This week on BNF ASIA, we took a short drive from Vientiane along the Lao-China Highway to the stunning town of Vang Vieng. Known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich history as a tourist hotspot over the past 20 years, Vang Vieng has transformed from a backpacker’s party town into a destination that offers something for everyone.

Vang Vieng is famous for its adventure activities-think rock climbing, tubing, and kayaking-but if you’re like us and prefer a slower pace, there’s plenty to enjoy just by wandering around, soaking in the views, and indulging in some well-deserved refreshments. Even though the rain tried to dampen our spirits, we made the most of our one-night ‘staycation’ and had an unforgettable time in this picturesque town.
