Couple really good lines: I contact from every angle like the Mona Lisa Pangea bar My (bio)oligy made me the natural selection Gjonaij was just in his bag bro. I feel like his verses were like shapes and colors instead of consecutive lines. This is the perfect battle to introduce someone to battle rap. Plus money on the line makes it spicy 🌶

I think both have incredibly amazing pen-game, virtually impossible to say who's better (in terms of bars). For me it comes down to delivery, and that's where gjonaj takes the W. He's so confident when he's spitting, he has excellent composure which is impressive when your character is always super aggressive. I think that if psychoses worked on his performance, vocal projection, composure (etc.) then he would beat someone like gjonaj because he has very impressive bars. It's kind of like charron, he's got incredible talent but the delivery and persona aren't ideal for battle rap. idk that's just me
That First round rebuttal by Psycoses might seem okay by first listen, but it's pretty incredible as an extended metaphor, especially as a rebuttal. I'm not Buffalo Bill, I'm Hannibal Lecter because when Psycho (psycoses, Hannibal) broke out the pen (regular pen to write with, and penitentiary), theres no saving face (Hannibal Lecter takes your face, and Psycoces embarrassing you).....I'm sorry but thats ridiculous to add 3 metaphors to a rebuttal line that fit perfectly. Psycoses does rebuttals every battle and mid-round freestyles. This was far from psyco's best battle, but everyone saying hes whack are just dead wrong. He crushed JC and RemyD already on KOTD although I know JC didn't bring his best, but the battle wasn't even close. Also for anyone thinking hes whack, just watch his battle against N-Pose (who was upcoming at the time) which was probably his most polished battle, despite having almost no experience. In my opinion he still has a huge upside in his battling career because he just went top-tier a year ago, and has a mix of all the right ingredients to be a battler, just needs to slow down at times and let go of some of the filler bars. Big ups to Gjonaj who had a great comeback after Diz, and showed alot of improvement. I personally just hate listening to his voice, he sounds like AM radio through my headphones, too much static. This was a tough battle to call for me....but one things for sure, it's tough losing a grand and walking around in a Waldo shirt.

il100374 I just think that a freestyle is a freestyle whether or not dudes grab on to the same structure. I give them credit since the majority of battlers can't even freestyle now days. I personally gave Psy points for mid round rebuttal, which is rare, most battlers can't do that. DNA is a legend of battle rap, whether pre-med or not you have to admit that it's not that easy to do. If it was then a lot of other battlers would do it.

Diz isn't the only battler who can be angry. Psycosis clearly puts a shit ton of effort, time, and pride into his bars. I think both have incredibly amazing pen-game, virtually impossible to say who's better (in terms of bars). For me it comes down to delivery, and that's where gjonaj takes the W. He's so confident when he's spitting, he has excellent composure which is impressive when your character is always super aggressive. I think that if psychoses worked on his performance, vocal projection, composure (etc.) then he would beat someone like gjonaj because he has very impressive bars. It's kind of like charron, he's got incredible talent but the delivery and persona aren't ideal for battle rap. idk that's just me

That First round rebuttal by Psycoses might seem okay by first listen, but it's pretty incredible as an extended metaphor, especially as a rebuttal. I'm not Buffalo Bill, I'm Hannibal Lecter because when Psycho (psycoses, Hannibal) broke out the pen (regular pen to write with, and penitentiary), theres no saving face (Hannibal Lecter takes your face, and Psycoces embarrassing you).....I'm sorry but thats ridiculous to add 3 metaphors to a rebuttal line that fit perfectly. Psycoses does rebuttals every battle and mid-round freestyles. This was far from psyco's best battle, but everyone saying hes whack are just dead wrong. He crushed JC and RemyD already on KOTD although I know JC didn't bring his best, but the battle wasn't even close. Also for anyone thinking hes whack, just watch his battle against N-Pose (who was upcoming at the time) which was probably his most polished battle, despite having almost no experience. In my opinion he still has a huge upside in his battling career because he just went top-tier a year ago, and has a mix of all the right ingredients to be a battler, just needs to slow down at times and let go of some of the filler bars. Big ups to Gjonaj who had a great comeback after Diz, and showed alot of improvement. I personally just hate listening to his voice, he sounds like AM radio through my headphones, too much static. This was a tough battle to call for me....but one things for sure, it's tough losing a grand and walking around in a Waldo shirt.

il100374 I just think that a freestyle is a freestyle whether or not dudes grab on to the same structure. I give them credit since the majority of battlers can't even freestyle now days. I personally gave Psy points for mid round rebuttal, which is rare, most battlers can't do that. DNA is a legend of battle rap, whether pre-med or not you have to admit that it's not that easy to do. If it was then a lot of other battlers would do it.

Wow. This was everything I hoped it would be. Gjonaj really seems to be shedding his "wanna-be Dizaster" reputation. And that's rightfully so; that guy is vicious in the ring. Diz isn't the only battler who can be angry. Psycosis clearly puts a shit ton of effort, time, and pride into his bars. These are two of my current favorites and what a treat to have them match up well. Forget clips this time it was 3-0 battle rap. 0-3 judges. Thank you for yet another banger KOTD!

Gjonaj is really really lucky Psycoses just doesn't have great execution 'cause he rapped circles around him and had far better rebuttals and setups-- his waldo scheme was hilarious and that third round was fire, I actually can't believe he lost tbh, Gjonaj really wasn't as impressive as he was in a lot of past battles I've seen, he got very lucky he lucked out on that judge decision IMO.
