thanks. I am 39 years old. trying to get a fine job in tech. no past work experience. I know python, sql, and have done few projects in django. also have used linux, bash and few aws services. do you think I can get in? I mostly never get interviews calls. what could be the best way forward for me? I do some freelancing on upwork. I want to do freelanincg howevr freelancing is very difficult as projects requirements are very high and no cntinuity in job. tried backend with python but can't say I am that good at it building things or problem solving. also have stared to explore golang. do you think aws or gcp could be good. I can try getting deeper into cloud. but i normally never see fresher roles in cloud and dev ops. can you suggest something. anything that can keep me employed for next few years. thank you.

Hey Sidd, I am not sure what to tell you, I can ask you that you keep trying and you will get a good job in IT but I would be lying to the fact that age is a big factor in the IT industry, I know people stay in denial that it is not, but the reality is that it is, plus nowadays, no one wants a person with just basic knowledge and train them on the job, every company is looking to hire only stellar employees, who can code like cyborgs.
