I actually like the song, so every time the game would cut it off I'd get pissed because I'm that guy that has to finish a song I like when I hear the beginning (Think Cartman with Come Sail Away)
The prepper stash where there's dogs inside and you have to dig through poop. There is a dog sitting next to another dead dog and he's just staring at him all sad. Broke my heart 😢😞
That whole situation made me sad, all those dogs locked up in that building and some of them died😭 when i left the place i kept the door open for them for so long so they could all get out but some of them just wouldn't even escape. I have to say i know it's just a game but that was pretty weird of the game that they made it that way that the dogs didn't even leave the building. That made me sad😂
The spookiest thing about the hotel imo may actually be the letter you find addressed to Faith (in the laundry room I believe, but I can’t remember for sure) that reveals there has actually been multiple “Faith”s, replacing each other over the years the cult has existed for. I had to reread it a few times, but damn, shiver central.
The messages on the old style phones are also from Faith, at least most of them are so it's possibly true that all of them are from her. According to another videdo, 'Faith' isn't even her real name (can't remember what it is) and she used to be a drug addict and hater. I haven't done her region yet (taking my time to enjoy it all) so I can't confirm.
lwaves The 'Faith' you face in the game is really named Rachel. There was also a 'Lana' and another girl whose name I can't recall at the moment. I've found 3 Faith letter so far, idk if there are more anywhere else in the game. I think those 3 are the only ones in Faith's region, I've explored it pretty thoroughly so far. I'm in Jacob's region now and I don't recall any references to the multiple 'Faith Seeds' in John's region. I love exploring the nooks and crannies of this game.
In John’s region, if you travel up to the “YES” sign on the mountain. Someone has graffitied “Joseph Seed stinks!”. Then if you start destroying the sign with a helicopter, a sudden mission will pop up saying to destroy the whole thing. Which you’ll obviously get XP and cash in doing so. Edit: ok it says “the father stinks”...whatever. Same person. Don’t y’all have better things to do than reiterate a point one person already clarified?
That''s the first thing I did as I entered John's mission and saw the giant sign. There is also a stash of weapons and RPG just below the sign that you can use if you travel on foot.
Far Cry 5 does an excellent job of being creepy for being not a horror game. While Montana may be a beautiful land to explore it also has it's fair share of creepy locations.
80% of these "cool locations you may have missed" you will naturally come across in the course of completing the main mission and the prepper's stash side-missions.
You can find the crashed helicopter and Joseph's arrest warrant from the beginning of the game just to the right of the entrance to Joseph's compound inside the fence.
Number 5 is actually a reference to IT. In the attic, there’s a red balloon, children’s shoes, a note from a psychotic clown, and a recording of evil laughter
If you come back to the radon spa after “defeating” faith she becomes a friendly ghost companion ( just within the cave) she has the ability to go down as if injured in combat and will also deactivate all the angels from waking 😉
Wait if there is a safe in Jacob's fortress does that mean the dev's wanted you to get to that location because safes are only in spots that are accessible to us?!?
In the same vein as that mega parkour cave in this list is Raptor Peak, the mountain in the north of Faith’s region which is I think the tallest, and is definitely the steepest, mountain in the game. You can climb it with a series of grapple climbs and swings to see both some incredible views of the county and the nests of some killer eagles adorned with human bones, and at the top there’s a stash guarded by the resistance, who are fighting off the huge eagles of the mountain.

what I love about far cry 5 that it forces you to explore the world with the RP system. I was doing faith region last and in the end nearing lvl 5 I was like "hummm what would really piss her off?" Most far cry games you simply hunt down the villains, in far cry 5 you want the villains to hunt you. Because they try to convert you, so you feign incompetence or stupidity so they'll give you up for a lost cause and then you single handedly take over all of their outposts, it's just so fun fucking with them. especially jacob and faith, when you dilberately go the wrong direction during the drug trips or try to do a pacifist run during the pavlovian conditioning. I can proudly say that I tested Faiths faith. "Oh look a butterfly, oh cool a jackelope, I'm gonna hang out with the jackalope for a while if you don't mind" and then I did. for 15 minutes.
For the haunted house mission, once you turn the lever up you can see O’Hara but once you go inside you could see him dragging a body if you’re fast enough so pay attention because it only happens twice
I feel like the scariest part of the O’Hara Haunted House was the implication that all of the “Live mannequins” were actual corpses that he killed and repurposed for the House

In the actual stash area at the top of the barn, there is a grate with manacles and blood on the floor that doesn't look fake. A splatter/drag pattern can be followed from this to a bathtub that has rancid meat and a trash bag filled with... something... in it, and a bloody rag on the site. Pretty sure there is genuine horror in the haunted barn.
I love the points of interest and random encounters in this game. Fake choices in the story, but amazing experience just exploring. Many environments tell a story without a single word.

Ya know, I came into this thinking I would know all of this stuff. I was really surprised by the 1st entry which made me think it'd only get better from there. Like you were doing a top 13. Most of the rest I knew though. Good video 👍
I don't think no. 13 is a glitch, it seems more intentional and has some meaning to it, probably the wolf radios that Jacob uses are what causes you to black out but underwater it cancels the frequencies out.
Also, if you want to get the Wingsuit challnge reward all in one go, do the base jump at Raptor's Peak. It's high enough that you can cover the 2000 M in one go if you stay high.
In the radon mine, I shot at the shadow of faith that you see and as it turns out, the shadow is an npc and shooting it will show the revive symbol that you see over other npcs. You even get a prompt to revive the shadow.
I'm amazed, I thought I knew Hope County completely, yet ignored many of these things (like 9, Joseph's trail) Prepper stashes / Treasure hunts were among my favourite things in the Far Cry series, them not being in FC6 hurt a bit
I am kinda an expert flying the chopper with the twin 50 Cal's and rocket launchers. Made quick work of statues Yes signs and Peggies among other things. Hee Hee
I generally wait till night in the game to start a mission, just makes the vibe more thrilling to me. Except for the spooky hotel outpost where I decided to take the mission in morning time itself. 😁
8:48 I did scope the 2nd floor window of that haunted house and quite sure i saw someone in there, so when i enter the haunted house, i expect some of the cultists lived inside the house and wait for jumps scared me when i walk in the house, but when i finally walk through the house and don't see any cultists or anyone inside the house, it's actually creeps me out, and after i loot everything i just took off from that house, never comeback anymore. And i did that mission on the night time in the game, so it's add the creepiness 10x more
While playing the game after completing the Haunted Hotel outpost. I noticed one of the NPC characters with a sniper looking up in the the hallways above with the gun drawn. I thought this was super weird so I watched as it scanned for a bit and out of the corner of the screen I saw what looked like a person running through the upper hallways. When I went up to see there was no one there. Definitely a really cool addition to the game.
Came across the Serpent cave by chance yesterday. Was doing the mission to recruit Adelaide, when I passed by the cave as a pair of cultists were dumping bodies, had to go and take a closer look.
18:15 - Can't get this one to work (13). I don't hear the music at all. Even if I swim underwater all the way across then back again, it gets me as soon as I'm able to stand up. No white flashes, nothing.
Holy crap I didn't see the person in the barn window when I did that haunted house. That is super creepy. Cause I DO remember some unnerving shit in that attic room.
In the Kings hotel, you can access the locked room by picking a lock to an adjacent room, the key is on a bed in the room, don't forget to pick the safe while your in there for some silver bars.
Other than the long enemy monologues, this has to be my favorite. 6 is okay with some new ideas yet some things are missed. One of the obvious was the player companions. The interaction between different combinations of the 2 chosen companions and how they affect your mission is something that makes Farcry 5 unique. 6 reminds me more of 4 . . . .
3 is the best in my opinion. Well rounded, crazy, game. It helps that soon after playing it I spent around a year living on the island of Madagascar in what is honestly an extremely similar looking environment to the game.
I found another really cool location that isnt in this video. In Jacob's region, theres a place just on the moccasin river where there's something called ringing rocks. It's like a little tourist attraction and you can actually interact with it and it makes little bell-ringing noises. Theres also a perk mag too The ringing rocks is just north of one of the Wolf beacons. The wolf beacon I'm talking about is the one on the moccasin river, just east of the ranger station (the whitetail one of course not the one on dutch's island). You can actually see the rocks on the map, too.
The Elliot residence is my favorite prepper stash. Its a house with a walkie talkie asking where the peggies are they sent to kill a guy. He killed them but died too. When you find the key to his bunker you hear them calling in backup and you have a fire fight
I believe the first one was cut content for Boomer's recruitment mission. In the final mission, all you do is open his cage and pet him. It does make sense because that house is pretty close to where Boomer was locked up. That wouldn't be too far of a run.
There's a blocked off tunnel in John's region. Outside of it, there's a blown up car with a classic RPG leaning on it. It's different from the common RPG-7 since it has the old Soviet style flip up sights rather than the weird side mounted sight.
The path through the mountains might be a reference to the path to High Hrothgar in Skyrim, were, as you go up the path, you can find 10 stone tablets telling the story of the dragons, the Greybeards and the Voice itself.
Ian you should so have got this game to Review. I thought it was best Far cry in ages. Completely finished everything it was such fun. They really nailed the open world & fun aspect in general.
I'm currently having fun playing this game and running into glitches, only thing is i'm not sure if their really glitches or part of gameplay...either way the games lots of fun i'm having a blast! ;-)
Wow only place I didn't knew of, was the dog grave, gotta get the cash :D Also Ohara (or what ever it is spelled) Is the psychopath himself! He literally killed people, took out every inner organs and bones, to replace them with machinery parts to make the haunts. Very very creepy and haunting when you think about it, and the room with bloody bed with chains and camera's, he must have recorded him killing them, with them screaming until they're dead. That is crazy! 6: If you haven't killed Faith, her shadow runs around in there, as if she's a ghost, however when she's killed only her voice appears.
When I went to the haunted hospital I had Boomer with me. After liberating the grounds I went into the hotel where Boomer sat down at the base of the stairs and looked up to the second floor where there was a white glow at the ceiling.
hey i found location which when you destroy wooden that blocked the shed door, you'll find phone lying on the floor and if you interact, someone ( girl) was crying
You missed my favorite spot, I call it "Hunter's Valley" as the name suggests, it's a nice hunting valley, now this isn't you're run of the mill hunting area with 2 deer and a bear, no my friend this has everything from pronghorns to alpha black bears, way down at the bottom of faith's region you can find this area, or just accept the doctor's orders mission and head to the very bottom, good hunting and enjoy getting rich in a matter of 30 minutes to an hour
Sadly the glitch to enter the veteran's centre was patched in one of the previous updates! The drowning trick no longer works, but you do get a split second screen of /something/ after you die between seeing the loading screen of Jacob as you wait to refresh. It's really hard to see what it's showing, a barrel with an Eden's Gate staff and some other objects but it's too fast to get a screenshot of
I always tought of that glitch from the Veteran Center not being like really a glitch glitch, drowning yourself may resemble the fact that you are cleansing yourself of sin, just like John did to you in that cutscene, so maybe that s why you become immune to the song aka brainwashing.. just a theory.
I think so too but more of psychological way . That you were classically condition to die or kill the moment you hear that song but when you almost drown yourself, you somehow fight the urge to do so as you are more focused on not killing yourself much less others while drowning and it break the cycle of killing conditioned by that song, and hence you're cured.
There's a huge underground cave network that you must use dynamite to navigate through and fight blissed out pegys that pop out and scare the poo out of ya, eventually you'll get to the prepper stash and then wingsuit out of a waterfall to escape... it's on the far outskirts of John's region almost out of bounds on the map(SE corner-ish)
I remember noticing the dude in the window of O’haras prepper stash, I thought he was just an NPC but I was confused when I got up there and saw nobody. That’s a really cool Easter egg.
Hey I’ve done this but In the cave with all the ghost shadows any faith looking ones you can down with explosives but I’d advise remote explosives because it’s easier but anyways you can down them and revive them if you want but when downed they act like any main story character who gets downed- they won’t bleed out but instead stay like that in pain until you revive them or clear the cave of bliss making them disappear
Prepper stashes were definitely the best part of the game. So many little cool stories and locations to experience.
Definitely, every stash had it’s own neat story and there are more than plenty to find which makes for an amazing gaming experience.

Ya know, I came into this thinking I would know all of this stuff. I was really surprised by the 1st entry which made me think it'd only get better from there. Like you were doing a top 13. Most of the rest I knew though. Good video 👍
I don't think no. 13 is a glitch, it seems more intentional and has some meaning to it, probably the wolf radios that Jacob uses are what causes you to black out but underwater it cancels the frequencies out.
im curious how invincible you become. can we walk over the mountain boundaries with that little cheat code power???
Does it still work or did they patch it? Cause I tried it twice just died both times. Tips will be helpful
@@purple_beany they patched it
@@SS17777 well damn
That sucks
Also, if you want to get the Wingsuit challnge reward all in one go, do the base jump at Raptor's Peak. It's high enough that you can cover the 2000 M in one go if you stay high.
That guy was genuinely fun to listen to.
Really enjoyed this.
In the radon mine, I shot at the shadow of faith that you see and as it turns out, the shadow is an npc and shooting it will show the revive symbol that you see over other npcs. You even get a prompt to revive the shadow.
I'm amazed, I thought I knew Hope County completely, yet ignored many of these things (like 9, Joseph's trail)
Prepper stashes / Treasure hunts were among my favourite things in the Far Cry series, them not being in FC6 hurt a bit
I can't believe you missed out blowing Joseph Seeds statue up! I used the rocket launcher and grenade launcher for this :)
Dale Spencer that’s an actual mission you get. The sign is a secret mission.
Freakin love this game
8:48
I did scope the 2nd floor window of that haunted house and quite sure i saw someone in there, so when i enter the haunted house, i expect some of the cultists lived inside the house and wait for jumps scared me when i walk in the house, but when i finally walk through the house and don't see any cultists or anyone inside the house, it's actually creeps me out, and after i loot everything i just took off from that house, never comeback anymore. And i did that mission on the night time in the game, so it's add the creepiness 10x more
16:00 I can’t get that image out of my mind
No Adams cave was something I missed the first go round but it is a great way to enhance the perk “ ultimate hunter”
If you use the grenade launcher in there, you can actually put the shadow things into needing a revive state. Just be sure to, bring health packs.
This game is so addictive. Thanks for showing us new ways to keep the addiction going!
For sure one of the best FC games up there with FC3 and FC4.
Subscribed! Love it laughing out loud with the deadpan humour
I love how you put pooper scooper at #2 pun intended 😂 on a side note when I did that mission I found bliss so one of those dogs were high af lol
Yo for real ? If there is actually a ghost you need to clip that dude
In the spa, if you do the mission when you defeated Faith, her shadow appears dancing in the background, which is pretty creepy imho
8:43 play the video on 0.5x and see the ghost of the old guy in the other window!
I love the 8-bit pizza bar so fun to hang there! Pity it no longer stands in new dawn....
Was that faith seed with the story mission icon on location 9 (or The end of the pilgrimage))
Came across the Serpent cave by chance yesterday.
Was doing the mission to recruit Adelaide, when I passed by the cave as a pair of cultists were dumping bodies, had to go and take a closer look.
The bug to become invencible is no longer in the game they removed it
That happen to me when it flash my profile was stuck in a stick like other dead bodys
I got decapitated
I think so as well, as I have tried a dozen times and drown each time
18:15 - Can't get this one to work (13). I don't hear the music at all. Even if I swim underwater all the way across then back again, it gets me as soon as I'm able to stand up. No white flashes, nothing.
On #3, it's actually a sulfur cave. It's worse than boiling water lol
Or SULPHUR if you attended school past Grade 1.
Malau really

I've finished Far Cry 5 twice and I didn't even know about 1, 12 or 13. Thanks!
Theres also a perk mag too
The ringing rocks is just north of one of the Wolf beacons. The wolf beacon I'm talking about is the one on the moccasin river, just east of the ranger station (the whitetail one of course not the one on dutch's island). You can actually see the rocks on the map, too.
I blew up the cross on the dog's grave unintentionally. It made me feel so bad 😂
The "Angel's Grave" mission seems like a reference to one of the missions in far cry 3 where you have to traverse a cave with a hot spring in it,
There's a blocked off tunnel in John's region. Outside of it, there's a blown up car with a classic RPG leaning on it. It's different from the common RPG-7 since it has the old Soviet style flip up sights rather than the weird side mounted sight.
I can confirm that this is accurate
Cheesenip The destroyer Enjoy. :P
Wait really? I thought that was fake
It’s real
Although when you go to pick it up it doesn’t have a RPG symbol the symbol is usually the last weapon you used
I wonder if that invincible glitch at the end can be used throughout the entire game as long as I don't fast travel. I gotta try that out. Thanks man!
It didn't work for me
In O’Hara haunted house there’s a reference to the it clown on the phone and one of the papers
David McNair Fc Primal was Sick Play that 2 ,
If you havent
@@murphfee617 primal is probably the worst far cry tho
I'm currently having fun playing this game and running into glitches, only thing is i'm not sure if their really glitches or part of gameplay...either way the games lots of fun i'm having a blast! ;-)
It’s 2021 I got this game about 1 week ago and I gotta say it’s hands down one of my favorite games to play!!!
Wow only place I didn't knew of, was the dog grave, gotta get the cash :D
Also Ohara (or what ever it is spelled) Is the psychopath himself!
Last Best Resting Place
ohh, i remember that one :D creepy
Most amazing video ever seen about farcry 5 thanks dude.!!
This is the type of dialogue the next elder scrolls quest givers have need bill
Only duck bill tho. No beak
6:54 I think that’s the room where when Jacob kidnaps you the first time you undergo the first trial, and you also go back there in a quest.
When I played the pooper scooper mission I thought I had to kill all the dogs and search their bodies I feel bad now
Sadly the glitch to enter the veteran's centre was patched in one of the previous updates!
RoberTG6 that's actually a good theory.
You don't become immune to the song. One of the endings implies that.
4:17 sausage aim strikes again!
Gotta keep the brand alive!
booty shot
dont forget " the administrator´s cabin " just down the road from the " sacred skies youth camp " go into the tool shed to use the phone on the floor
The hotel door thing...
I think you can see in there with camera hack
I remember noticing the dude in the window of O’haras prepper stash, I thought he was just an NPC but I was confused when I got up there and saw nobody. That’s a really cool Easter egg.
WTF the last one was so cool, im glad Ubisoft has a sense of humor
I reccomend finding Frobisher's Cave and reading the sign at the entrance. Gave me a chuckle at least.
13 reasons why far cry 5 is great!
13:50 those are bliss pedals not seashells
TheGamingFlamingo good Call flamingo Jack

Such an underrated game, it deserves so much more!
