My heart was racing. When Hipwood flubbed that goal and Bailey was caught by Stewart, I thought Lions were gone. Amazing turnaround in the final minutes. Callum Ah Chee, not the first time this year he's scored a match-winning goal. Put them back in front, and then Rayner finished it off 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
As a Magpies fan, I’m really glad the Lions are getting another crack at the Premiership. They were so competitive against us last year. I especially love how the Lions are playing so well given that they were coping a lot of criticism for “not being mentally strong enough”.

Was a great game, alot of great goals. The last 10 minutes had mistakes from both teams but the foward 50 enteries by the lions, especially the speed and decision making off their half foward line just eased alot more class.
Is there anything the Brisbane Lions cannot do, those guys have been unbelievable during this finals series. Truely the sentimental favourite going into the Grand Final. A couple of droughts will be erased by next week. Brisbane have a 21 year drought while Sydney have a 12 year drought.

@@Toast2005 Fair enough mate, everyone has a differing view on certain things of the game. But the one thing everybody can agree on is that the biggest prize in the game is that Premiership Cup, out of any trophy or medal past or present that's been offered. Premiership is the number 1 goal.

But I've always hated the idea that if you don't win the Grand Final or League depending on the sport that the season was a failure. Don't get me wrong I love winning the big prize, everyone does. And you right about the term of a great season in a football club, for example the latest departees in the finals race Port Adelaide and Geelong both those clubs had a good season, both team were top 4 sides 2nd & 3rd respectively this season and to make the Preliminary Final is a outstanding achievement in its own merit, one stop short of the ultimate destination which is the Grand Final, but none the less still a great season which fuels the fire for a better run next season.

When I went to school in Sydney, every school had a League team except the toffs, and even their rah-rah graduates often ended up playing League for money. AFL can take players from every state and territory - more power to them.
@@arthurwatts1680 pretty much all Rugby players from both codes are and have always been from NSW and Queensland. Stark contrast to the AFL indeed. Even the two Rugby states produce a decent amount of top notch AFL players. You could play an AFL origin series between NSW and QLD and it wouldn’t be bad at all. But still respect for the Storm, their success and consistency has created a real Rugby League presence in Melbourne, without the Storm, few people in Victoria would know anything about the game of Rugby League football. Will be interesting how the Bears WA project will develop.
