Salad Master pots and pans and the vegetable shredder they also sell are made in the US go for decent money if you get for the right price. Magnalite roasters do really great, they also make a big dutch oven as well. They can sell 4 up about $300.00 each. Even if they don't have the shiny new look! Those that do still have the shiny can go for more. Great haul!

Ship in a bottle sells really well in my vintage booth @ the Big Peach Antique Mall in Byron, Ga. Buy ib under $3.00 an d sell for $20.00 plus depending on size. Fairly quick flips.

That planter with the flowers on it would be perfect to hold kitchen tools and look pretty on a counter. I use a planter that way; learned about that idea from a UA-camr who does home design.

I bought 24 bamboo trays at an estate sale 20 years ago for 50 cents each for my “personal” use - like I was going to serve lunch to 23 of my closest friends!!?? 😂 I still have about a dozen left and was reminded of them by this video! I may get them out next time my kids are over to see if they want a couple of them!
I may have made purchases justifying it in a similar way. 😅

I always look for those kinds of pots to drop other pots into it saves a lot of mess. And I never buy coffee mugs in sets and you shouldn't avoid buying cool looking mugs. I look forward to having a different mug everyday and I change them out seasonally it's just a little smile present to yourself.

Hi.Love yo ur videos. My understanding is the planters with no holes are cache pots (outer pots). Helpful to hide uglier pots that actually hold the plant and for bottom watering and water capture (protecting the furniture).

Hi Karen & Roger! Love you guys and look forward to Wednesdays and Sundays! I use rocks in the bottom of planters with no holes, I like that better than putting a pot on a saucer to catch the water drainage.
Those cheese boxes are nice to hide dog toys or cat toys in a rustic house like mine.
…And also could be stood up on its side to take up less floor space in the booth!

Vintage cheese box's go for alot more then 20 dollars, and the size was nice. Not sure if the stencil hurts it.
The feather rooster is pretty but it would be a dust catcher and in my experience feathers tend to deteriorate.

The flower pot with no hole is called a cachepot. U put your flowerpot inside it and when u water it will catch the water..

The chicken would be easy to ship. I like the cat too, but the eyes are a little creepy. And the picture could be sold as is, let the buyer decide what they want to do with it.

Being that you set your flower pot (with plant, dirt, etc.) INSIDE the ceramic container, you don't want a hole in the bottom so that the water runs out onto your furniture! The intent is for it to catch whatever flows out of the flower pot after watering...
It is an outer pot designed strictly for decorative use.
What you can also do with those is use it as a standalone planter but put stones in the bottom under the dirt to prevent root rot.
I guess you could use the pineapple cheese box for a sewing or knitting box.

Hi Karen, The Ship In The Bottle - the ship has collapsible rigging poles that you can tie a piece of string to. After inserting the ship with the collapsed rigging poles, you pull on the string, the string lifts the poles back up and voila, a ship in a bottle! I don’t know about$150… but could definitely double asking price w/a quick coat of mineral oil! Roosters are a dime a dozen,,, that wooden cat was very unique and everybody loves a good kitty!!

And any container can become a vase, I'm always looking for unusual containers for flower arranging, you can usually find a glass vase or mason jar or something to drop into anything and turn it into a vase
Karen, Last we my Daughter’s & I was on vacation in Stroudsburg, Pa for 5 days in the Poconos Mountains. Then we left there and headed to West Virginia. We past Lancaster and I wanted to stop there in hopes of seeing you & Roger but when you are with other people things don’t always go as you want them. 😢 We had a wonderful trip and seen a lot of beautiful country.
Good price on the game. It retailed for $50 new and that game looked unused.

A lot of people use faux plants and love beautiful planters also. They don’t need holes lol. Love your videos ❤❤❤
hey Karen, Love so many things in this video. First of all, Buttered Popcorn! That and the toasted marshmallow are my two favorites. When I lived in Florida, there was a super target that had a wall of jelly bellies where you could make your own mixture and I used to go and buy a little bags of just those two flavors.❤ also, the pot is a cache pot as another viewer mentioned. But I also wanted to say that if you find a pot, you really love that doesn’t have a hole, you can carefully put a piece of painters, tape over the center bottom and slowly drill a hole through and it will not crack! I just learned this last year and it has worked for me. and most importantly, I’m glad to know that you were excited to see viewers who traveled so far to meet you. I think I told you this before, but I’m not sure; my daughter just graduated from high school and she asked for as her gift is a trip to come up to your area to thrift with me. I was so excited, so we are planning that for October. I really hope that I do get to see you and Roger, but I’m just looking forward to checking out all the places you go to weekly. Happy Monday and have fun shopping tomorrow.

Saladmaster stainless steel pans can be really good. I just sold a screened pan from my pan drawer with the handle which is detachable for $120 because it was one that I just didn't use.

Lodge is the only US maker of cast iron pans still going, so the price reflects that many are not antique, like Griswold or Wagner. They survived the decline in cast iron usage by consumers, who were opting to purchase more modern materials (aluminum, non-stick, etc), because they patented a process by which their pans didn’t need “seasoning” the way traditional cast iron does.
