Jolene tell Chad you can buy an adapter that moves the shifter to the back of the transmission and keeps it shifting the same. Very easy to install. Well worth the money.

Chad & Jolene check out the oil filter it looked to me like you will not be able to take it off for oil changes because it is up against whatever is below it. I could not get aa real good view of it so I am not sure if it was the upper control arm or frame. You can look back at the video if you have pulled the engine back out when Jolene reads this. If I am correct you can always put on a remote oil filter kit and mount the filter where ever you want.

Should have taken the rest of the shifter adaptor off as this would allow more space between the transmission and the tunnel. Then when the unit is in place and engine mounts are welded in place, cut a hole in the transmission tunnel to allow refitment of the shifter adaptor.

The way I find the shifter of that type of trans is to get it right front to rear and side to side then I bring the shifter up against the floorboard. From the inside I tap the floorboard until I hear a solid sound and mark that spot then cut the floorboard to fit the boot that I will be using. If you are careful cutting the hole then it can be welded back in easily if needed.
