This is a very nice interview. I didn't know that much about these beautiful creatures! The Giraffes are so gentle and it's a terrible shame they are still being hunted! It's good to see them being cared for so well in captivity ~ 💝🌸🙏 ~
@@AlfredFJones1776 Yeah, so they can murder more animals after they've been released to the wild. They're literally paying those poor people to keep up the numbers of their favorite hunts.
The way they walk is so graceful -- even mesmerizing. It reminds me of how I've been so enamored with cats since childhood because of how graceful their movements are. Giraffes, cats (and some women) give the illusion that they are walking on air.
Wow how awesome, thank you for sharing. Those were some very good questions, Michael you are very knowledgeable about these wonderful animals. Best job ever I'm sure. Lol I would like to count their spots.
I wonder what giraffes think about us. We are so small compared to them.. but provide them with food and tasty treats. I bet they think we are their miniature servants :)
They are such quiet animals . The only sound you here is him crunching on those biscuits.
It’s LETTUCE NOT BISCUITS! 🤦🏼♀️
So respectful. It cracks me up how he stands that log so politely when he could just step over it, lol. Beautiful creatures 🥰🥰
Great presentation - very informative! I think everyone has enjoyed it (I’m 71!) 😄
... and I am 67...

He missed saying that humans are also a big predator, poachers and trophy hunters. Unfortunate but the truth.
Poachers by far are the biggest problem and most detrimental to the survival of the species
Trophy Hunters donate large sums of money to conservation organizations.

What a nice guy! I wonder if any of the Giraffes at the zoo know there name. Would Desi come over if he called him?
Stumbled across this - Love it!

Thanks for all the answers. And for taking care of these nice creatures, of course.

I'm so impressed at how many facts the keeper knows off the top of his head!
I once heard a baby giraffe in distress & I never want to hear it again. It was heartrending.
The soft monches are so good
What a wonderful animal!!

O cara com a maior má vontade, nem olhava pra girafinha. Que horror ! Demitam esse sujeito ridículo.

Looking at the caretaker, I understand, why his giraffes are so bareboned.
