaur4113 She was in my party from the moment I unlocked her and I rested frequently. The camp dialogues never fired and the Arushelae Imprisoned quest didn't start even if I spent months accelerating time.
@@AppleBiscuits idk all of the mechanics, but yeah, going fast and time skipping might do that. The game definitely is a slog and it's not great if that's the reason for your problems. I did Azata run so I don't know for sure all the differences.

Demon commander and Evilrue is basically a match made in abyss. Too bad we don't get to see more of it, so if we want a demonic gf then the only option is down to Nocticula. Wish there is a lot more interaction with her, or even companion quest to made up the relationship again.

I did just now my 2nd run with Arueshalae romance up to her last dream and followed this vid to 100% so far and did areelu´s lab as well. But after she tells me "i love u", we kiss and the dream ends. Nothing more happens again. Did write a bug report, maybe they will fix the romance but for me its bugged again! the same as in my first run so i will postpone her last quest till i am short before finishing my 2nd run
Hi, I don't want to spoil myself but just a quesion : Do you need to go full Azata mythic path to redeem her ? Or can you do it with any path but demonic ? I plan to play a chaotic good character following the trickster mythic path, but this romance seems really nice.
I had the same question too. I asked a guy that posted a similar video and he basically said that so far he only knows about Azata. Kind of a shame really, since I don't like the theme of this specific path, and if that's the case then I'm basically locked out of this one if I choose anything else. Oh well.
neutral lawfull druid Aeon playthrough still romanced and redeemed her, tho there was no info about her on the end game screens (maybe was fixed in a recent pathes, idk)
Update: some other guy commented on another video that he romanced her as an angel. So far we know about azata, angel and aeon. Not bad. I'm pretty sure it's alignment related, so long as you're not evil she seems to be romancable, however i can't say for sure since we know nothing of neutral or chaotic neutral yet. I asume chaotic good still could.

@@rgh1132 So I did some digging on toybox in relation to romance flags and found out that the dialog @ 1:15 is what's used to initiate the romance with Aru, if you picked the romance option at the dungeons when recruiting her then you won't see that dialog afterwards since you've already initiated the romance.

I don't remember if there was a romance option when I found her in the Drezen prison since I didn't do the quest that allows you to recruit her right away. She seems to be interested in my character though, not sure if that's the romance triggering or not though. I'll find out pretty soon though. I killed the Azata she had corrupted, couldn´t get him to turn good. Then I talked to her and had to burn the dreams which were not her own, all that was left was an empty table which we should talk about later. I guess I screwed things up somewhere.
You have to sleep for 3 in game days (doesn't matter if all at once or spread out). then she will come to you at the Nexus and ask you to help her in dreams again. I have seen people miss this simply because they rushed through ch4 and barely slept!
It's not. Actually, the ending where you sacrifice yourself while in romance with Arue is pretty sad and heartbreaking. SPOILER: She is still good. But she begins to escape from reality into the dream world more and more over time. Because for her that's a world where you can be together.
My prison dialogue was substantially different. When I chose Share your desires she backs off and that ended the dialogue. It looks like the romance may still be active because there’s an ‘until’ in her statement.
you told her you wouldn't take her to the brother and did it later anyway. how did that happen, is it just a matter of going in anyway are are you going to be forced in at some point
Stupid question but I'm going an angel path and how the fuck are you actually supposed to start the romance? Do you have to. Touch her hand or is there a more organic way? Seems kinda abrupt to me
You start her romance through 2 ways: 1.) Do the hidden Azata quest in the Lost Chapel before taking over Drezen and find her in Drezen Prison. 2.) Find her in Drezen Prison without doing the Quest and release her, she will reach out to you in a fee days. Do her companion quests all the time. To get the true love ending make sure you have her in your Squad all the time throughout act 3. Two VERY important placed to take her with you are: Areelus Lab Wintersun Camp and Arrilyshina (idk how to spell that goddamn) Never choose the Horny option, never, really, before she completely redeemed herself you will cherish and support her and abstain or else the romance fails immediately

the scene around 5 minutes into the video where they are talking about if she is an illusion. Where/when does that take place? I did something wrong and didnt get the good end so i need to reload a save. Trying to figure out how far back i need to go.
Seems that you need to camp in an outdoor area (not on the worldmap) for some dialogues to trigger, I had it happen twice, when on the worldmap nothing was happening.

Also after I clear the wintersun and camp I didnt get the option to touch her hand and tell her I'm real. I felt like you have to focus on her emotional side, if you try to get in her pant or too flirty then you will fail like i did.

I cannot think or comprehend of anything more cucked than corrupting Arueshalae. Honestly, think about it rationally. You are helping, leveling, listening to and fighting side by side with a romance option for at least 18 levels and 5 mythic levels solely so she can go and get ravaged by demonic cultists if you pick the [Evil] option in that one dream quest. All the hard work you put into your cute succubus companion - listening to her story about Desna, helping her kill that hag, making sure she learns about the dreams of other mortals, helping her with her nightmares and Dimalchio. All of it has one simple result if you make her a demon again: her body is more enjoyable for the CE men . Gave her a perfect build and equipment? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a random Deskari or Baphomet follower who had nothing to do with the way she leveled up, who decided to join her crew. He gets to have both his balls and soul drained every night. He gets the benefits of her one-dimensional personality that came from the way you told her to burn her dreams down. As a man who corrupts Arueshalae, you are LITERALLY dedicating at least several hours of your playthrough simply to raise a companion for other men to enjoy. It is the ULTIMATE AND FINAL cuck. Think about it logically.

There's also a romance point right after the completion of the Wintersun quest.

I didnt get that dialogue at all in my run, my character couldnt kiss arushaelae no option
If anybody is reading this, take off auto cast whatever ablity/spells you currently have.

I’m not sure if it’s a bug or I missed it but I don’t get the dialog option at 1:15 playing as azata, was wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

@@rgh1132 Might be an azata thing, checked on my angel and they had the option. I did pick that one romantic option when recruiting her in the dungeons though, did you?
@@Twizz153 i think better to recruit her in act 3. Just let her escape from prison in Drezen and join to your squad a bit later.
@@rgh1132 So I did some digging on toybox in relation to romance flags and found out that the dialog @ 1:15 is what's used to initiate the romance with Aru, if you picked the romance option at the dungeons when recruiting her then you won't see that dialog afterwards since you've already initiated the romance.

Hmm, okay.
I recruited her in Act 3 because I sped through the Lost Chapel sequence and didn't know there was a Desna quest at that location. I don't remember if there was a romance option when I found her in the Drezen prison since I didn't do the quest that allows you to recruit her right away. She seems to be interested in my character though, not sure if that's the romance triggering or not though. I'll find out pretty soon though.

I killed the Azata she had corrupted, couldn´t get him to turn good. Then I talked to her and had to burn the dreams which were not her own, all that was left was an empty table which we should talk about later. I guess I screwed things up somewhere.
Nope that’s the right path.
You have to sleep for 3 in game days (doesn't matter if all at once or spread out). then she will come to you at the Nexus and ask you to help her in dreams again. I have seen people miss this simply because they rushed through ch4 and barely slept!

It's not. Actually, the ending where you sacrifice yourself while in romance with Arue is pretty sad and heartbreaking.

She is still good. But she begins to escape from reality into the dream world more and more over time. Because for her that's a world where you can be together.

My prison dialogue was substantially different. When I chose Share your desires she backs off and that ended the dialogue. It looks like the romance may still be active because there’s an ‘until’ in her statement.
That's an instafail option. Any blatant advances on her before she's ready will cause her to back off of you, completely.
In that case I severely misunderstood the thing I was reading to help me through it. :(

Stupid question but I'm going an angel path and how the fuck are you actually supposed to start the romance? Do you have to. Touch her hand or is there a more organic way? Seems kinda abrupt to me
You start her romance through 2 ways: 1.) Do the hidden Azata quest in the Lost Chapel before taking over Drezen and find her in Drezen Prison.
2.) Find her in Drezen Prison without doing the Quest and release her, she will reach out to you in a fee days. Do her companion quests all the time. To get the true love ending make sure you have her in your Squad all the time throughout act 3.
Two VERY important placed to take her with you are:
Areelus Lab
Wintersun Camp
and Arrilyshina (idk how to spell that goddamn)
Never choose the Horny option, never, really, before she completely redeemed herself you will cherish and support her and abstain or else the romance fails immediately

how do you trigger the conversation at 5:59 in the slums. Found the location but it won't trigger. Do you need to complete a certain quest to enable it or something?

Can you please share what was the playthrough? You look like you're a Demon, but people say Arue leaves if you stick to Demon path. Or can it be prevented if you're CN or didn't give in to the rage during the playthrough or something?
Why after the scene when i kiss ker in the last dream i don't have the dialog to bring her in the room ? Did i miss somthing ?

It comes eventually in chapter 5. After you guarded her when she slept and promised Desna to protect her.

I did something wrong and didnt get the good end so i need to reload a save. Trying to figure out how far back i need to go.
Seems that you need to camp in an outdoor area (not on the worldmap) for some dialogues to trigger, I had it happen twice, when on the worldmap nothing was happening.
Camp in an area after Wintersun. Make sure to bring her to wintersun main quest as well.
Where and how to open all the dialogues in the Abyss? Otherwise I run everywhere with Arueshalae, but I don't find them

I mess up her romance in drezen dialogue i told her I would pay my essence for her kiss, there goes my 24 hour wasted, time to restart, this time I will make sure i pick same dialogue as you.

@@Lionheart605 i hope you are right, but I didnt get the same dialogue as he does and I'm in act 4 at the middle city her dream in ruin quest hadnt trigger yet. Also When I got the nexus key to the lower city, she didnt talk to me.

@@Lionheart605 I already restarted so far I got the same dialogues as Dana does. But before that I didnt get the option to tell her that "she should feel love, if she will allow me at drezen. Also after I clear the wintersun and camp I didnt get the option to touch her hand and tell her I'm real. I felt like you have to focus on her emotional side, if you try to get in her pant or too flirty then you will fail like i did.
@@Lionheart605 Also when you recruit her at greengate you have to pick, "I could use your skill", instead of "no dont go... please stay with me" or else you wont get dialogue where you tell her that she should experience love at drezen.

I cannot think or comprehend of anything more cucked than corrupting Arueshalae. Honestly, think about it rationally. You are helping, leveling, listening to and fighting side by side with a romance option for at least 18 levels and 5 mythic levels solely so she can go and get ravaged by demonic cultists if you pick the [Evil] option in that one dream quest. All the hard work you put into your cute succubus companion - listening to her story about Desna, helping her kill that hag, making sure she learns about the dreams of other mortals, helping her with her nightmares and Dimalchio. All of it has one simple result if you make her a demon again: her body is more enjoyable for the CE men . Gave her a perfect build and equipment? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a random Deskari or Baphomet follower who had nothing to do with the way she leveled up, who decided to join her crew. He gets to have both his balls and soul drained every night. He gets the benefits of her one-dimensional personality that came from the way you told her to burn her dreams down. As a man who corrupts Arueshalae, you are LITERALLY dedicating at least several hours of your playthrough simply to raise a companion for other men to enjoy. It is the ULTIMATE AND FINAL cuck. Think about it logically.

what a shame there is no romance with corrupted Arueshalae she is so much more hotter and so is her personality and her voice and her portrait and shes evil and i am playing demon path and i have wings with horns and tails we are like perfect for each other but sadly all you can do with corrupted Arueshalae is 1 night stands with her but it makes sense cuz real succubus dont know what is romance they literally just fuck with no emotions

She is there voluntarily because she believes she is a monster and belongs there. Convince her to get out of there.
