Dewsbury-Hall all day. I think he has Gallaghers motor and work rate, and better than Maddison was. He simply doesn’t lose the ball, and he can carry the ball through the transitions on the dribble if there are no outlets. And he’s even good defensively. He has real vision and creative ability though. None of our current midfielders unless you count Palmer (and I include Carney) has his ability to find the clever pass.
KBH availability is huge!! He’s like Connor Gallagher but with technical ability very good with the ball in his feet! passing is very strong & he scores goals and assist! For me it’s a no brainer & he puts in a shift when he hasn’t got the ball!!! He’s a bad boy!! Hope we get him!! 😊
He is coming from a lower tier team if he had stayed with Enzo at Leicester Then he would be getting relegated

To be honest, the players I see leaving are Casadei, Gallagher, Fofana, Broja, Kepa, Lukaku, Sanchez (maybe). Carney has potential and has shown he can be good. He will be an asset in Maresca system. KDH is a good addition.

I thing us average fans cant understand the project yet. If we saw the plan we would be shocked. There is a reason why the owners can convince all these youngsters to join Chelsea. We fans still think on a local London club level. The owners will surely building a future mega, multiple club structure. They are surely planning to profit from the whole south american continent. That is why they buy so many latin american future stars. We will be the feeder club, mega Chelsea and we will be one of the richest club in the world. We will have 3 clubs of top players and we will dominate the football world and transfer market. Let’s start thinking big. That is the only way our club to be reach a royalty club level.

Nobody is getting dropped. Chelsea to trial a new 6-4-9-3 formation. It'll still be a younger starting lineup than Everton.
I haven't seen a lot of him, but from the little I've seen, he's got the right mentality and progressive play we all LOVE C. Palmer for. I'll keep Carney as a rotational player, KDH and C. Palmer run the middle.
Don't forget about carney injury crisis. I will go for a fit carney all day cos he has been proven and broken into the team excellently.

Chelsea did not say a coach does not have input in recruitment, but they will not have the final say. So this is the coach input which falls in line with the clubs recruitment. Win win for everybody
KDH is less injury prone and more experienced but don't be fooled by championship numbers.
Last season Carney played 9 games. Starting 7, he had 1 goal and 1 assist. KDH's last season in the Premier league he played 31 games and had 2 goals and 2 assists.
If he is coming in to play deep then okay. If he is coming in as an attacking midfielder...
Nobody said Pochettino's training was the sole reason for the injuries, they just said it has been reported numerous times that it was an issue at multiple clubs.
I also have no issues with Carney leaving, he could be a decent talent but he cost 20m, has earned over 10m in 2 seasons in wages to have just 4 league starts. KDH helps us get top 4 right now, we can't rely on Palmer to score all our goals and we know Enzo/Caicedo/Lavia are not creative and it's not really their job either. Personally, I always felt Carney was bottom of the pack between Santos, Ugochukwu, and Casadei but time will tell.
Carney over Dewbury-Hall not by a mile but by a fair amount
Chukwuemeka needs a regular game time, going to Milan will be good for his development. Also, KDH is a decent player with experience
Younes, whether Poch was right or The medical is wrong... It doesn't change the fact that we can't be certain that Poch wasn't the problem, so it's better to get the players as a safety measure than to be caught with our pants down...
Only Gallagher & Caicedo & of course Parmer were the fittest midfielders last season. They were always available for selection. But Carney, Lavia, Ugochukwu, & even Enzo all struggled with fitness & availability. You can't trust these midfielders to be available when you need them the most. This is why buying Dewsbury makes sense. Dewsbury is not injury prone & he's a top player. He can also slot in from the left given Mudryk & Sterling inconsistencies.
We gave had medical issues before poch since clearlake took over. First season they was using medics that movie stars use like a actor and athletes are the same thing 😂
I think it’s quite simple younes. The directors have a vision for the football they want Chelsea to play and they made signings accordingly. Poch did not fit the mold for that type of football but he had a good track record with developing young players and being a good man manager. We saw that, he did his job and gave these kids confidence to improve. That job being done, the directors wanted to turn to the right type of tactician
They want to continue to make signings according to their vision of football. Now that they believe they have a manager in who shares this vision, the line between ‘manager signing’ and ‘club signing’ is going to be blurred. KDH would enable maresca to implement his style quicker, which is exactly what the directors want. They want someone who’s already been doing it to serve as an example for this new maresca midfield
Assuming we keep maresca I think we could see more short-term signings to help plug gaps or act as a bridge to allow our younger players to develop
Sign kids of course we are unhappy. Signing mediocre championship experience isn’t exactly a fix.
Tuchel was asked because we hadn’t hired ppl to do the jobs yet, and they didn’t know what they were doing.
I think it comes down to fitting the profile. If there are 3 players that fit the profile, and the team likes, and the coach likes one of them over others … then that made sense. We had already scouted LDH before Maresca; scouted him heavily last year.
I'm guessing the board will always ask the coach whom he likes and if it alines with their targets then it makes sense, doesn't mean Maresca all of a sudden runs things, this is the owners being so wealthy they can afford to play football manager in real life
As a Chelsea fan this is a scary sight going in to next season 😢
Old school coach choosing who to buy is very distracting. The scout and tech team should be able to see what the team is doing, there deficiency and go scout a kind of player that can solve the position.
Carney has a higher ceiling, but if KDH is integral to the coaches system and we can get profit for carney.. kind of a no brainer right.
Anyone who's watching football long enough would know KDH is a quality player with good technical ability an stamina 🤔
I have not liked a lot of Chelsea's recruitment under the new regime. I see all of these midfielders, I see the money they spent and the only one that excites me is Moises Caicedo. The rest of Chelsea's midfielders don't really impress me. I don't think they're needle movers, Fernandez included.
Kiernan for me is a level up on all of their midfielders. I think he's excellent and being 25 years old, I'm honestly very surprised Chelsea are seemingly going for him.
I have a lot of issues with Clownlake - but I'm not going to complain about bringing in a 25 year old player like Hall. I really like him.
I did hear rumblings of Chelsea interest to him a few weeks ago and last week I remember reading United having interests to him, only for Brighton to be moving on him.
That makes it all the funnier actually that Brighton was hijacked by Chelsea. For as much grief Chelsea has with Brighton, I can't imagine how annoying Chelsea must be to the Albion because they are actually trolling the bird feathers out of Brighton lol. This is funny.
No Younes, I must say, In my humble opinion, I have a ton of problems with the new regime but I have no issue at all in Chelsea upgrading on their mediocre midfield and I think Hall is a significant upgrade.
No complaints here - Hall is also a fine age.
This should mean Chelsea sell off some of their mediocre talent though.

Everyone should watch our match against Leicester in the FA cup. KDH was amazing. I would take a trade off of KDH and sale of Carney in a heartbeat.
We are trying to get two players for every position, kdh will be a rotation for enzo. Talking about the strategy it’s actually simple, we buy the possible generational young talents as well as above average young talents so that when we make future buys above average young talents can be used to make payments. We bought casadei and datro for a total of 22mil, and now we trading them for kdh who is valued at 35mil so we actually saved 13mil in this investment. This doesnt mean we will sell all the talents but we are keeping the best of the best like paez, estevao, etc and selling players like richards and all to make profit. Whether we like it or not but that’s the strategy as far as to me.

The age of the squad - full of still-developing bodies - is a big factor in injuries. It will be worse next season with the extra games.

Credit Younes for treating all this with the sceptisim it deserves. The likes of Yan and Nini have become unwatchable never criticising a single decision, signing or link by this board and patronising those who do as just wanting "big names". Meanwhile the players they told us last year will be game changers like Fofana, Casadei and Carney are already being linked with moves away to make way for the next round of targets who they're gassing up as the answer to our problems. they're like kids on Christmas loving the present and then wanting something else on boxing day. I think they can let him go because he was always going to go on loan this season anyways. Paez and Willian are joining next summer and they are likely to have more focus given to them. It's understandable looking at it from that angle.
