- This day is the longest I have ever ridden 37 miles on whoop laden trails. I tell ya what, If you have never ridden single track whoops then you are missing out on some serious exercise. I sure wish I would have hit record on my 360, oh well It's a learning curve I guess, my excuse is brand new gloves.
Hahahaha.... 04:32 that was a snotty puddle! 😀
Looked like a lovely day for it. I imagine them whoops get tiring quickly... You thought about getting Stegs Pegz? They might help with the wrist cramping!
lol..man that hole was DEEP, almost up to the airbox hole. It was an awesome day and if you didn't notice, when I stopped to talk to the one guy right before the hole, there was still big ice chunks on the ground. It was nice and frosty that morning. Naa I had Stegs on the CRF450R but had to take them off when going to the MX track. They are nonconducive for jumping, for me anyway. When I get a dedicated trail bike I will likely get them, they work great. The cramping is mostly due to my eating habits. One meal a day and I didn't "load up" the day before the ride like I normally do. It was a spur of the moment ride.
@@BigDaveTALKS ahh yeah, valid point 🙂👍 regarding the steg pegs.
I missed the ice... is great when the air is cold though... engines come alive
Oh heck yeah, i love leaving cold and 5 minutes later, BOOM your sweating and the bike is asking for more
That KX is easier to pick up than the Honda, eh Dave? :P Good stuff bro!
😆 you aint lying. I won’t be picking up the AT for a while now. I learned my lesson foe show! Thank you I appreciate it.
That bit before and after the bridge looked good. Bit more challenging than the whoops. Can you really ride a trail that's 27miles long?
Bonus points for the dismount too.
He can only do 5!!😂😂
@@rockmanADV sounds like me doing pushups! 🤣
Oh yeah those trails have a lot of surprises. For sure i did 27 miles on the first trip. I had to put about a gallon of fuel in and rest a bit before i did the 10 miler. I’m pretty confident I could get about 35/40 miles on a tank at that pace.
😂 that dismount was due to a damn root. At first I thought it was me getting too frisky with the gas
@@dynamotightstar3472 😂🤣
@@BigDaveTALKS I thought it was the mud in your tyre and leaves but roots are sketchy as hell when wet. They're bad enough dry.
