I’m very concerned that the church would hire someone so politically active in the wrong ways. I’ve tried to stay non-political when it comes to the church but I can’t sit back any longer. After watching your video I sent a letter to my Stake President asking him to take my concerns to the Area President. I will be following up on this and won’t be ignored.

Thank you. The Denial of the Holy Ghost is the unforgivable sin because it testifies of Jesus the Christ and if we use it, we cannot be led astray by prophets or world leaders. The whole New Testament was written dealing with the corrupt government and apostate church who both crucified our Savior. Paul was not hesitant in calling out the churches who were already apostasicing within 30 years of Christ resurrection. Then John also holds them to account. Sheeple won’t help rule in any kingdom of our Fathers. He’s looking for Lions who look to Him for guidance and courage to do the right things. Thank you for being a rare Lion.
I hope he moves forward with it. We're in a BYU YSA ward. Every testimony meeting a young man, who identified as queer and was a drag queen, would stand at the pulpit and bash the prophet and apostles. He would say how wrong they were and how they were responsible for gay and trans people's mental health. The Stake President, at the time was Christophe Gérard Giraud-Carrier, the new General Authority. In regards to this situation, when he was told, he said, "We have to be careful. We don't want them leaving the church." During this time a young woman in the same ward taught a Sunday School lesson and told everyone she was bisexual, her brother was gay and we all needed to be more loving and tolerant. Again, no one said anything to her. Parents would be shocked if they knew what was going on in some of these YSA wards.
He will have a devastating effect on the young people of the Church as well as long time members. Look at the influence he has had on his own children. This is just plain wrong. I pray for members of the Church to read, get and keep a testimony of the Book of Mormon and its message. Hold on. God will clean house when He is ready to do it.
Well, if Jesus is running the church then he's running in this direction. If Jesus isn't running the church, why are you still in it? You cannot serve two masters right? It's been pretty clear for quite some time the direction the church is going. Stay in the boat and go down with the ship. Don't be so in love with your feelings and desires, your wants and needs that you surrender your critical thinking skills. If God wanted a world of lemmings to simply follow along with whatever their leaders say and do no matter what, why did he give you a brain and the ability to think and reason for yourself? I don't think you've read the BOM critically or just don't understand it. The BOM has little to do with the Mormon church's doctrines, beliefs, authority or policies.
The wicked will destroy the wicked. As far as the “Lord’s house”, He prophesied in 3 Nephi 16:10-11 that he’d remove the fullness of the gospel from the Gentiles and give it to the true House of Israel, those with pure hearts and intent.

@@natandjoec We never got the fullness after Kirkland, It was taken away. The offering was refused. That is the point. Joseph Smith was told by the Lord if they completed the Nauvoo House of the Lord he would give them that again. Yet instead of do it the members rebelled and in the end murdered the prophet and his two brothers. It was never given, and the sealed part of the Book of Mormon as well. We were under condemnation since Kirkland. Yes it has already started to be given to the sons of Jacob, who are the blacks in America, Lehi's seed, and in Central and South Africa.

God has a plan and a purpose, his ways are not our ways. That being said, I quit accepting callings in the church. I go once a quarter and do not associate more than necessary. I wait patiently for the church to be cleansed and the judgements of God to fall.
They picked knowing what he is about so that tells you what philosophy they believe in. Meeting with P0pe and the world politicians and world churches, it really is clear. Moroni pleaded with us to acknowledge our awful situation when you see these things among you. We are at a crossroads and no one wants to dare see it coming. Yet D&C 101 speaks of this. Jeremiah 23, Isaiah 52 and so on.
Moroni's pleading was about secret combinations, not about church leadership. Are you saying Church leaders are part of a secret combination?
The new hire needs to leads by example:

I don’t think the Brethren were made fully aware of the problems surrounding this new hire. I suspect they were deceived.

I have watched the church dive deeper and deeper into globalism with much concern over the past few years. Am I going to leave the church over this? Not today. But it doesn't mean I'm going to stick my head in the sand either. I find myself leaning more and more on the comforting guidence of the Holy Ghost.. When the prophet said our faith would be tried in the days to come, I really didn't think it would be from what the church does that's outside our core beliefs. This isn't the first action that has done that. I wish I thought it would be the last.
I was hesitant watching this discussion and reading the posts. Thank you. I am so WITH YOU. And "Not today" ... about leaving the church of this... Please never think that way again. Not today, not ever, and most importantly, strengthen your relationship with the big G O D and like you reminded "the comforting guideance of the Holy Ghost"...I personally struggle because I have a real hard time doing nothing, saying nothing, and letting ignorance and even corrupt omnipotent unrighteous dominion run me over. I never expected it to be this hard. I am at a point I don't want to go to Church because I find it difficult to mingle and fellowship with an oblivious group of ignorant "yes man" idiots who think obedience equals agency. I love agency so much that I studied a Ph.D. in Leadership and Organizational Change with focus on Agency, and I had many dreams and visions about losing or not having agency. It's the greatest GIFT of it all. And they talk about follow 'some leaders' into the abyss of unrighteous dominion to Globalism and a One Government Control, a government that we are asked to obediently help create and contribute too so that their gadianton-robber infested corrupt leadership can flourish and then we should follow that one article of faith being subject to these thugs and tyrants. I want to defend my religion and to that goes hand in hand the right to practice my religion and my faith. Know, this struggle does not void the restoration of the Church in this dispensation... it might... just not yet. So help us God!
I'll tell you, from all of the deep diving into the scriptures that I've done, I've come to believe that
1st: We are in the last days
2nd: The antichrist will appear on the scene soon
3rd: That there will be another Judas amongst the first presidency/12
4th: There will be a great division amongst the church
5th: And I can't prove this, but that Judas I mentioned above will be the prophet of the antichrist which causes that great division in the church, leading many away.
Let me tell you of a dream that I had recently:
I want to tell y'all about a dream I had early 10/28/2023. There was a giant building that could hold everyone on earth. They dug into the earth and on the outside, the part that was up top was all made out of glass. And it was sloping on either side. From the air it looked like a giant eye 👁️
On the inside there were countless stairs leading down. There were highly polished handrails made of either stainless steel or polished silver, I didn't really know. Engraved on the handrails were the names of each religion as well as those who were atheist or agnostic. People from each of those religions would Each grab ahold of their religions handrails and go down the steps to where your churches handrails led. I saw the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints engraved into handrails. I didn't grab the rail, but kept my eye on it and followed it down. It led to a giant conference center with countless rows of seats and enormous balconies full of people already sitting there. The handrails for our church led down to the front to the floor of this conference center and it appeared that almost every member of the church was there.
I saw the Antichrist there, but I couldn't see his face. He was standing in front of the worlds entire population. In front of him, on his knees with his hands tied behind his back was the prophet Russell M. Nelson. He shot the prophet in the back of the head and killed him. The prophet was martyred. And then I saw, standing next to the Antichrist with the biggest smile on his face, Elder Oaks. I yelled no and took off running for stairs that were across the room behind the Antichrist, because people were still flooding in behind me but no one was in his stairwell. I was able to escape and I had people looking for me and came across a group of people outside the building that wanted to turn me in to the Antichrist but I fled and found a small group of people who all worship the Lord Jesus Christ and I stayed there with them and they had peace. I found my wife and son amongst their number and everyone was in pure white robes. After I got there I found that they were members of what's called the church of the first born. When I looked into that, it blew my mind. If you haven't studied into that, you really should.
Much love and appreciation. I hope you don't lose your faith. Most importantly, we have to follow the Lord. Seek the face of the Lord. I'll bear my testimony here to you of the divinity of Jesus Christ. Many in the church get up on fast and testimony Sunday and say that they know that Jesus lives and that the church is true. They are walking by faith. I know Jesus Christ lives. He will give guidance and show himself to those who seek him, who are sincerely trying to keep his commandments. He is the son of the LIVING God. He is the beginning and the end. The author of our faith and our hope. The only one that can save us. He has all power and can do all things. The ministering of angels is very real. Unlike the Israelites who didn't go up the mountain with Moses to see the Lord, we should make the efforts and we can have a personal relationship with the Savior that no one else will comprehend. The adversary will leave us tired and exhausted. Weary of the persecution. Just know that no matter what, our eternal salvation is worth all that the adversary can throw at us.
MY testimony of The Lord and His restored Church won't be shaken , *but this HAD to come **_from_** somewhere* .
I'd HOPED the shift to *WOKE* overtaking BYU wouldn't extend to the heart of The Church , but *S_T_N enters **_in_** wherever he can* and what I'd feared _then_ has CLEARLY come to pass .
This is a literal DECEPTION of "The very ELECT of God" prophesied for The LAST Days , and NOW I _understand_ WHY Our Lord will need to take His Priesthood BACK at his first appearance at Adam Ondi Amon ahead of his RETURN . This is EVIL infiltration , and on par with the WORST of the "Secret Combinations" we read about in the Book of Mormon , and is just another example of what we see happening to The Lord's FAITHFUL of ANY path ,world wide , from Papal support for leadership "alternate lifestyles" and what they do to little boys to the tide of "Pride" and T-G overtaking modern popular Christianity , world - WIDE . That particular question had escaped my notice in this . WELL _PUT_ . So- how DOES this guy keep a Temple Recommend , and how DOES he get hired _without_ one ? And _who_ with WHAT "inspiration" allowed him _his_ ?

Before bed last night I prayed to God about the direction the church is heading right now. I asked God to help me to know how to navigate it.
During the early morning today I had a strong phrase come to my mind while I was dreaming. The phrase was: "Obedient, Active, Repentant" accompanied with its acronym "OAR".
I instantly woke up looked at my phone. It was 4:44 AM. This number has huge significance to me. It always appears to me when something important is happening. I call it my "angel number".
So for me, this was my answer from God. Regardless of the evil going on around us even inside the church, God wants me to stay obedient, active, and repentant.

Part of repentance is becoming active is battling the forces of evil. I have been in this battle since before 1966. The saints did not heed the numerous warnings to protect the Constitution plus getting rid of the Secret combinations, and still do not. When Elder Oaks told us in Conference it was our responsibility to protect the Constitution did you see any of the saints get their families together and watch videos on the Constitution and doing with others to learn how the the Secret combinations were working and joining groups to combat them? Oh no. They are waiting until our leaders tell us in detail what to do and how to do it.
I'm hanging in their with the Church, but not blindly in la land thinking the Prophets will save us when the time comes. Marion G Romney says that the Savior cannot come until He has a people who have followed "God;s law of Liberty," He said that if the Church did not do that they would suffer and He will raise up a generation that will do it. Thought you might be interesting to you.

I’m grateful for this hire. Now it’s much more obvious to point out that the church is seeking to be popular with the world than to be harbingers of truth.
Agreed. Watch what they do more than what they say.
At the end of the day the hire is just an employee and not a general authority. Most hires are onboarded from a corporate perspective. Remember the guy who came out as gay at BYU graduation. He was given permission to do that. Later on an apostle spoke against this practice. This scenario showed that the leaders at BYU can make erroneous choices. We just stay focused on prophets and apostles.
The _ENEMY_ of LIFE _will_ draw the distinctions that will lead to its _own_ demise . This IS the PATH of all EVIL , and _has_ been since the DAWN of Man - when Cain slew Abel .
How can anyone take their talks against these issues seriously anymore in General Conference after this hire???

As a former Church employee, may I suggest another possibility. My understanding from my own experience is that for each open position, there is a hiring manager. Perhaps it is the hiring manager in this case that promoted this hire, and perhaps left much of what is now becoming publicly known from being shared with the Brethren. And thus, it might not have been an eyes-wide-open situation. Thank you for all that you shared however, and this hire is definitely something to be concerned about. I think it would be appropriate to pray that the Brethren become aware of his past history before it influences the policies, practices, and reputation of the Church.

To your point, the Church didn't hire this guy. He was hired by Deseret Management Corporation which is a subsidiary for profit holding company owned by the Church. They do their own hiring as they act independently from the ecclesiastical church. It could very well be Church leadership is not happy about this hiring, and as we seeing there are many in the Church organization who are of questionable faith. Again, DMC did the hiring, not the Church directly.
I don't believe for a minute that there is any difference. I think people need to stop defending the leaders for all the crap happening in the church. Nelson is the captain and should be and is in control of what is happening. As you stated: "He was hired by ......company owned by the church". I am not trying to be contentious but at some point we have to say enough. If the captain can't handle the ship then he should step down and let someone else take the wheel. But I don't see anyone in the line of succession who will do any better. We are in trouble just as the Book of Mormon warned us would happen.@@effervescentrelief
I don't know how much longer I can stay in the boat. This is absolutely reflective of the worldview and beliefs of the church leadership. The Gentiles are in fact uniting with the Great and Abominable Church that Nephi warned against, and I won't be a part of that union.
Heber and Brigham did this uniting long ago, it is just more obvious now. All the daughters are coming to the mother. I stay in the Book of Mormon and wait for Joseph and the days after the apostacy. Isaiah in the Book of Mormon speaks a lot about the days coming. We have to see the other side of the road to be ready to step out of Babylon and accept the Samuel the Lamanite figure when he comes.

It's only hard to stay when you don't know where else you'd go. There are plenty of places that are are standing strong, that aren't giving in an inch to this LGBTQ+ crap and some pretty big religions too. Just got to look for them.

What is happening? I'm growing weary of having to defend the Church about these actions, especially to conservative members who are struggling with their testimonies while I try to reassure them that the Church is on the right track.
Quit trying to assure them the church is on the right track. Do the will of the Father. Do good for your fellowman. Live as Jesus Christ. Do the bare minimum to maintain connection with the church and maintain a Temple Recommend.
Live the actual Law of Tithing as outlined in the Scriptures. 10% of your surplus, not 10% of everything you make.
Now take it a step further, remember that Jesus Christ was crucified because of the actions of the High Priest when he spoke under the influence of God.

Maybe you should quit be a lazy learner and study the history of tithing. What it was intended for and why we developed a need for a fast offering system to supplement the tithes the brethren were stealing from the poor and needy. How many interest free loans did Brigham Young take? How many loans did he forgive himself of? The other 12? Quit being ignorant.
Get ready for more controversial PR gaffes that the church will have to clean up. Who could have anticipated that #HearHim and Prez Nelson's warning about personal revelation in "the coming days" was going to involve how we view our own leadership's inability to remain politically neutral? VERY interesting tests ahead.
Could be that we deserve the leadership that we get, and that goes for the Church and for government.

@robwilliams2265 well, Moses had to stomp around for 40 years because the people were lazy and foolish. So yes, we can be "blessed" with leaders and incidents based in our faith, or lack thereof.
@@robwilliams2265 it is said that even the best of the saints aren't ready for the mysteries of God, so in a way I think that it is our fault. We go to men for revelation, not God. It is our fault the government has its power, we've been the frog in the kettle for a while and most people still don't see a problem.
All I know is that I pray that these will make some of the blind followers seek after revelation that they may not have even ever had before! It is what our Father wants us to do, go to him, not men!

I agree it is our fault on both counts. Had we not trusted in the arm of flesh and treated leaders of the church like idols and looked to the government to save us, had we not traded freedom for security, cared more about pleasing the world than pleasing God, condoned and encouraged sin, we would not be in the mess we are in. As was the case throughout history, repentance is our only hope.

One of my favorite political elections was the 1936 USA presidential election. Back then Heber J Grant was super outspoken about the evils of socialism and FDR. A full page article was run in the newspaper. Also David O McKay and J Reuben Clark were against socialism. But the stupid people of Utah ignored the Church leaders as they often do, and FDR got the votes, as well as another topic that Heber J Grant was against which was ending prohibition. The problem with people in Utah in general is that they just have not done the homework about the evils of globalism and socialism. Ezra Taft Benson gave many speeches, but you have to research them. The John Birch Society educates people about the evils of socialism and globalism. I went to Church recently and a member said something bad about the John Birch Society. So the lesson here is to read the books, speeches, and articles against the secret combination of Ether 8, and don't get fooled by people who just have not done the homework. When I was in the Air Force we were taught that a Communist goal is to make "homosexuality and promiscuity appear normal, healthy and natural" and this has been a major thrust from Hollywood in the past few decades. The secret combination of Ether 8 is very active but like little children people won't wake up.

We both know we are warned of secret societies in the BoM. We do not have to abide with the leaders of the church h when thry step outside if the gospel. We don't have to and we should not. Regardless if what leaders do or don't do, the gospel itself is true and that us what we live by. Personally I kean more on past prophets. I sought confirmation of my own decision, and am forever grateful I listened. Whispered to be an apostate by members of my ward and critized by family, I am so thankful I went to converse with the L-d thru the veil.

@@chuckintexas When you peel back the layers you'll hopefully see that "the restored church" is only as valid or sustained by the Lord when it teaches His gospel. I could dive deep into each and every doctrine from the time of Joseph and I think most members would be shocked to see the huge gaps that exist. And I mean EVERY single doctrine. The leadership from the time of Brigham has been changing church histories and doctrines. Nephi prophesies in 2 Nephi 28 that in our day doctrines would be intentionally changed, "fine sanctuaries" built up at the expense of the poor, and great pride among the religions of our day.
You're very charitable to attribute his take on DEI as ignorance. He uses all of the ideological language to soften (or should I say bait and switch meanings). People like this are why our society is crumbling, now he is going to become a filter for the flow of information to and from the brethren. Scary times.
Remember folks, we have a procedure to deal with a wayward leadership. We're asked to sustain or oppose. If you have a serious problem with the GAs, don't leave the church you believe in. Go tell your bishop you don't sustain, and tell them why. You don't need a temple recommend to be an active member. We have the leaders we deserve, and if we stand by silently while our church crumbles we are complicit.
I guess, the Lord will have to visit me at Home from now on.... Well, and that is a false belief anyway if we think He is only visiting us in the Temple. We don't go to the temple necessarily just to be close to God, but do the work for our ancestors. But that can be done and contributed too in so many other ways. I told my Bishop of his own corruption actually, in a nice way - didn't call it 'corruption' but it was insinuated. He was not happy about it and does not look at me for the time being - He is so guilty and justifying it with "I know I am not a good Bishop, I just try to obey...". Don't get me started on 'obedience', the false whore of all whores that claims that Agency is disobedience, because I chose to question the leaders' unrighteous dominion. Obedient to what and to whom? God only, not even to the interpretations of scripture unless it is interpreted by the Holy Ghost to me directly after careful studying, consideration, and prayer. I have told several bishops in private, and I tell friends and family in private conversation. I believe that if a significant number of faithful members have the courage to vote 'nay', then God will take care of the rest.

It is all Jesus' Church and He has the only SAY. Except these unrighteous leaders actually believe they act within their power, never mind that it is unrighteous. For sure they don't want to be told by you and I. There is a excommunication and disfellowshipping procedure for folks like us, "shut up and sustain and pay tithe". Caution here, please, not every Bishop or Stake President etc is corrupt. They may be equally troubled by these very same concerns that we have. Just keep in mind, if you speak out too much, it will get you in deeper trouble as a disobedient rebellious opposer to the omnipotence of church leadership, possibly. I sustain them all fully, just not their unrighteous dominion acts. I am DONE. First, the disavowing of what was once "unchangeable doctrine". Then, the LGBTQ "policy". Then the policy on abortion allowing for FIVE exceptions including "health of the mother" which mirrors Roe v. Wade. I've met with numerous LDS women who were encouraged to have an abortion by their Bishops, some coming close to "force" and now severely regretting their decisions to murder their babies. They have LDS recovery groups of sisters who struggle with their abortions and go through recovery therapy which ends by them letting balloons going up in the sky with the names of their dead aborted babies written on those balloons. It tears my heart out that I have to take this direction, seeing as I have given my whole life to this church, served a full time HONORABLE mission and served in numerous callings, paid my tithing, regularly attended the Temple, raised my family in the church. I will keep my Covenants and also the Commandments we've been given. I will ask to have my name to be taken off of the rolls of the church and I will no longer pay my tithing to a church that has by its actions gone along and agreed to the wicked agenda of this forlorn satanic world. Other great big elders wanted to take over and they did, giving us polygamy, priesthood bans, blood oaths and so on. Now we are rudderless. I believe that as Isaiah says a servant will return to lead us in these last days. See 1 Ne 21. Read the two patriarchal blessings of Joseph Smith. Maybe that will help you in these troubled times. I'm confused about doctrine that is now against church policy. I can't keep on top of it. How do I teach my grandchildren? How to listen to the Holy Spirit is the answer. How to follow Jesus.

So for those of us that have been asked to administer temple recommend interviews, where are we to draw the line? These social media posts come from a communications specialist and clearly show his intent to support, and promote teachings, practices, and doctrines contrary to those of the Church. I’m assuming his role is one that requires a recommend. Does this then imply their tacit support of his viewpoints?
The only question you need to ask is do you pay a full tithe. Thats the only question that matters.

The truth will set you free... that begins when you are free to think, investigate, question, discover and grow. The church is about obedience, conformity, legalism and the restriction of your own thoughts. Membership and activity in the church is like being in a narcissistic relationship. Its very hard to see from the inside... but once you step away... its very clear. What do you think the consequences would be if you left the church? Do you honestly believe you could leave the church without serious consequences effecting your life and relationships? Are you free? Are you instead a prisoner of "the plan"?
Members who support abortion, anti-family sexual deviancy, and post on social media openly against the brethren still receive temple recommends. As long as they’re a full tithe payer, why hold them to doctrinal standards?

I love the Lord and His church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I believe the prophets and apostles are inspired and continue to hold priesthood keys. As far as this new hire, my attitude is to wait and see. The covenants and ordinances of the church remain the same. The members of the church are also great people, who are trying their best to walk the covenant path. Stay with the priesthood, and keep the commandments. Keep repenting and serving. Those are my thoughts.
The new hire already goes against counsel previously given:

They selected him, I am sure this was neither an accident nor a mistake. We are talking about the top level of communication, not about a random intern. The problem is that in times of social media and the Internet, there is no external vs. internal communication, so members receive contradicting double messaging.

We all try very diligently to come up with wording and reinterpretations in order to say that church doctrine does not change. Several months back, I was contemplating the temple. And I had a brief vivid daydream. Perhaps some would’ve called it a dream or a vision. I saw my father and myself sitting in the endowment room next to an openly and active homosexual man. He was fully accepted and welcomed there by the workers. After that I have just been waiting for this change in doctrine to occur. I give it 10 years, and this hire is a big step that direction.
I discovered that the leaders of the church were not sanctified back in the 80's. When I confronted the leaders of the church about their lack of holiness, I was charged with apostacy for questioning them and I got excommunicated because I would not deny my testimony of Jesus. Listening to what you are saying, I am so glad they kicked me out of the church when thy did.

The church is organized top down. This hire was done with the explicit condonement by the First Presidency. If there are wolves in the church, they must be in the top Q15.

Unlike the failures of so many other religions throughout time, the LDS Church encourages its members to seek truth and guidance outside of the leadership. Brigham Young said that one of his greatest fears is that the members of the Church would acquiesce their own progress and responsibility to their leaders. We have both a spiritual and temporal duty to stand against all those who seek evil, power, wealth, and control over us.

Me and my family have felt that the Church, in light of the large church with more that the leaders can handle-- they are heavily relying on those of their staff for the policies they have come out with for a number of years now.

The Brethren are indeed God’s Chosen and hold the holy keys of the administration of the Restored Church of Jesus Christ in these Last Days, but they are MORTAL MEN who are yet in the tests & trials of the Second Estate and prone to make the occasional mistake in judgement regarding secular things. They have erred in judgement on occasion and made HONEST mistakes. As God revealed thru his ancient Apostle, so great will be the power of the Dragon and the Beast in the last days to deceive, that “Even THE VERY ELECT may be deceived”.
The individual saint MUST put their faith in GOD FIRST above Prophet & Apostles and learn to “HEAR HIM” thru PERSONAL REVELATION. The other way around (faith in Prophet above & before God) is a cult of Prophet/Apostle worship and many have, in the past four years, lost their health and their lives that way.

I'm with everyone else questioning why they hired this guy who goes against so many of the things that the church believes in or at least the church I grew up in during the 80's - early 2000's. The later 2000's it's questionable. Which I didn't even see what was going on until 2020.
Haven't we heard lately that activism is the wrong tool at the wrong time in the wrong place? Maybe the Church should provide a list of the issues we can be activatists for /against.
Have you contacted the church with this information or are you just publicly complaining? I hope that as long as you have this information that you would actively try to present it to the brethren.
To the brothers and sisters that lean more conservative.. the church is in panic mode. Attendance is down, loads of people are becoming inactive and in some cases leaving altogether. What would you do in their position? If you don’t want the church to become moderate or in the extreme cases become “progressive” do something and actually try to bring your conservative brothers and sisters back.. see why they left

It's not a single PR guy, it's the whole system that is rotten. One example: Ensign Peak Advisors heavily invests in Big Tech stocks (Amazon, Google, Microsoft). These companies make considerable revenue with web hosting (Apple might be the only one which doesn't). A huge portion of web hosting revenue is from porn (including gay porn). This means that Russell M. Nelson actually makes a profit when David Archuleta or other gays are watching porn online. In Christian business ethics, this is referred to as "sin stocks". You can see it is not an individual issue, but the problems are pervasive throughout the whole church structure.

The Administrative side of the church here on Earth is managed just like any other organization. Making decisions and giving out assignments, projects to work on, and so forth. Even mission calls have quotas that need to be filled. Do we really think that every little thing that bishops and stake presidents say or do are inspired? Hardly. We are not angels here on Earth. That inspired stuff is for the Spirit World and thereafter.
That said, this could become our Dylan Mulvaney and Bud Light moment. This guy is awful.
