If ancient humans were able to create and understand portals or Stargates, I kinda doubt that it's due to the brilliant scientists they had. They were spiritually connected with everything around us. Something we have grown so far from with almost every humans obsession of paper and the man made things it can bring for us.

okay here's what i know about plate tectonics..
TRIGGERS : EXPLOSIONS - natural occuring (volcanic) unnatural (man-made)
CRUSTAL PLATE MOVEMENT: crustal plates get more destructive as the surface gets more resistant, being climate, or the life activity. that being every species of life on this planet (water & land) the more weight added, the more dangerous the the shock
When you go against a moving direction with near same force a fight for direction comes to play...one perfect example is Stand 20 ft. away of a busy highway like California's Golden State Hwy 99. When a long stretch of the hwy becomes busy with industrial traffic the ground gets hit by a wave of momentum force
