Gallagher will sit on the bench till next season then go to whatever club he wants. He isn't going to be bullied into leaving to make these owners money. If the owners are wise, they will negotiate in good faith for a new contract OR find a club that Gallagher wants to go to.
If Gallagher leaves it's on his terms not the club's. His sale value plays no part in him leaving.
@@lcynote Gallagher is on different situation than Mount or Maatsen. His contract ends 30 June 2025. He can sign new long contract, like Maatsen did, and be sold next window or he could wait until January and sign pre contract agreement with club he likes and get much more money for himself. Keeping one of core player on £40 k per week is disrespectful to player. Doesn't matter we rate Gallagher or not he deserves better.

The only reason couple of these Cobham flops made it to the first team was the transfer bans. The only Chelsea level Cobham player in the past 20 years was JT and right now James. This club is in absolute shambles, don't get it twisted, I've been watching chelsea since b4 Roman bought the club, and where we are now and where these new owners are taking us is absolutely ridiculous, Chelsea is going to become like Dortmund but a shittier version of it, and it is extremely hard to watch what's going on with this club and the future of it, because I don't see us coming close to a title for years and years. Every big name expensive striker Chelsea has signed has flopped. Just because someone is well known and hyped and performed somewhere else doesn’t mean they will do it at Chelsea. It’s about calculated risk not ‘accepting mediocrity’. Smart investment is having risk tolerance but not pissing money away, going for young players with high ceiling is better than going for 100M+ osimhen or isak on huge wages

Funny how Younes and people like him feel like Roman would have paid 100m for every player or think Isak is worth that money. He is max a 60m player. I bet Jackson next season will score more than Isak. This fanbase think the owners have to splash couple hundred millions more after spending 1.1B just because the fans want it.
The issue is they created more problems than they solved not the amount they've spent. Don't compare Roman to these clowns.

@nanthakumar4963 clearly.. cos we didn't complete the trophy cabinet for Roman in 2021.. Romans' model wasn't perfect but it was destroyed by the clowns in charge. No one else. All they had to do was add a proven goalscorer and replace a couple players. But nope. Moneyball took over because these clown owners think they know anything about football.

Remove the Isak penalties and he had 16 goals and 2 assists in PL and Jackson 14 and 5 in his first season. Nope Isak is not even a better player than him.

Petrovic joined from the MLS and was decent so far. Signing Caleb for Strasburg makes more sense. Oh and btw. Ben Jacobs explined the PSR Deadline in an Interview with Alex Goldberg. Basicly there is a grace period were its possible to allocate an outgoing even after June 30th to the old PSR period. First you get sanctioned by the FA. Then you appeal the sanction and argue that the deal was basicly done before the deadline and was hold up by "technical difficulties". If its within a week or max two after the deadline closed the appeal would go thru at the court.

im from atlanta gerogia in the US and i love both chelsea and atl utd , caleb wiley is a solid player, has a few things to learn but with some quality coaching he could be one to watch in the future.

With that said - Jackson and David would actually push each other top spot as striker for Chelsea. They similar in style both can score and miss equally easy and difficult chances. I do think with either as option off the bench and Guiu Chelsea should be looking at a goal a game. Hope not to leak goals.

I really dont get why we signed Datro Fofana, Deivid Washington, Casadei, Omari Hutchingson etc. Combine the money spent on these unused players, we could have got Osimhen or any other top striker.
All those players are for making profits. A top striker is not profitable. Trophies get you very little profit if not more likely to make you losses. Being a top 4 club is good enough to get all the sponsorship money.
