Ah, so playing as a sorcerer definitely has a lot of the same responses as playing as a wizard 🥰 thank you for all of your content and for creating such a charming Gale-positive space, I'm glad someone else seems to love searching for all of his details like I do 💜✨
Aww!! Thank you 😊 💜 I'm glad to hear it. I had no idea when I started posting Gale content that anyone would be interested. I love it and I'll keep doing it 😌
I played as a cleric and at any given moment he would try to tell me my magic wasn’t real. Two seconds after meeting me he was like haha no I know magic whatever the hell you are doing isn’t magic.
Well... from the point of view of an Arcane caster who was burned by his relationship with Mystra, what a Cleric does ISN'T magic. To an Arcane caster in the Realms, "The Art" (and Arcane casters do refer to it as Art) is an arduous and expensive exercise in intellectual self-mastery and actualization, learning how to manipulate the Weave for themselves and alter reality to their whims. Of course they'd take a dim view on users of Divine magic (who refer to it as "The Power") who subordinate themselves to a higher power for their magic (which is deliberately limited and can be taken away at a whim), who don't actually manipulate the Weave themselves but beseech their patron deity and said deities servators to do it on their behalf. It's quite Old Hat for Wizards to be full of themselves and for the most unwise of them to attempt to usurp the gods, to disastrous effect.
It’s kinda like saying you can play the piano and then play a recording of someone playing on your phone. You don’t magic, you channel god powers though, not the weave
He did the same to my cleric (obviously). I'm sitting here like "Buddy, you worship the weave and Mystra. The way you describe using arcane power is the same as being a divine conduit. The only difference between you and me is that while you were shut in a library, I went to mace practice."
I'm currently playing as Wizard/Rogue/Cleric (I dipped into war domain so I could get armor proficiency, needed to buff up my squish build) being a Cleric of Mystra throws up some interesting dialogue, it got baffling towards the end of Act 1 but now it's sweet. Gale is such a sweetie 🥰I've romanced him far too many times all the other companions are just like really girl...
I pulled myself away from Astarion to romance Gale and the poor guy is now stuck in the time out corner as he dumped me. I love this goofy wizard and all his pompousness and his wordyness but I have no idea how to get Prof. Gale rather than God Gale. I've only managed to get him not a God once in like, 5 play throughs. Help! =(
Tell him "you love him for the man he is", and then say "plenty in time." Any time that thing comes up be like "No baby, we don't need it." Be firm, don't tell him what he wants you to hear, or he might get some silly ideas at end game. I hope that helps. I'm always happy to help a fellow Galemancer
Thank you for sharing! As a noob to the grander scheme of the mythos and lore of DnD, I really appreciate it. I'm actually thinking of doing a video essay dipping into this info because the more I learn, the more I want to know. It's so fascinating to me.
Apparently, answering him with a kiss after a certain point is no longer an affirmative one. The next day, he thought we weren't going for the crown.
"With you, I forget my goddess"
Exactly what the butler said to Durge "he would forget his god for you, but you won't for him."
Astrion and Gale are like "WE COULD BE SO POWERFUL" and my tav is like " 100% but no were staying cozy "
“you put the stars to shame” WHEN IS IT MY TURN
I love this damn wizard so much it's becoming a problem.
I can't stop romancing him and it's a problem! I want to give someone else a chance, but I melt when he wants to teach me some magic 😭
Don't let your love destroy himself challenge
Normal mode: Gale
Hard mode: Astarion

For me, gales always a homie. But im glad you nerds are out there giving him action.
He is so crazy but so loveable.. 😥
Not crazyer than the rest of the group
@@downtheLimbus I would argue Karlach isn't crazy. She just wants to live free.
Evidently Gale has never heard the phrase "Pride before the fall" before 👀
Icarus's wings

Lol, he can be so pompous! Someone tell him that Shadowheart is the agreed upon, designated gatekeeper.

my 8 intelligence paladin slapping things with magic until they die

sidenote but i love the deep voiced femme option
me too, I thought it suited this Tav really well.
bro got me kicking my feet and giggling
Every level 20 Wizard ever.

That's interesting about being a cleric of Mystra, I might have to play one just to see. Looove Gale 💖
Gale x laezel will always be my head canon, like laezel ascending to godhood would piss the gith lich queen off a fuck tonne.
Aww, that rules! It totally would, too.

@@Kimbersism Thank you. I'll give that a shot as soon as he's out of the corner. =)
What armor is Gale wearing?
The Potent Robe you get from Alfira
Gale has that unspoken "please love me" about him, and its unlikable, its like nannying a child.
The only reason the gods cower and refuse to intervene is that Ao does not permitt them to. He did once turn every god mortal because of this
