Come on now! It just doesn't get any better than this. I love hearing bands like this, because the live versions of thier songs are never the same as the records. Just great pure Rock n roll!!!
Yeh, yeh, yeh Paul Rodgers.....Mick was so cool and the riffs are just so good. He NEVER gets his due/. My man Mick Ralphs. Itsd what the mox of blues and rock shuld be. Maybe Trower too.
I WAS PLAYING THIS TUNE AT 16 IN 1976 ON MY PIONEER SX636/GARRARD TURNTABLE/w radio shack cassette player & 2 LARGER ADVENT LOUDSPEAKERS. THAT TOOK UP MY BDAY & XMAS PRESENT MONEY FROM PARENTS & BRANDPARENTS... AND A LOT OF YARD MOWING TO PAY BACK FOR THAT EQUPMENT. BUT MY FRIENDS LIKED ME TO BRING THEM OVER TO PARTY AND PLAY MY ALBUMS/CASSETTES WHEN MY PARENTS WERE OUTTA TOWN... ALL MY FRIENDS FROM THAT TIME ARE DEAD NOW. THIS SONG IS FOR THEM.
I feel like he's pushing a little. This song has a real laid-back feel but this feels >< too fast. He's 100% NOT rushing, but he's definitely driving it harder
i woke up this morning with this song in my head, you know when you can't get a song out-of-your head it just stay with you. I haven't heard this song in years. That is how you know it's EPIC !!
They sound amazing. I’m getting into them more and more these days. What they generally play on the radio is just the tip of the iceberg. They have a lot of hits.
Yeah they do that a lot to be honest. There's some bands that I've heard from the radio that I didn't even like and then when I listened to their stuff on there CD I'm like man why don't they play this stuff on the radio?
Paul Rogers voice is one of the rare few in rock that is simultaneouslly powerful and musical. Another guy from the same era I enjoy hearing is Chuck Negron of TDN.
You should read Chuck's book, "Three Dog Nightmare". It's an excellent read from start to finish, and a really good summation of his time with TDN. He's lucky to be alive.
Well, when I... Want to rock steady Yeah I'll know... I got to get ready Close my eyes and let myself go Listen to..., oh Baby let the music flow, yeah Turn on your light and stay with me awhile And ease your worried mind Turn on your light now baby And stay with me awhile And rock steady Yeah... Just before Solid state amps and everything else. They got that Detroit Grit Legendary. There were so many Great band's. Hello Muscle Shoals Alabama 🎵🌄
The start of the vocals on this song around 00:18 is not at all easy to sing. Most vocalists would be wavering and trying to stay on key. His singing is just phenomenal.
He sounds way better and smoother on this than the album recording..always thought he was a little hoarse on the recording, and it sounds strained on the chorus..probably the only time I've heard him less than stellar..yet here, he rules
Better live in this raw performance than the studio version which was recorded. You can tell during the beginning when they start to grove and then during the chorus they Jam.
If you just took the “Huhh!” at 1:46, there would be no doubt, that Rodgers is with out a doubt, in a class by himself. The band as a whole, is the universe combusting and literally saying, “This is what rock music should sound like.”
You're absolutely right. There has never been a better rock singer or better rock band than Bad Company. And when Paul Rogers left, the singer Brian Howe was absolutely amazing too. Listen to Brian Howe with Bad Company here > ua-cam.com/video/Rh5NV-Lyzok/v-deo.html
Yeah but no Mick Ralphs...they had Howard leese from heart, and Skynyrd only had Gary, I saw them tour the Bad Co. Album in 1974 with Ted Nugent opening up with his debut album in Albuquerque NM, greatest concert for my money.
A great group Bad Company sexy Paul Rodgers as the frontman! real eye candy.even missing a tooth. Love this song but someone’s guitar was out of tune. I had the same pants everyone who was anyone bought them at North Beach Leather.
It would be cool if they made a biopic about the band, or the man himself. I think Jason Lee looks like him. He could do a real 70's rock hero rather than the fictional one he did in Almost Famous.
No frills, no gimmicks, no makeup, no spectacular light show, just a tight ass band with one of the best singers of all time.
The best singer ever with the best tight ass pants
I Call Them a No Bullshit band. Just THE MUSIC - Heart & Soul 😎🔥
50 years later and this still sounds great to me.
This is rock and roll at its purest with Paul Rogers at the front. No doubt one of the greatest voices in rock and roll👍🎤💯🎸🥁
Just saw him singing at 73.....73 years old and still sounds better live than 80% of singers today.
Yup I’ve been saying that for years
WOW. Thank you so much for posting this! Rock on BadCo!!!
Paul Rogers is the whole scorching package💕🔥
You said it!!! Whole freaking package❤🎉❤️🔥🎉 still is❤
Love you Mick. Love you Paul. I won't forget you all
When talent was king.
Come on now! It just doesn't get any better than this. I love hearing bands like this, because the live versions of thier songs are never the same as the records. Just great pure Rock n roll!!!
Best refreshment here, can t hardly stand most junk today😢
Yeh, yeh, yeh Paul Rodgers.....Mick was so cool and the riffs are just so good. He NEVER gets his due/. My man Mick Ralphs. Itsd what the mox of blues and rock shuld be. Maybe Trower too.
Totally agree with Trower, and his lead singer, James Dewar. Bad Co is my favorite, but Trower and UFO are right up there.
This is when I felll for Paul and Bad Company! All Right Now is my jam. But his magic starts to shine in Bad Company! Rock on Paul Rogers!

Yah girl when rock n roll was at the pinnacle
Yeah, I saw him a few years ago, and he’s STILL drop-dead sexy, and that voice.... damn. Unbelievable!

This is my favorite song of their's. Great groove.
Paul Rogers is STILL as amazing in voice and talent as when this was filmed 😊👏🌟💣🔥
Bad Co....the greates british Rock Band all time..🎸
Simon Kirk is a machine. Love how he keeps it simple but it just grooves and he’s so solid on the tempo.
I feel like he's pushing a little. This song has a real laid-back feel but this feels >< too fast. He's 100% NOT rushing, but he's definitely driving it harder
@@Anomaly.Filmworks I agree, but this tends to happen live. He's keeping it in check though, and the Swat of that snare drum!
Simon Kirke absolutely rock solid drummer he knows how to lay down a groove
Kirke's kickdrum rocks steady like Charlie or Bonzo in my book.
Thus man still sounds great to this day.
He sure does!!! Love Bad Company! ❤️
I agree ❤️!
Now this is the Bad Company that I remember listening & Rockin out to. Paul still sounds the same as he did in the beginning.
Raw down and dirty greatest band of the 70s and still going in the 20s call the hall of fame and get them in
One of the greatest musical bands of all time.... Good-looking lot
i woke up this morning with this song in my head, you know when you can't get a song out-of-your head it just stay with you. I haven't heard this song in years.

Check out Deal With The Preacher, if you haven't heard it. Awesome song.
Bro bad co is one of my favorite bands ever
I had the first album "BAD CO, BAD CO", at at least twelve years old and never seen them like this.
Yeah they ROCKED IT !
When that guitar riff kicks in that's what I'm talking about rock and roll rock steady
Musical nourishment!❤
Paul is just too damn adorable on this song, LOVE HIM!!:-)
Great song, great performance!!
The golden age of rock and roll
Great to see Paul playing guitar.

I can't get over the fact that I'm looking at Paul Rodgers and seeing Bon Scott.
Can this man do no wrong?
Well, when I...
Want to rock steady
Yeah
I'll know...
I got to get ready
Close my eyes and let myself go
Listen to..., oh

And stay with me awhile
And rock steady

It took me forever to learn how to play this. But it’s always a hit when friend are around.
I love how the live version of their songs is never played the same way as the original studio recordings.
O
Great singing &excellent keeping of time on the 🥁
Love bad company, both the band and my friends...
1:44 Ahhhh yes, the white platform shoes from the early 70s lol.

I wish they hadn't sped this one up. Not many old performances with this quality of video and audio.
Love it!
Gee this is the quick version rodgers how good amazing
Paul is the real deal .❤
Does Paul Rodgers ever put in a bad performance
Nope
Better live in this raw performance than the studio version which was recorded. You can tell during the beginning when they start to grove and then during the chorus they Jam.
