Best video yet ! No one starts by saying the back brake when that’s the most important part!
Exactly foot brake is the mist important part to learn
Fun fact: airplanes do wheelies every time before they take off
Cologne Trooper another fun fact, unicycles do the longest wheelies
DJ Santiago another fun fact I like oranges
@@austinbenoit2569 fair enough, you do you bro 👊
Those are power wheelies tho 😂
No...they don't.
You literally taught me how to wheelie a drz thanks for the good tips
🌟 Best Tutorial on doing a wheelie! Perfectly described... Seriously, don't think I've ever heard it explained better! You certainly hit all the main points, in a plane and realistic discription. Great content 👍
When doing a wheelie, I do them in 2-3 gear. Hold the clutch sit near the back give it throttle and pop the clutch while your pulling back. The quicker you get to the balance point the cleaner the wheelies. I do them all the time. If your comfortable enough to shift gears go for it. Just prepare for the rear break.
You use the back brakes beause the front brakes don't work when the front wheel is up :D
We ain't dumb
‘Smoooooth.” Ha! Very nice!
the first thing i plan on learning when i get my drz
I looped out in the top of 4th gear on my old 140. Pretty fun stuff lmao
Wait, so press the back break a bit before popping the clutch? Release the back break when popping clutch and throttleing?
I am gonna try this today. I just bought this bike. Back soon))
RIP
@@kottyking nope. ))
What sprockets are ideal for highway
on a plane...u make me laugh too much ...like it
I shift from 2 to 3 while wheeling but I have been riding for 50 years I don't normally cover the brake but I don't chase a wheelie if the front dips I just ride it out I don't try to catch it ....at balance smooth consistent throttle and engine braking works for me ... But again that is how I ride 37 years of street and motocross racing and 50 years of riding in all old school I guess
Great tutorial. Nice skills bro
Very nice.✌️
are you popping the clutch or are you just throttling?
I have a 16t front and 39t rear and boy do you feel it yanking 2nd
How long have you been practicing wheelies?
1:08 my ears felt wet after 10 seconds
What's your tire pressure
what’s that guard called in front of the handle bars? i got a drz also.
Hand guards
Bark buster
😎
what is the highest speed you can comfortably ride at for long periods of time with 14 41 workout feeling like you're revving the hell out of it?
AnimusMachine 60-65mph in 5th, with more power to give if needed. Thats my experience at least.
@@MrMrrome I got er up to 70 in 3rd
I ride at 55 sometimes 60 and have a 15 ..44 I'm a mechanic and just don't want to hurt it so that's just me your ratios work out the same as mine so 55 is about right and I don't do big highways or interstates unless I have to
Throttle for up
Brake for down
Had permit for 2 months now, wheelie a lot in the street. No tickets yet :D
Bro you sound high😂
Looped out in first. Squid badge proud and a broken a taillight
15-41 is stock ratio ? whats the top end on 14-41 ?
like 60 :D
@@billbuck3590 nope. I am running 14-47 and I can go 85. On knobbies. At 6000 ft. And I weigh 230.
I forget exactly what I’m running rn but I’m able to get to a hundred and then I’ll calm down😭 only reason why I haven’t got different sprockets
wait a minute this is the same kid who didn't know what the steering lock was on his bike I'm going to take Willie lessons from him? alright here goes nothing!
sam ward How about you learn how to spell? You probably don't even ride. But please hate on more videos too! Keep it up!
Justin Shinoda well I didn't spell anything I'm too lazy I just talk to text and then after that I blame Google,
Justin Shinoda I just got a DRZ with the hundred and eighty miles on it and I'm breaking it in I live in Northern California and it's raining and the damned here is going to break so I'm trying to learn to do wheelies through a flood, I kind of wish I would have got a jet ski😲
Justin Shinoda and I'm forty and I've been riding for years to Strokes street bikes but this is my first Enduro and honestly I'm in love with it!
Well hope you learn how to wheelie! And that my video helps, i don't know if it's too informational but enjoy your DRZ. Great bike
idk wtf im doing wrong i swear im doing these steps but i just cat do it
So ping clutch wen throttle is on and mph 19 nice wheelie bruh
спасибо. всё понял)
You can’t shift mid wheelie ? I know you can I do it I’m asking if you can ?
Yea ofc you can :D
Can you I was wondering why you didn’t do it in the video ?
@@dmoneyrex I was still learning at the time in this video haha. I can make another one tbh
Justin Shinoda I totally feel you yea I’ll be waiting for it brotha I literally just learned how to shift and trying to get comfortable with my back brake keep it up bro 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Woooo congrats. Doing wheelies is sooo much fun. Just be safe
Thanks 😂
Mom said not to be doing wheelies. And stop wearing my stretchy pants, I need them for cheerleading.....
Airplane doing wheelie's on it,
Moment later: That doesn't make any sense
Good tips, thanks.
I can’t pull the clutch in enough with one finger because the clutch lever itself eventually just hits my other fingers that are holding onto the grip... anyone else have this issue?
Try adjusting your cable so your biting point is further out rather than closer in. I.e. clutch disengages as soon as you pull the lever in a little bit
Turn your hand upside down and use your thumbs)))
@@jamescornflake1542 😂dude I feel like I’d fly off the back
@@dynodyno6970 Don't worry lad. I just got my first Drz and I also just got a new Fridge. I intend to wear the cardboard box for my first go at the wheeley. I shall be free as a bird))
You can get the shorty's clutch and brake levers it will help
bruh dont ever steady throttle while learning. You gotta learn the ropes and know the bike limit. Steady throttle doesnt make you in total control and you tend to space away
You arent even hitting balance point man. No need to use your brake. Your DRZ forks should be past horizontal.
Balancing point is hard to find
@@ll.7927 no its not its the point at wich the bike slows down and you feel weight less you want to be in that zone !!!!
@@clutchitup8565 yea I been trying still hard to find. Gotta get use to going further back
It's not funny to sound dumb.
