Netflix has to come out with a life documentary about Steve-O
What's it called
Ana PERIOD
why Netflix? just a documentary on youtube or somewhere else online so everybody can watch it would be good enough.. what's wrong with all these netflixppl?
@@sebbo85 ffs i said netflix just to give an example, people get offended for everything these days.
@@anagabyrm1 first of all there's already a documentary about him, of course you don't know cause it's not on netflix..
Steve-O is shockingly insightful, articulate, and self-aware. He’s ironically the opposite of the knucklehead we think he is.
SuperPussyFinger I*
It's really insane just that he's alive with the amount of drugs he has done (not to mention all of the ridiculously dangerous stunts). But it's almost more amazing that he is still so coherent and articulate with such sharp memories about so many of his insane experiences. He is really one of the more remarkable people I can think of
Its called experience, especially for this guy

It was his character. Only later it started becoming how he acted in real life, and it all went downhill from there.

My Uncle who has done maaaaany drugs. And sat in prison for a while, everytime he talks he will tell you 25 different stories and a lot more about himself and the things he's been through to be where he is now. It is theraputic, like telling you to not do what they did 😂
Steveo is so the fucking man for being so straight up honest about everything in his life. He's my hero
You think he’s being honest?
@@ianthompson3038 i mean, i don't doubt he'd be obscuring some details, but he's explained most of his life through his career - from his crippling addictions (both to sexytimes and debilitating substances like nitrous), as well as his recuperation through the years and how everything had led him to this point.
He’s a liar. It’s very obvious…

An addicted brain will tend to jump to new addictions to get the familiar dopamine hit.
J. Matthews Which includes jumping into religion after addiction. It’s basically jumping from one addiction to another, or in the case of religion, it’s more of an obsession. But hey, if it works for an individual and it helps them to become happy, healthy, and emotionally stable....well, shit....hallelujah!!!!🙏🏽🙌🏽✝️☪️🕉✡️☯️🛐☸️
Who said anything about religion?
J. Matthews No one. I was obviously making a COMPARISON.👍🏽
@@dp6970 comparing religion to addiction?
Lil dude from across the street No, not really. I’m comparing the mental and psychological aspects of an addicts mind. Addicts typically go from one extreme to another, because their brain craves that neurological feeling (dopamine). Typically, addicts that go from drugs to religion don’t just go to church and read the Bible from time to time. Have you ever noticed that? They dive headfirst into religion and go extreme. The same idea can apply to the addict mind in response to drugs. Obviously right? Steve-o is a PERFECT example.👍🏽 However, steve-o doesn’t appear to be one of the those addicts that went from drugs to extreme religion. Anyway, my initial comment was simply a COMPARISON of the two in regard to the addicts brain.🧠
So much respect to Stevo, he bares his soul to the world and is brutally honest about all his flaws. He is inspirational.
Collie crazies Really is, especially for anyone struggling with drug issues and self control.

Funny how listening to Steve-O did more for me than my last therapy session
Think about this if everyone got healthier being in therapy they wouldn't be needed.
I think he's just such a deep-end guy with everything that all the measures taken and rationale behind the behavior is like "well of course". Along with such high level of documentation of all the behaviour with even piles of footage of him intoxicated so it's not even as "inspirational" more than it's just logical. Steve's doing amazing work.
@@jms4406 just.... no.... That's like saying the reason doctors don't cure anyone is because they don't want to be out of patients. No. Just no. The psyche is a complex thing, we don't have all the knowledge on how to fix everything with everyone at no cost.

💯 Respect. You will eventually find someone who understand + respect your choice, decision, goal, dream, perspective, opinion, pov, etc. I can go without sex for ever. Sex is not as fun as I thought. I think love sounds more fun. I'll find someone else eventually who understands where I am coming from when it comes to sex + love perspective, pov, etc. I have high standards, not high maintenance just picky + selective. As long as you take sex+ love in a healthy, positive, way of course most important.

Steve-O is a great guy. He's hitting the wall of mortality. Middle-age. I did that a long time ago in my forties. Back then I was thinking, "Woah, this ride DOES HAVE a time stamp on it. What I do with my body can affect or shorten that timestamp. I was to experience love and fun with what time I have left." Facing mortality is a scary thing. I'm now 66. I'm in good health and I don't give a shit. But, I understand that abusing myself with anything harmful or wreckless is just stupid. So, I just don't do it anymore. Sounds like Steve is maturing and facing the reality of aging. That's a great thing. Old, mellow, and wiser is NOT a bad place to be.
Needed to hear this. Thanks man👍🙌
I’m really young and don’t want to live to be old how can I get over that? :(

Steve-O can talk about himself for hours, and he still doesn't come across as self involved. He is just such a good dude. Love listening to his stories.
Who else admires his willingness to share everything and really put himself out there
Once an addict, always an addict.
Thank you to Steve-o for the honesty, and shedding light on issues MANY can relate to. I’m praying for you man!

Somethings change and somethings stay the same...
I know people who were alcoholics and managed to now only drink once in a while like only in the weekend. I don't understand how they do it. If I touch it I'm back on it.
When he says “my girl,” haha. Super cute ✨
It is clear that Steve-O has an addictive personality. I get that, there's a genetic predisposition to have something like that. Of course on top of that there are a lot of psychological issues that he had/has to deal with, but from his explanation that seems pretty clear. Every time he tackled an addiction, a new one would pop up. Very useful testimony, I would love to talk for hours with this guy.
I really like Graham's interviews. I don't know if he actually is interested, but he looks really really into the discussion all the time
delbroox he has to be interested. It’s not hard to be interested about talking to celebrities. Although there are a ton of uninterested interviewers but he seems to like his job
Lol if steve o doesnt entertain him i dont think anything does cause he's got some crazy stories
delbroox he should be, he’s talking to some of the most iconic people of our time, Steve-O, Mike Tyson, Jordan Peterson etc
He also let's the person speak and asks relevant questions, I hate when the interviewer keeps cutting off the person and doesnt let them speak and keeps asking them stupid questions
He counted every damn day of his celibacy! 😄
Mys Led i do too its like being in jail for some lol
Maybe just the first and the last... And he did the math
Nah, just days add up and then you look back.
Haha he prob just knew the date he chose to stop then when he finally hooked up looked back and tallied it up
That's what you do with addictions. You count how long you've been away from your addiction. They have 30 day chips, 60 days, 90 days, 1 year, 1 1/2 years.... and so on. They also have apps to count the days. It's pretty normal.
When you said you have pre diabetes.. that opened my damn eyes so much. I am such a sugar addict. And that’s one of my biggest fears.
Methamphetameme I was food prepping & eating healthy all of the time. But lately I’ve been slacking & my main weakness is sweets. But i 100% agree with you. When I was doing it for longer than a month. I began to crave apples / bananas all of the time.
Methamphetameme I would make banana pancakes all the time. Its easy to eat healthy as long as your mind is in it. I’ve just fallen off a bit, but definitely am gonna get back on track. Especially after Steve-os info he gave us.
having an addictive personality is so hard. it really is like kicking one thing then kicking another. pick your poison, or continue to conquer. I have so much respect for him
I have a lot of respect for Steve-O. I grew up watching Jackass like a lot of others who know about him did, but I wasn't ever a big fan at the time. Not to say I disliked him, but I enjoyed Jackass as more of a collective identity. But listening to him speak now, and in the more recent past, there is an overwhelming sense of unabashed authenticity that makes me respect him. I appreciate how he speaks on this topic, and his sense of self-awareness in how he goes about doing so. I think he has the potential to do great things for others who are currently suffering from addiction. Not that he needs to become some symbol of addiction, or even an advocate, but that the clarity in his storytelling alone could be the voice of reason for those who may not actively be seeking it.

It's common for addicts to stop one addiction and develop another.. I truly think it is a disease and people need to treat it just like they would treat any other illness
No
Matad0rr That makes no sense, illnesses are usually casued by bacteria, viruses etc.
Addictions are not.
No matter the approach, as long as the addict sees himself as the victim rather than the most important factor in coming clean, it's not gonna end well.
Some addicts get stuck in the "I cannot help it due to ..." Which actually screws them over. They sometimes play the addition is hereditary card and it does not help them at all.
Put simply, showing too much compassion towards them enables them to stay addicted sometimes.
I spent my twenties and half my thirties hooking up with random girls every weekend. I've been celibate for the past 6 years after getting a girl pregnant. I'm a dad now who understands that sex has consequences. Waiting for the right girl

I always heard that an ex alcoholic will crave a ton of sugary food because the alcohol they were consuming was loaded with sugar.
That goes for all ex addicts
it’s not really about the sugar it’s About the dopamine hit that you get. It’s the reason that a lot of us smoke cigarettes or drink coffee constantly because it satiate that part of the breed that was used to getting that spike in dopamine and other hormones. Sugar does the same thing, not nearly to the extent that drugs or alcohol does but to our brains it’s better than nothing.
I love how honest he is about it.
